Can I not pair a sub mini with a gen 3 sub to an Arc with a pair of One SLs?

I have just purchased a Sony Bravia 2022 model. Upgraded from an LG. I was able to hook up to my Sonos Play:5 on the LG. Now, I cannot for the life of me work out how to get it to work with the new television. Help!!! 

Howdy All, I have one of two S2 speakers that alerts an unwanted “bong” alarm daily at midnight and I can’t figure out where the command is activated. Diagnostic number :846578419.  I’ve check all my phones and tablets to turn off or quit Sonos activity but the midnight bong continues. Any help much appreciated.

Hey Sonos gurus! I’ve read through all of the outdoor TV wiring setup topics and couldn’t find a solution to my current setup and what I’d like to do. I’ve got a home with a detached garage that is about 100 feet from the house.Current Setup:HouseLiving Room - Playbar with 2 surrounds (Play:1’s) and SUB Attached to the back of the house: Connect:Amp + 2 Sonance Outdoor Speakers 1 Play:1 in master bedroom.GarageSonos Connect attached to an AV receiver with Left/Center/Right speakers. The connect is “hardwired” via a mesh access point. I am adding a TV mounted inside my garage with an extra long-arm to swing out via a second interior garage door for outdoor movie nights. My garage is a 1-car garage with doors on either side to allow for a second car to be parked inside the fence line. Ideal Setup: I’d love to be able to use the Connect setup (Left/Center/Right + Receiver) in combination with the Connect:Amp setup (2 Solance speakers) to play the audio from the outdoor TV. Hi I currently own Sonos Arc and Sub. I have In ceiling speakers and outdoor that where already in the house. What products do i need to purchase so I can join the Lounge room in ceiling speakers into my theatre setup and also be able to choose to play music outside separately.

I have a LG C8, Sonos ARC+ Sonos SL Ones x2, Chromecast with Google TV - something it randomly disconnects from the Sonos arc and I get this volume bar at the bottom. Has anyone else experienced this? No sound will come out.   

My sonos speakers keep going line or are not in the app. I’ve done ever troubleshooting exercise and talked to the support desk. This problem seems hopeless. Is there anything I can do to escalate and get a result? My system was fine for years. I’m frustrated and want to throw all this stuff out.

My Sonos Beam will not connect with my network anymore. I changed the password so when it says “Did you change the password” I say yes.Do you want to add a network? Yes.Find system...Sonos not found. I rebooted the system and the router. What do I do next? 

Hi all,  home has multiple Sonos products, many in stereo pairs.  I was going to add a turntable with pre-amp to the mix and I wanted to have those in stereo pair as well. My questions are: A: if I go with the Five, do the stereo pairs need to be close to have a split rca cable to separate left and right channels? And this would lead to longer runs of the cables if this was the case.  B: should go with 2 Fives and a port to run the turntable to the audio in, and from there can I arrange stereo pairs with the fives via wifiC: if I go with B, and the room is 20’x20’ are the fives in stereo pair too much and should consider one(s)? bonus question: will the analog output of the turntable, sound better direct from turntable to five, instead of converting to digital and using Wi-Fi for the signal and thus throw everything out the window and go for 1 five with direct input.  thanks for considering sharing your opinion! allan  

Hello Expert,I had a 10 year old tv which I already replaced with a 164cm QLED.Now i have to replace sound bar.  The old one is not worth mentioning. The room is 520 cm * around 500 cm (door on one side and kitchen at the other).My main problem is that the plan agreed with our bouwer does not have much space around the speaker compartment.  The plan may not make sense, hence sending a photo of what we started with.My friend suggested Sonos Arc.  I took some test in mediamarkt and like them as well. But the problem is that I am not sure how much space is needs above, below and on the side to give the Atmos affect.Renegotiating the agreed design with the builder is almost a deal breaker in Netherlands. And the again i might have to order the steenstrips etc, which may infinitely delay the project.Should I go for Arc or a lower variant? Or can someone suggest minor adjustment in the design that can help.Thanks a lot in advance

Hello!DO I HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE 4 8 OHMS SPEAKERS MAKING IMPEDANCE MARRIAGE IN 2 OHMS AND ONLY PLUG IN ONE AMP CHANNEL? ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE 4 OHMS SPEAKERS AND I WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT EACH PAIR IN PARALLEL USING THE TWO CHANNELS ON THE AMP. CAN I DO THIS? Thank you.

