Is it possible to listen to Apple Music with a set of Port and 2 One’s only?  

Used to have a Samsung TV that went wrong and I replaced it with an LG. The old remote worked, and is still working with my playbase, however when I try to update and use my magic remote via the Sonos app it says it can’t find it. I’ve been through every (logic to me) menu I can think of numerous times. IN the TV I am connected via the optical lead. On the TV’s app I have selected Sonos as the manufacturer but the app says it can’t connect because of the null modem cable!!!! Sonos helpline says it’s because of the TV and it’s settings, even spoke to one of their tech guys who said get in touch with LG, but thought I’d try on here to see if anybody can help me. I have read several discussions on this topic and have tried “Bose” and “Phillips” but neither have worked. Anybody got any ideas please???

Bought Era 100 today, I use amazon Alexa with it for our music. The speaker kept beeping with every command. I turned off the request beeps on the Alexa app, which stopped it, but for some reason the Era starts beeping again on voice commands, despite it still being turned off on the Alexa app. We have a couple of Sonos Ones in other rooms, and have never had any issues with them. Am I missing something with the Era 100. 

My setup: Beam 2 + 2 x One SL.I got Plex to play my local FLAC files.If I play high-res files (FLAC), it’s working fine.If I play 44.1/16 bit files, it says that it lost connection to Plex (through the Sonos app). Playing the files through the Plex app or in the browser works just fine.Any idea what’s wrong?

The orange light keeps blinking on my new Roam SL when plugged in and charging. The unit was 100% charged and then discharged to 90%, with first use. I then plugged it into my computer using the supplied USB C cable. The app shows charging and at 91% but an orange light is flashing. The website says the orange light will flash if depleted (see https://support.sonos.com/en-au/article/charging-your-sonos-roam-or-roam-sl). It was not flashing when connected to a wall charger vs computer (5V/3A USB). So, what does the flashing orange light mean in this case? Also I can only find statements on how long it takes to partially charge the unit.  How long does it take to fully charge the unit from 0% to 100%, say using a fast charger (i.e.full capacity)?

I’m sure I once came across a setting where i could control the increments on volume when pressing volume on my iPhone. For instance a press would be 1,5 or 10 % increments. I’ve searched high and low for that setting but cannot find it. The steps are far too large, especially at very low volumes. 

After playing a record on the turntable I tried to switch to the radio, but on the Sonos app the only sources showing were the old TuneIn and Music Library. New TuneIn, Apple Music, and Sonos Radio had disappeared. When I tired to select my local NPR station from the old TuneIn I get the message “Unable to Play the Radio station.” I get the same error message when I try to select another radio station,I have had the turntable for a little more than a week. Otherwise it works well.

My setup: Arc, 2 subs, 2 ERA 300s as surrounds. One of my ERAs is making a buzzing vibration-like noise when there is a lot of bass. Lorde’s “Royals” is case in point. The ERAs are on stands but they are tight and that doesn’t seem to be causing the issue. Have had this setup since the 300s were released and never had this type of issue. I also don’t stress the system so it shouldn’t be related to a blown speaker, etc. Just thought I’d try here before looking at warranty service. Thx.

I have 2x Era 300 in one room. There are very annoying issues:Bluetooth playback from the phone 2m away is dropping one channel, restoring the next second Playback from windows media library is only able to play one song in the folder, then I have to manually advance. Playlists are needed, but there is no possibility to add those into any sort of playlist! Playback from windows media library - can’t play FLAC files, error 701.

I I have 2 Symfonisk amp Any chance to play music by bluetooth 

I want to get a Five, but I need to be able to mount it to a wooden ceiling beam. Basically, I can install screws straight upwards, but will still have the Five angled as though it’s on a traditional wall mount (as opposed to facing straight down from the ceiling). Is there a mount that will let me do this?

Good afternoon (its 16,45 pm here in Italy) , we have a B&B in a countryside area  with a sea view where in the shared living room  there are installed 2 Ikea Symphonisk Frames, I paired them on stereo  L and R  mode, using that with Apple Music , scheduling the music (with Sonos app  alert)  is really nice and all guest appreciate a lot , listening mostly famous cover in a  jazzed mood  with a 13% volume, so very soft music ..actually we have a large covered terrace about 28 mq  (7mt x 4mt) (no windows just opened covered terrace) next to the shared living room (between living room and terrace there are large windows that we keep usually close so you can't ear music when u are in terrace) and I wanted to spread the same music and same scheduling in the terrace  installing an Era 100 , do you think it is will be fine and the sound? will be decent?  I will install the Speaker in the center of the terrace put on the wall so people will ear it from back. Hello,I just purchased the 8” In-Ceiling Set and the 8” In-Ceiling Speakers by Sonos and Sonance (Pair). The basement room that I purchased it for is an open room that is approximately 30ft by 13ft. I plan to have all 4 of the speakers installed in this room, questions:Is 4x 8in Sonos speakers too must for this room size? Am I ok to use 12 gauge speaker wire? Any other advise would be greatly appreciated?Thank You

