So somehow playing music from iOS Music (and Classical) app through iPhone built-in speakers is giving you an “Atmos” playback experience but playing it through AirPlay on a Sonos Arc and 2 x Era 300 rear speaker array is giving you Lossless?

Airplay doesn’t support Spatial Audio … yet. It’s coming though. If it will be supported on Sonos who knows, my guess is likely.
