Why does it feel like it takes 5 more taps in the new app to change which speaker it uses? Am I using the new interface wrong? I can't just pick a single speaker from the list of available ones anymore. I have to check it then uncheck the other one that was previously selected. Is there a better way to go about picking a single speaker in the new interface?

Sonos app was on my computer yesterday but today when I tried to open it, it continually asked me to update and responds that I don’t need an update.  I thought maybe I needed to uninstall and reinstall but there is not an app for Sonos in the Apple App Store!.  They continue to show the Sonos app for iphone or ipad.  It has not operated correctly since the recent update but I can’t go back to the older version.  Is there any solution to this new issue?

Hello all,Just did the update to the newest Sonos app. Disney Plus now has no Atmos. It has worked previously and Netflix is still showing Atmos working fine. Everything else on the Hisense has stayed the same.Any thoughts?

Hi,I'm considering purchasing the Sonos Ace Headphone but have a question holding me back. My current home theater setup includes a Playbar, One SL, and Sub. Can the Ace connect wirelessly to my TV without the need for a Bluetooth transmitter? I'm hoping for some expert advice to assist me with this. Thank you!

I have a long history of constant radio drop-outs and numerous conversations with Sonos technicians to try and resolve the issues. They usually come up with the same monotonous fixes which involve switching all the Sonos items on and off, unplugging the router, and/ or changing router settings, changing all range of network channels.Also overtime other equipment has been alleged to be interfering with Sonos ie the Virgin Hub4 (which is now in modem mode and operated through a TP Link router), and the BBC Sounds app, which we have stopped using for the time being. The latest item that is suggested to be interfering with the Sonos system is our Devolo powerline.Just to add interest the Sonos Roam has stopped connecting with the system, although according to the Sonos App it is playing properly. Reading about similar issues and the lack of solutions, it seems that Sonos is just no longer fit for purpose. My system is:Room 1 Home cinema system consisting of Playbar, two x Play 3 and Sub-mi

Good morning,I wondered about the Sonos Arc soundbar system. If you don't first buy a dedicated Sonos subwoofer to pair with the Arc. Can we connect our subwoofer that we have on our wired 5.1 home cinema set via optical audio output? Best regardsActarus

Can someone explain to me a use case where you would wear headphones but have other music/video on at the same time for you to consume and what the actual benefit would be. Please do it like I am 5 years old. 

Newb here, so this might be a dumb question. If I buy a heavily used Sonos Amp, will it sound just as good as a brand-new Sonos Amp? Another words, does the Amp wear out over time in terms of the sound quality it provides?

Hi i have Sonos 100, Sonos 300 and Sonos amp all connected to the same network (WiFi) but i cannot stream music thru AirPlay as it asks a the “AirPlay Code” - Enter the on-screen code for “name of the speaker”.My question is what on-screen? I’m streaming from my phone. I’ve reviewed other posts and says to uncheck the require password from AirPlay settings, but from which settings?

I purchased two new SYMFONISK Table Lamps today which I’ve been unable to add to my existing system despite dozens of attempts. I can’t get beyond the ‘Getting your SYMFONISK Table Lamp Read...’ screen.Have been though the process multiple times and end up with a ‘Your SYMFONISK Table Lamp couldn’t be set up. Unplug the power cord, plug it back in, and try again’.I’m also encountering a message saying ‘The connection to your SYMFONISK Table lamp was lost. Make sure SYMFONISK Table lamp is powered on’. Additional details.Router has been powered off and on again. Have tried with and without ethernet connected directly to the router. With ethernet disconnected the setup process gets as far as connecting to the temporary network, but then fails. Router broadcasts 2.4 and 5GHz on same channel SSID, have tried with each of them disabled in turn. Lamps have been unplugged and plugged back in again. App (on Android Pixel 7) is up to date. Other speakers on existing system are all working fine.

Do people here understand that Sonos has good engineers designing their products, but their IT folks who create the apps and programs that operate the devices.... those IT folks are pathetic.  All these problems are attributable to what can only be truly inept, incompetent IT staff.

Hi, My Sonos S2 desktop controller (Windows PC) is not opening up. It comes up with check for updates, click on it and it says you are up to date and won't go any further. I have deleted the controller and reinstalled but still the same….?Anything else I can do…?

I've encountered an issue with my Samsung QN75QN85AAWXXY TV, specifically when it's set to "Digital Output Format: Auto" and connected to a Sonos Arc soundbar. Despite trying various cables and confirming the TV recognizes the e-ARC connection as it should, the audio intermittently cuts out. This problem arises whether I'm watching free-to-air TV or streaming through any apps on the TV.Interestingly, when I switch the TV's setting to PCM, the audio dropout issue ceases, but this workaround significantly compromises sound quality since formats like Dolby aren't supported in PCM mode.I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue or might have insights or solutions to suggest.

I recently had to replace my Roam unit with a new one. It setup in “my system” just fine and works great. The problem is that the old unit still shows in the app and I want to delete. How to do?