I have the original Sonos move and I want to add the move 2 and play my music through both speakers . What is the best way to do this . I tried earlier with the move 2 being added and I lost connection with the original move in my Sonos App thanks 

Years back Sonos introduced “their own” Windows Music Library Sharing (disambiguation: the SonosLibraryService) as part of the Windows Desktop client. I believe this was rolled out shortly after S2 arrived, at the time when many of us were highlighting the awkward reliance on SMBv1. SonosLibraryService creates a Sonos-only HTTP (or is it HTTPS?) share, tho’ don’t quote me on that. In any case, this solution works easy-peasy.So amongst the breaking “thou shall not use SMBv1 or HTTP!” brouhaha, the QUESTION is “IN or OUT” for SonosLibraryService on a forward going basis?And if the answer is “IN”—which would be copacetic from my perspective—how will SonosLibraryService be installed/updated given that the Windows Desktop Client is being taken out and shot?

Not using Spotify but still see internet calls every minute out to Spotify   

We control our Sonos system using Alexa which is linked to my Amazon account. My wife has now taken a subscription to Spotify linked to her own email address. My question is can we link her Spotify to the shared Sonos system?It would be nice if Sonos had a family concept as does amazon prime.ThanksDewi A Williams 

When I connect my phone to my sonos roam via bluetooth, I initially don’t get any music from the speaker, although music is playing on the phone. Also when I hit the Play button on the Roam, I can’t pause the music. I still get the “connection successful” sound by the roam and my phone also shows that I am connected. This only happens, when the bluetooth volume is below a certain level (about 2/3 max level). What helps is turning the bluetooth volume to maximum after connecting and once I hear the music turn it back down. At this point I can also control the music with the buttons on the roam such as pause or next song. Is there a certain input thrshold, before the roam acknowledges the connection, and if yes, can I lower it? I use my roam a lot to listen to quiet music in the middle of the night, and it is a real pain to always have to max the volume for a successful connection.

My Google Nest works fine, responding to my voice.  My Sonos works fine and has an Alexa Dot attached to it.  I am trying to make my Google Nest play/respond through my Sonos system.  Due to the age of my devices, I am running the Sonos S1 Controller on my Android.  When I choose Services and Voice and under Voice select Add a Service, I am given a choice to select Google Assistant.  However, when clicking Add Google Assistant, nothing happens. Sonos has been added in the Google Assistant app directly. Suggestions?

I purchased an Era 100 from a big chain electronic store in April. The box was factory sealed when I picked it upThen I sold this factory sealed box to someone on  May 5th (Note that i have never opened this box). Few hours later this person contacted me back and told me the unit in the box is a used One Gen2. I can think of 2 possibilties:#1: Someone at the electronic store swapped it before I bought it;#2: The person who bought from me is not telling the truth.So I'm just wondering if there is a way to check when this unit was activated. "I have a Sonos Era 300 speaker installed on a shelf 50 cm from the ceiling; following Sonos recommendations, I placed it upside down; however, the speaker no longer responds to voice control; does it mean that the microphone is out of reach when the device is upside down ?

I have my Sonos beam (gen 2) connected to my sony smart tv and it is very quiet. Need to put it to volume 50+ from the sonos to have what would be level 15-20 on the sony tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m assuming it is a setting on the tv that I need to change. Let me know, thank you

We have a Sonos system set up in our house and it works great. I am trying to set up a new system in our motorhome on a different wifi system (Starlink) and am unable to figure out how to do this. I do not want the motorhome system on our house wifi as we travel, hence the Starlink. How do I do this?

Recently I’ve had an issue where I select a streaming radio station, let’s say CBC (I’m in Canada), it will play a different radio station, often one that was playing before like KEXP. It will display the graphic from the radio station I’ve selected but play a completely different stream.Usually if I stop and close the app and re-open it it seems to realize what’s going on and play the correct stream but it often takes a couple of tries. I’ve been using Sonos for quite a few years and this is a new issue.Has anybody else had this happen?   

I can’t get my surrounds to work with movies….they do with music
