I’ve just set up my Arc, One SL speakers and sub.I’ve got the volume on the Arc working with my virgin controller, but the TV standby button is no longer working. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks

I have a Beam (gen 2) sub mini and 2 One SL's acting as rear surrounds. i had to power off one of the one SL's and when i powered it back on it appeared in a new room (living room 2) not paired to the other One SL. Has anyone else seen this ? or knows why it has happened ? In order to get everything back to normal i had to remove the "surround pair" from “living room” and then remove each One SL from the room it was in. then readd a "new" pair of surrounds and go through the setup process again.  i'm concerned this is going to happen every time i turn off a speaker or if there's a power cut.

Hi all,I have Playbar and just purchased a sub mini to pair with it.  System is using SonosNET.I successfully connected the sub to the network, updated the software and paired it with the playbar.  Unfortunately very shortly thereafter, the sub seems to have dropped from the network.  In the system setting section it shows as Playbar (+?) rather than Playbar (+sub).  If I restart the sub, it seems to connect briefly but as soon as I try playing sound from the TV, it drops again.I have tried 3 factory resets and moving the sub to different locations with similar results.  In one case, I was able to get music to play from Spotify through the Playbar which engaged the sub briefly but it eventually dropped again.Any suggestions?thanks in advance,Kevin 

It says “Sorry, we can’t connect to Sonos.  Let’s try some things: ...” It was working fine on this PC untill I switched from the ATT Wifi to an Orbi wifi.  Like I said in the title, our phones still work fine, and they’re on the same wifi as the PC.  All my speakers appear fine for the phone S1 app. I tried resetting the PC S1 app -- no difference.  It searches for about a minute, and says it’s connected, but then after I click OK, it says “Sorry, we can’t connect to Sonos.  Let’s try some things: ...” PC Wifi is is set up as a Private Network and is not set up as a Mobile Hotspot (no Internet connection sharing). Setting it to a Public Network did not help. I tried putting a cat 6 from the PC to my Sonos Boost, and the Internet still works from the PC, but no change to the S1 app on the PC failing to connect to my Sonos system. Diagnostic report: 1543599904

Received my Sonos mini sub. Set it up, power light is on, no difference to the music? Anyone with any ideas.  NICK

Hi, I have just installed Sonos five through wifi and other music services seem to work, but I cannot add Spotify. I can’t even find the service in the sonos app. How come? Spotify is available in Finland.I find my Sonos in the spotify app but I cannot connect to it. Please help! :) 

Intermittent, very brief cut out of sound from Samsung TV through Playbar. Happens on all TV sources - cable box, android box, streaming services. Optical cable connection. Does not occur while playing music. 

After running Trueplay on a stereo system with a Sub or Sub Mini the amount of bass decreases and noticed that it's not as heavy feeling/sounding even after adjusting the Sub Audio.I know there is nothing wrong with my system, but I do feel like Trueplay does dampen the bass the Subs output.Is this normal behavior and do I need to adjust the bass level in the EQ along with the Sub Aduio settings?

I currently have following setup:Playbase, Sub, 2x Play 3 for movie and music. All speakers combined to a surround set.I want to change the old play 3 with new 2 x Sonos Five for better sound for music. And I want to use these speaker as well as surround speakers in the rear of the room.That means all Speakers (Playbase, Sub and Sonos Five as Sourround Set.The Sonos Five can play Ultra HD streamed from Amazon.Does I will have also this quality when I use the Speaker together with the other speakers? Or need I separat the Sonos Five from the other to get the full resolution.

I upgraded to a new TV that supports Dolby Atmos, eArc, etc. I often stream content through an Apple TV 4K which does a better job than the TV’s native apps or any of the Firestick products.Currently the set up is Playbar, Sub (gen 2) and two Play:1 surrounds. I ordered a Beam Gen 2 to replace the Playbar to take advantage of Atmos content. (Sorry, Arc, but your price and mounting system made you impractical for my setup.) Question 1: Playing music via my Apple TV seems to be the only way to get Atmos/Spatial music into the system. I’m fine with that for the moment. Right now when playing TV content it automatically goes to speech enhancement mode, something I absolutely want when watch video content. So this comes on automatically when playing music via Apple TV. Does this impact music audio and how? Will I have to remember to turn speech enhancement on and off manually to take best advantage? Question 2: Since I still love my Playbar, I’m thinking of putting it in a large room (no TV

Our old computer system (iMac G5 2014) was hosting our music library which was running two Sonos Play 5 (get 1) speakers without issues. Each speaker had a unique name, and I was able (via the controller) to turn each speaker on and off individually.That computer died a few months ago. I went to hook up this same system to a different mac (Mac Mini 2017 vintage), and after a few tries got the system working, but with only one of the two speakers. When I open the controller interface (I updated the software upon moving the system to the new computer), the option of adding/selecting each individual speaker no longer exists. Instead, the only addressable option is a group name I had given the two speakers.So, how do I reconnect the second speaker into the system?

