Hi,I just moved into a new house where there are four in ceiling speakers (two in the kitchen and two in the living room) and a Sonance woofer in the living room (VP85W). I purchased a Sonos Amp and successfully connected the four speakers and they are working great.  Now trying to connect the woofer, since it is a passive one, I got a Nobsound G2 Pro Mono Subwoofer Amplifier and connected it as shown in the attached pictures. When I play music there’s no sound coming from the woofer. I also tried connecting the woofer through the Sonos app and it’s not finding it. What am I missing? Thanks! 

Hi.I gave my daughter my Sonos 5 for her to use but she’s unable to connect to her WiFi.She has tried everything that’s been suggested but still no success. She has even gone back to factory reset but with no joy. All she gets is ‘router not found’ even with an Ethernet cable.What is she doing wrong please? 

Sonos One SL ,Spotify Premium user, Win 11 laptop has Sonos app. Have installed Spotify through Sonos site. When I open Sonos on PC and select Spotify, it sees only Playlists, not songs or podcasts. I can play those through Android mobile. Why not from laptop? 

When trying to play Amazon prime music on my Sonos 1 the Sonos app does not work properly, songs repeat, when clicking on an album for example you cannot select songs now it just plays, it will start playing random songs i.e if you chose Slipknot station Spandau Ballet plays…help

Hi, I recently switched broadband to Shell Energy following a house move.  They supplied a Technicolor DGA0122NLK router. I have two Play 3s.  Music will play perfectly for 5 to 8 minutes before stopping.  Error messages include ‘Song not encoded properly’ and ‘Wi-fi connection unstable’.Are there any other Shell Energy or Technicolor router users who’ve had similar problems and have found a fix? Thanks in advance.

I have the beam 2 for a soundbar in my bedroom. I just bought 2 one sl for rear l-r speakers. I want to move the two speakers into the kitchen while I cook, without the beam playing in the bedroom. How do I play music in the kitchen without the beam bedroom playing music?

Cannot control rooms, only master.  Looks like a new bug as this has always worked before.  FYI.

Hello, this is an issue I have had for some time now when switching to S2 but finally getting around to asking why this is happening: I have a beam connected to my tv and when watching tv, works without issue (5.0 setup with 2 ones). However, when I group either our move or roan to the TV setup, they both will skip / have poor connection to TV audio (however the beam and ones still work smoothly) this is unique only to tv audio.  When I stream music or anything else, there’s no issue. Pre s2, it was not a problem at all.  I’ve tried resetting everything, software is up to date, etc and nothing seems to work.  any help is appreciated.

My Roam has stopped working. It has disappeared from the S2 app.When plugged into mains charger, the amber light on the bottom is on.When sitting on charger base, no lights show at all.The white LED has stopped lighting.I have tried reset (hold down play/pause, press and release power button on rear). This does nothing.Any suggestions?

We have a large property with a main house, entertainment building and a pool house.  There is one Unifi network for the entire property UDMpro, 3 USW24 switches and 10 Access points, the outbuilding are connected by fiber to a switch in each building.  In the main house there are 12 amps, 2 arcs, 1 beam and 1 sub.  One of the amps is plugged into Ethernet and the rest are on Sonosnet.  The Main house works fine.  The outbuildings are to far away to connect via Sonosnet and when I try to wire one Amp in either building via Ethernet the network crashes and does not recover until I unplug the Ethernet.  I have STP (not RSTP) enabled with the switches prioritized appropriately and IGMP enabled.  In the Entertainment building there are 4amps and 2arcs, in the Pool House there are 2amps.  What would be the best and stable way to connect the outbuilding Sonos players.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is your s/w so bad?  I have 3 sonos1.  I just bought 3 sonos sl.  I connected one of the sonos sl and now I don’t see the sonos 1 on my app on my iphone.  I just see the new sonos sl.  what happened to the other 3 sonos 1 and why I cannot see them?  Also, I have the reverse problem on my mac, where I see the sonos 1 devices but not the new sonos sl device.  Fix this **stuff**!  Who has the time to trouble shoot your crappy s/w after paying premium price for these devices?*Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.*

I am going to hook up my Gen 2 Beam but have the existing Sonos Gen 1 HDMI cable fished through my wall.  do I need the Gen 2 HDMI cable for the new connection or will my existing Gen 1 Sonos supplied HDMI cable work without losing any new Dolby features?

