I often get my Apple Music App stop for no reason at every 7 or 8 songs BUT, it only does it only on my iPad and not on my iPhone. Both are on the same wifi, high speed optic fibre with Sonos Boost. Here is the diagnostic reference. 1876886745 

Hey allJust after some advice. We have a Playbar set up with two Ones as surround sound.We have a new Five and will connect the record player to.Are we able to add the Five to the surround system or will this have to be a standalone speaker?

I have 5 sonos amps in my IT closet. I have 3 sonos subwoofers around my home, each designated to amps in the closet. They are all on my wifi (wifi coverage is great all over the home). The subs are too far from the amps to pair, will purchasing a boost and hardwiring it to the router fix this? On sonosnet does the sub still do ad-hoc to the amp itself or does it use sonosnet to pair to the amp?

I am a very happy and loyal sonos customer, (I am using a translator I hope you will understand my thoughts) surely there have been some requests in the past but I would like to ask the technical department 2 things .. 1) from the sonos app why don't you put a sound bar center channel equalizer?2) or create a free system in the sense that I use my play3 as left and right channel and arc only as center channel

Does Sonos integrate with Lovesac StealthTech?

Tonight I hit the “Party Mode”.  I will not get specific but there is a Sonos speaker all over the house.  Except in the pool.  Next to the pool yes.After saying hello to the neighbours and them something something, TURN IT DOWN!..  I decided to go to my headphones.  Exit Sonos app and back to…. another app.  I have read all the posts and the people saying that the app is a control centre, not sure for who, NASA or maybe SpaceX > “Starman Man”..  I just need to ask why?  If I have Sonos speakers I use your app.  If I had another companies speakers why would I open Sonos?  Why can I not just use the same app for all of my music?  My subscription is not with Sonos.  Your blocking of local playback does nothing for your brand.  It just makes me ask if I should look at Apple or Amazon.  Their sound is not as good of course but sometimes I just want to listed to music.  Yesterday via my Sonos speaker.  Today via my headphones.

Hi,When I start streaming music from Spotify and the speakers are idle, the speakers are always muted. The volume is the same as previous time, but muted.Then I have to open the app to unmute the speakers.Is there a solution?Thanks

Has anyone found a way of controlling the sound of a Playbase with the Magic Remote of an LG OLED G2 (2022)? In Device Connector (or rather “Universal Control Settings” as it’s now called), there is no Sonos available in the list of vendors, when setting up the Optical output...

Thought this was a feagure of s2. 

Any ideas when I setup my Sonos Mini sub I have to use the code at the bottom of the Mini Sub.  The NFC ( Near Field Communication) fails to recognise my iPhone or iPad.  Thanks  

HelloPocketCasts has stopped working through the S2 app. When trying to play a podcast it says unable to play selected item. And when trying to choose a podcast either no podcasts come up or it says unable to browse music. I have tried rebooting my router, reauthorising my PocketCasts account, removing the service and re-adding, but no luck.Thanks

Last night, there was a power outage at my house. When the power came back on, most of my Sonos products came back online. But not my Sonos Connect. After a factory reset, my Sonos app was able to see the Connect. But I still can’t get it back online. Is there a step I need to take? Do I need to hardwire the Connect to the router in order to bring the Connect back online? It’s stuck at this stage:

Hi, I moved house recently and had to set everything up from scratch again.  Everything is now working fine apart from the fact that I cannot for the life of me get Alexa to play anything from BBC Sounds on my sonos speakers. I’m using 2 Play 1’s and a Soundbar with two Echo Dots. For the purposes of this particular problem I’m talking about my kitchen Exho Dot and my Kitchen Sonos Play 1.I can play from Spotify to sonos using alexa commands ‘Alexa play Madonna on Kitchen’. No problem, Madonna plays on my kitchen sonos. I can play BBC Sounds content via the sonos app.  I can play other services fine eg ‘Alexa play Absolute radio on kitchen’. Or‘Alexa play from Audible on kitchen’.No problem with any of this. But I cannot get alexa to pass a BBC Sounds command through to sonos. Command: ‘alexa, ask BBC Sounds to play radio 4 on kitchen’ Response: ‘playing the kitchen cabinet from 27th of august 2022’.  I just got my Sonos Arc today and I’m loving it!I was just wondering if my Arc is too far from my TV (20 inches from bottom of TV) as Sonos recommends Atleast 4-6. If so, do you guys recommend wall mounting the Arc? Am I loosing any sound immersiveness? Currently the Arc is sitting below my sitting position so if I wall mount my Arc will it noticeably sound better. For reference my ceiling is 9ft and I'm sitting around 6.5ft away from the ArcAlso should the Arc be placed on the tip of the console like the pic attached or I can push it backward as it will look neater.My main use is for watching movies and TV shows so I would appreciate any setup improvement. 