I recently removed my Sonos Arc/Sub/One SL system from my TV Room and installed a Sony audio system on my Sony TV. I preferred the Sonos system so after a couple of days I removed the Sony audio system and I installed back the Sonos. But the problem now is that the Sonos sound is badly affected. Bass is boomy both from the Arc and the Sub and there are screeching, harsh sounds from the rear speakers.  Only other change I made is I installed EU plug to UK plug adapters on the end of the power cables. In Cyprus where I live power plugs/sockets are the same as in the UK but for some reason Sonos ships its products with EU plugs. Before I plugged the EU plugs (2 pin) in the 3 pin sockets but I thought it was better to use an adapter now. What can I do to fix this? I did the TV setup in the Sonos App but still no change. I thought of resetting the TV and the Sonos speakers too but I would like to hear from someone on this forum first.

Je m’explique : j’ai configuré mes sonos one en paire puisqu’elles sont dans le salon et dès lors que j’écoute la musique ou que je fais fonctionner ma télé au travers de mon Apple TV, une enceinte fonctionne mais pas l’autre. Dans ce cas, je suis obligée de supprimer la paire et la reconfigurer systématiquement. Parfois même, l’enceinte ne fonctionne plus en plein milieu d’un film ou autre. Et je dois refaire ce même mécanisme pour que ça fonctionne.Pour votre info : elles sont connectées au wifi (j’ai la fibre) Auriez vous une solution pour résoudre mon problème, svp ? Par avance, merci ! I have an Arc, 2xOne speakers & sub which havent been working for a while now. Im waiting for a long ethernet cable to arrive so that i can try and use that to connect to arc and see if it works. Ive spent about 200 million hours on the phone with sonos support and cant get this working.  I have an Orbi router that came with my new ISP.  When i log into the router it seems as though the Sonos system has got a 10.10… IP address and the rest of devices connected have 192.168…. Sonos support seems to think this is causing the issues as the speakers cant communicate and are therefore not showing on the app. But they dont have a solution as to how to fix it. Can anyone help?

How can I disable the Sonos iPhone app haptics (volume slider) without disabling haptics globally in the iPhone settings? If no control exists, please add it. 

Hi - Has anyone successfully group a stereo pair of Play 1s in the same room as the Connect? I have a Connect set up and a stereo pair of Play 1s set up, but the S1 app won't let me have them be in the same room. If I select "Porch" for one of them and then attempt to set the same room for the other, "Porch 2" is then listed in the room choices and not just "Porch." Arrgggghhh!

I just replaced my Playbar with a Bean Gen 2 in my home theater. Everything is working great. Getting Dolby Atmos with spatial effect when listening to music via my Apple TV and Atmos video content. However, I can’t get the Apple TV remote to operate correctly. It turns the volume up and down for the Beam (plus connected sub and surrounds). But if I add other speaker groups in other rooms, only the volume of the Beam group changes.I also use a Logitech Harmony remote and that adjust the volume of all speakers as it should. When I had the Playbar the Apple TV remote also controlled all grouped speakers. I must be missing some setting somewhere but can’t figure it out. Help please!

On Jul 10th I placed an order on the sonos website for the “Immersive Set with Arc” package and a 2nd subwoofer. Neither appeared backorder and even now on their website they appear in stock. I did get expedited shipping.I did not create an account before the order and I used paypal to checkout.It has now been 5 business days, paypal shows the payment as complete, the  money came out of my account instantly and I have 0 communication from sonos about my order. ( Besides my account confirmation email)After the order was confirmed the website asked me to create an account, i did and the order does not show up under that accounts order history.I contacted support via the web chat and apparently they don’t have access to order information?!Do I rally need to call in to get this resolved or is there someone that can look into this for me? 10am-7pm is very inconvenient for me. For a product with such a premium price tag I had hoped for better support.

I have a sonos one speaker which had become temperamental to connect to, so I reset it.  Since then I’ve been able to connect, but the status light has continued to cycle through a series of colours.  It’s being doing so for about 18 hours now, with the cycle being: Green: 6 seconds flashingWhite: 6 seconds solidRed: 6 seconds solid Orange: 6 seconds solid Any ideas what might be happening?

I’m dredging up what seems like an older topic, but one with conflicting answers out there--connecting Sonos to an iTunes database on a Sinology NAS.A few months ago, my Sonos system stopped connecting to my iTunes database, hosted on a Synology NAS with their latest DSM software. I'm not sure if the problem started with an update to the Synology’s DSM, or something else. I deleted and re-added the library, but to no avail. It’s odd, the library indexes, but whenever I try to play a song it says that the file cannot be found. I did some initial online research, and saw that there--at least previously--had been issues because Sonos would only work with SMB1. But then I saw other posts that suggested the problem had been solved.Fast forward a few months, and I finally had the time today to call Synology support. After two calls, nothing solved, second tech said they’d call me back in five minutes but never did.First tech had me change settings to permit SMB1 communications, despite dire

I just moved into a new home, the previous owners left a AV system with in wall speakers connected to a receiver. I own a Sonos amp from my previous home, can I use this to connect the receiver to Sonos? I understand that this is usually done using a port but I am wondering if I can use the existing component which I own instead of buying a new product Thanks for your help!

Replaced our WiFi router with a new one. Same network name, same password. Google Nest reconnected fine. Not Sonos, tho. Sonos app showed the “Fix it” message. Tapped through, and started the “Update your system’s network settings” process. First time, the app just crashed midway through. Started it again, and it failed midway through. Third time now, and the app just hangs (going on 15 min) on the screen that says 2-3 minute process.