Hi to everyone. I just configurated the ARC+SUB+SL system in my living room and when I pair the SUB with the ARC, the system advise me that the SUB is currently linked to another device, and if I want to pair it to the current one.Does this mean that SONOS has sent me an already used SUB? Or is it a normal issue for these device?Your help would be great appreciated.Thanks

I recently had a beam soundbar, with 2 surround sound (SL) speakers that worked just fine. I then upgraded my soundbar to an ARC (and connected to TV with HDMI). However, now I cannot re-add my surround sound speakers. They are nowhere to be found in my profile, and when I do add product/search product it searches for a long time and cannot locate (the speakers are connected to the same wifi as the soundbar). I’ve tried unplugging the soundbar and speakers and re-plugging but that hasn’t helped either…

Hello,for a few days now I’ve been unable to add tracks to queue from amazon and spotify. I get no error message and I’m able to play a station. Queue is emtpy and when I try to drag somthing on there it turns grey and it’s not added. Also the usual ‘add to queue’ menu items disapeeard. I restarted the sonos, router and PC several times and software is up to date. usually an icon appears with individual which explodes individual songs, but it nowhere to be found.Sent diagnostics, confirmation is 1472919792. Thanks

About 3 weeks ago, when I introduced a Gen 3 Sub to my setup, I am finding that when I adjust the volume of a group or when listening through just one speaker, it will jump up or down outside of my actions.  This morning I have to keep turning the volume up as when I open Spotify or the Sonos app the volume reduces.  What’s going on, and can it be fixed? HiI recently started to see a bug in some (not all) of my Apple Music playlists. Some songs in some playlists will not play on Sonos. It’s not an Apple Music issue as I can play them fine in Apple Music but for some reason when playing the playlist from the Sonos app some songs will not play. They even show as unavailable in the playlist. Wondering if anyone could help me. 

I have a UE60KS7005UXXE Samsung TV from 2016 and have just bought a Sonos Arc and plugged it into the HDMI Arc. I can only get it to play 5.1 not Atmos.  Is it possible to get it to play atmos from my streaming services?

I am building a pool that will be outfitted with THREE underwater speakers from Clark Synthesis.  The specs of the speakers are: Continuous Power Handling: 135 watts Impedance: 4 ohms Overload Protection: Polyswitch Frequency Response: 20Hz to 17kHz Electrical Connection: 100ft. – Underwater, 16-2 Wire Dimensions: 8” (20.3cm) Dia. x 4.5” (11.5cm) Deep Recommended Amplification: 125 – 150 W at 4 OhmsI don’t know how to figure out whether one can connect these 3 speakers to one amp.  I reached out to the manufacturer of the speaker, and they were not totally clear but it seemed that from what they could tell from your website that maybe it would not work.  I suggested to them that we could simply have 3 amps (one for each speaker) to which they replied that it appeared that the speaker would then be over powered.   I guess that adds risk that one might blow out the speakers?  With an underwater system, you can’t really hear the music if you’re not under water so you might crank it up too

So I’ve been trying to google/searched forums and there does not seem to be any clear answers on this topic.Today I have an older surround setup containing one Playbar and 2 Play 1s. I’m looking into making my home smart and have been leaning towards Apple HomeKit.  I would like to know before I buy two new Sonos One to make my surround setup compatible, if it will work with apple HomeKit or not? If not, are there any way to make it work correctly? For example keeping my play 1s in the surround and buying 1 Sonos One to get AirPlay to work? I’m very confused and cannot figure out the correct way to make this work.  Or am I just better of going for Google’s smart home platform even though I only have apple products at home.  Also will Siri work with the Sonos One which I will place in my livingroom for communication and HomePods placed in different locations in the house.

Using a new wifi network (xfinity) on my 12 speaker sonos system.  Having sonos system drop out issues.  Took recommendations from previous conversations, and removed the boost, and hard wired internet connection between Sonos1 SL (or any speaker), and Main Google Mesh pod that is near xfinity router.  If I remove the Google Mesh, it’s somewhat stable. But I need the mesh for maintaining strength of signal throughout the house.  Kept having drop out problems with Google mesh attached.  On the Xfinity app, I was able to separate the 2.4GHz channel and 5Ghz channel into two separate wifi systems with different names, selectable from smart devices.  Selected the 2.4Ghz channel, and SYSTEM IS STABLE after a couple of hours.  Selected the 5Ghz wifi network and as expected dropped out.  Switched back to 2.4Ghz network and all seems to be FINE!

Hi all – I’ve searched Google and Sonos for a while now and can’t find an answer to my issue.I can play from streaming services to my Sonos One, but I can’t play any music from iTunes – either via the Sonos app, or via Airplay – my speaker doesn’t show up when I click the Airplay icon in iTunes.Many thanks!

My TV is connected to a HD machine and a Bluray player using HDMI. The Sonos system is configured to 5.1 surround using HDMI ARC. If I set my HD and Bluray to Bitstream output I get full 5.1 surround but the lipsync delay is noticeable (the audio is delayed). If I set the inputs from the two units to PCM the lipsync delay is resolved but I only get stereo sound. So frustrating! Is there anyway to resolve this?