I can log into Sonos via website, when using the IOS app I get wrong password or email message.  How to fix this? I have 2 new Ports on a new eero wifi/network.  Both are hardwired.  eero APP shows both connected to network. Port 1 has solid white light, I can AirPlay to this one.  I can not log into it or see it on the network via app to add features.  I get a message that both app and port need to be on same network, I only have 1 network.  How to fix? Port 2, status light flashes: 4 short white 1 long red 1 short white 1 long amber 1 long green Then repeats.  I have tried all resets I can find via web with no luck.  How do I fix?  

I have been having ongoing issues with streaming SirusXM for years now. This is one of my main uses of my Sonos. Now the stream plays for 15 min at a time and the cuts out with an error stating “Unable to play ‘channel here’ - the song is not encoded correctly.” 

I’m getting the feeling I can’t add the Sub mini, because it won’t pair correctly with Gen3 sub? Is that correct?

Rang service support last week because having changed wifi routers and set up Sonos again, whole system disconnected. Went through various steps. Got it working again. Now it’s gone again just a week later.  had previously done various factory resets etc.  any ideas (a) how to reconnect a system of 6 speakers without doing resets on all? And (b) how to stop this happening repeatedly? diagnostics report number is 158033540 many thanks!

I have to run S1 to control my old Bridge and Connect: Amp.I want to add a Sonos Arc for my TV, which must run on S2.I tried to set this up on my phone but could not.What am I missing? Why didn’t they just make a remote for the Arc?  Maybe that too retro-old timey but it works and can be set up without a Sonos PhD.

Hi all,After a short two and half year my Sonos one gen2 decided to quit its loyal service. As you can see in the picture below, resistor c285 fried itself. Do you think after replacing the resistor it wil work again? and what resister do i need to get?  

Is the hdmi cable provided with the arc is getting the best possible performance for sound??

Hi,really annoying problem and I hope someone can help out… thanks in advance…I play music via an Alexa routine in my kitchen Play5 each morning some mornings I commute to London and want to listen to a podcast When I open my Spotify app (on the train) I see “kitchen” as the device and the current music playing there i want to leave that music playing but listen to a podcast on my phone how do I do that? if I select phone as the device then the music stops playing in the kitchen and plays on the phone. So my wife at home suddenly stops listening to music if I switch to the podcast first then that comes through the kitchen and when I switch devices to my phone I am fine but, again, no music in the kitchen i have a Spotify family account and Spotify on Sonos is using a different account to the one on my phone i never control Sonos from the Spotify app so happy to completely disconnect Sonos devices from the app on my phoneamy help to this really annoying feature much appreciated. ​​​​​​​

We’ve inherited a Playbase and two Play 5’s (first gen) to add to our two s-one and play 3 having not used them for a while moving house etc. we cannot get these to show as reset and able to set up, they say we need S1 app but that insists we need to move to S2 app, the base cannot be found even after holding infinity button in. Any ideas?

A podcast I have listened to on Stitcher via Sonos for some time has just moved to be on Spotify only. Now searching via Sonos app for this does not find the podcast. When I search in Spotify app, it is there and I can play on my iPhone but when I try to switch playback to Sonos device, get error message for all Sonos devices “can’t play this right now”. This seems to affect only podcasts rather than playlist or artist searches. Am I correct in assuming that Spotify podcasts can be played via Sonos ? This seems odd if true. Any ideas welcome. Thanks

I have two Play:5s with a Sub Gen 2 and I use them horizontal with Trueplay disabled. Would putting them vertical make any difference to how they sound vs when they are horizontal? 

Hello there, need a little help finishing my setup.My setup includes:Sonos Beam gen2BenQ tk700sti eARC supported 4K projector I read a few articles online and follow the troubleshooting steps but nothing help.Running out of idea and would need some help. I went as simple as I could and ran an HDMI cable from the HDMI 2 slot of the projector to the Beam but the speaker won’t detect it for some reason ?

Pretty new to the surround world. Been a Sound Engineer for 25 years so I focused on getting the best stereo sound I could.Just ordered a new Beam Gen 2 and have a couple of older Play:1 speakers. I planned on just keeping the Play:1 as multi room speakers, but I’m curious about adding them as surrounds.If I add them as surrounds, does this affect the Atmos playback in the Beam? As in, does it then try to play all surround content as 5.0 or will it play the Atmos content through the Beam while adding some rear info into the surrounds?Or are the surrounds ignored when playing Atmos content?Having trouble finding this information. Thanks.