Hi, I’ve got a Beam Gen 2, sub mini & 2 One SL’s as surrounds. They’re working & sounding great. But on the S2 app under the Surround Audio setting page,the Surround Distance categories are not activated and no adjustments can be made. Have I done something wrong in the setup or has this category not activated for some reason.thanks, Mike.

Can 2 Roams be used as rear/surrounds with a Beam?

Hi! I have a ZP120 amp connected to two bookshelf speakers that I use for music playing. Is there a way to connect my TV to it? Keep in mind these ZP120’s do not have the HDMI ARC connections that the new Amps  have. It only has an analog Line-In input and two ethernet ports. If it IS possible, my next question is about how it works: I don’t want to have to open the sonos app and select anything when I use the TV--I just want to turn the TV on and have the sound come out of the speakers… Thx!

What does Sonos normally offer or do to it's customers if there outside the warranty period for S2 devices that are defective? Do they normally provide a discount on new purchases and if so, what kind of discount? Or would they maybe see about a full unit replacement if it gets escalated to a manager?

Hi I have a weird issue. For years I have been able to turn on/off my LG TV through voice command using google assistant on my Sonos One. Suddenly this has stopped working, and the google assistant in Sonos says “Sorry unknown error has occured on [name of my chromecast]” (this error might not be precise, I have translated it from my native language).I am able to for example pause/unpause the chromecast using voice command.If if say the exact same turn on/off command using the Assistant app on my phone the TV turns on/off.I have tried unlinking/removing my assistant both in Google Home app, and in the Sonos. Linked it again, and went through the setup process, but the same error occurs. I have also tried renaming my Chromecast (found that advice in a similar thread), but same result.Both my Sonos One and Chromecast has newest firmware.If i go to https://myactivity.google.com/ I can't even see any of my Sonos one commands. 

I have a projector Optoma projector with HDMI and HDMI MHL outputs for image and sound. Talking with the Sonos Commercial area, the didn’t recommend me to buy the Beam (Gen 2) because if I don’t have a device (TV or Projector) with ARC output, I can have problems with the synchronisation of the sound and the image. ¿is there any solution? ¿is this a real problem, or the appreciation would be minimal?. Thank you. Regards, Enrique inputs and outputs Optoma 

I have surround system with Arc + 2x One SL. I have already Trueplay-tuned that system with my Iphone 14 Pro Max, which has iOS 16.0.2. Now I have recently added also Sub Mini to that system without any problems, but when I try to Trueplay-tune the whole system, I get error message that Iphone is not supported ??? Any idea, what could be the problem and silution ?

Hey everyone, I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to all things sound. Love my Sonos system and just got the mini sub for my Beam + One setup. I’m struggling to figure out where to place it in the room. The best spot space wise is on my entertainment unit behind the TV.I know it’s not perfect, but how much bass quality am I losing with that placement?Thanks!

Hei, Jeg kjører Sonos Trådløst over WiFi 2, 4 Ghz som “Teknsik nett” - med andre smart Home produkter. Laptop kjøres normalt i eget WiFi nett til ordinære klienter - 5 Ghz. Det benyttes to Asus routere satt opp med AiMech, RT-AX86U - versjon: 3.0.0.4.388_20566. Teknisk nett på 2,4 Ghz kjører kun fra den ene Asus-routeren som er plassert i kjeller.Det er god dekning for alle Sonosprodukter - 12 totalt - ikke noe lag eller problem med lyd, men:Om jeg er på soverom i 2. etg. kjøkken i 1. etg, stue i 1. etg. og lytter til Sonosradio stopper denne opp i rundt 10 sekunder når jeg starter opp min laptop (5 Ghz) og så fortsetter den som normalt… Lytter jeg på musikk via Spotify har jeg ikke dette problemet. Velger jeg å benytte 2,4 Ghz på pcen har jeg heller ikke dette problemet - kobler altså til samme tekniske nettverk som Sonos benytter.Hva kan gjøres for å finne ut av årsaken til denne “pausen” under oppstart av pcen? I recently updated to apple iOS 16, and ever since then my Spotify app will ONLY connect to my Sonos speaker if I use AirPlay. Before it allowed me to connect by selecting device. This worked way better for me as I could play music in my daughter’s room while being able to hear audio on my phone (on IG, or YouTube) without interrupting her music. But now since I’m forced to use airplay I can only play music or my YouTube audio will push to her speaker. anyone else seeing this issue? Any fixes? We tried updating the Sonos software but it keeps saying “error code - 800”
