Hello all, I know this question has been asked in a variety of ways, but I can’t seem to find my exact answer.  I’ve listed the components of my system below: Sony Bravia x950HApple TV 4kPlaybarSonos Sub I have the apple TV going into the Bravia via HDMI.  Optical out to the playbar and wirelessly connected sub.  No problem with this setup to date.I recently moved into a location that has built in rear speakers that I would like to connect to this system as dedicated rears.  It seems I can purchase the Amp to accomplish this.  I have 2 questions: 1.)  Will I notice any latency in connecting the rear speakers with the Amp?  If so, is there a way to avoid this with my current setup?2.)  What would be the best way to setup?In my mind, I would just add the Amp wirelessly to the group.  However, I have access to all the “guts” very easily, meaning, the location of the amp can connect to the same ethernet as the Playbar, and I also have access to the HDMI-arc from the TV or apple TV if neede

I have a Sonos Amp connected to my Xfi router’s LAN port via ethernet, thus putting my entire Sonos system in a wired mode.   It’s worked flawlessly since I installed it a few weeks ago.   Yesterday I connected an AppleTV and a Samsung television to two more of the router’s LAN ports for streaming stability.   When I did that, my Sonos music started cutting out every 4.5 seconds and it happened continuously so long as EITHER of those devices was connected to the router.   I tried removing the TV connection and the music still cut in and out.   Then I reconnected the TV and removed the AppleTV and got the same result.   The idea was to prove whether it was the AppleTV or the Samsung television, but alas they both cause the same problem.    When I disconnected both devices from the router, the music played perfectly again.Please note that there is NO interaction between the television/AppleTV and the Sonos system.   For instance, the TV audio plays out of its on board speakers, not throu

Just last night, I thought… Sonos has been stable for eight days. Unprecedented!Then today, it stopped playing Playlists. It would have trouble adding to the queue, and then when it did add, it would play 20 seconds of a song and skip forward.It would not update the music library.So I deleted the Library and tried re-adding.It gave me the above error message, so I added the IRPStackSize key as directed in the above message. (I did not have that in my registry, but remember everything was pretty close to OK for a week).I cut my Library folder down to just a few titles, and still get this message. I tried adding from my Android, and got the 900 error - which references back to “Server Stack”.It’s a 4 TB drive, and the total diskspace used is 178 GB.  Ay ay ay.

My daughter likes to put her hand on the actual subwoofer speakers while a song plays with big bass. Could that potentially damage the sub or is that okay? We have a Sonos Sub Mini.

I’m using the latest version of the Sonos app on my iPad and my iPhone. My Sonos system is up to date as well. I’m logged into my Sonos account on the app. I have Apple Music as my main source, but also Amazon Music. If I search for an artist, like CAIN and from Apple Music choose the station, “CAIN & Similar Artists Station”. It plays just fine and like it should. If I come back another day and select that choice from the list of Recent Searches within the Sonos app, it always shows “No results” or doesn’t even show Apple Music as an option. If I then delete everything and just search for “CAIN” and then select stations, the “CAIN & Similar Artists Station” appears as available and under Apple Music.I don’t understand why a recent search wouldn’t bring up the exact same results as what I originally selected for that search. Has anyone noticed that the SiriusXM “service” added to the Sonos app doesn’t have all of the channels that Sirius offers in it’s own app? Specifically I don’t see any of the several DEEP CUTS channels that Sirius offers.

Ever since updating the app on ios (iphone 12), whe i touch/tap the volume and it makes a significant jump down in volume without me sliding it.  For instance, I am listening at a volume of 20 and want to adjust it upwards a bit,. I tap on the volume and it immediately jumps down to a volume of 14.  What gives here?  This is not a one time thing , it is now happening constantly , on all my sonos speakers. starting to get pretty annoying

I am having issue connecting my Sonos One to my new router wifi. Anyone can share how to fix the issue?

Now that my Fives arrived and successfully paired and grouped with my Sub & PlayBase (TV Room) I put my Ones in the garage repaired and sounding good. Now my Play 1’s are looking for a new room. Can I keep them paired and put them in the same room as my other 2 Play1’s (paired)? So I would have a total of 4 Play1’s (2 paired) in the room. And how would it sound? 

I have an older somos amp I want to use as surrounds. Can I use the sonos arc with the s1 app? 

Can I use sonos roam as smart home speaker like echo or Google nest?And does it support zigbee or z wave protocols to connect smart home gudgets or only wifi? 

- Which sonos smaller speaker can I pair with it to move around the house?? I don't want an additional Five 

While you can launch lossless music via the Sonos app (ie Amazon Music Unlimited), I’ve yet to see a Voice Assistant be able to do this yet (ie Alexa plays lower quality non-lossless music from Amazon Music Unlimited). I even thought Sonos Voice would solve this issue but it doesn’t. Has this been resolved yet in the last couple of months or so (on any combination of Voice Assistant and Music Service)?

Hi! I have arc and SL speakers for surround. now i bought sonos amp for use subwoofer via cabel. i connected they and it works if you gonna listen music form spotify with phone or laptop. but when im watching tv then remote will  controll only sonos arc and sl voices but dont controll subwoofer level via amp. have anybody same issue and ho to fix it? thank youKenno

Hi,  I use Synology Drive to mirror my MacBook music folder on my NAS - this folder includes both /iTunes Media/Music where all my music is stored and Previous iTunes Libraries/Custom Music Library.musiclibrary (where I think playlists, ratings etc are stored).I can access the music fine through the Sonos app, but the playlists don’t show up. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get them to show up?

I have a Playbar, sub, and two Play 1s. They are missing from my system. The Playbar is connected to my Roku TV. The Playbar and Sub play through the TV and when I press the play button on either one of the Play 1s they play as synced with the Playbar and sub. I have tried the recommended process for missing products and have not been successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is there no difference with speech enhancement on or off on Arc. Very dissapoing. I had a Bose 900 and it worked perfectly.

So I am listening to spotify with the tv on or off and I cannot control the volume with IR remote.This can’t be how its designed???I mean my guests do not have the app installed. and the buttons are not obvious way to control a sound bars sound.  

I have recently changed our home Wifi to TP Link Omada as our existing Wifi didnt reach around the home, I am planning on adding some managed switches too which I think will help with our sonos setup in the long run. I currently have a number of devices hard wired (wifi off), a boost and some on wifi (should be sonosnet) We have had performance issues on and off over the years and hard wiring some of the sonos appears to have fixed it, the office and nursery speakers are hard wired as they are the furthest from the Boost. Would an additional boost help? Since changed to Omada APs, our devices connected by WiFi arent able to play anything, the wired devices are still functioning, these are currently connected to dumb switches. Our network matrix is as below:  Any advice, suggestions are appreciated. I plan to move the location of the boost again as a first port of call. Does anyone use TP Link Omada and know the best settings to use?

I have a theatre room with a 7.1 set up. I usually have played the pausing game between the 2 directv receivers to get them close when hosting football games. I have a beam and ones in the other room that I use to broadcast the sound everywhere else in the house. Even by getting them synced close there can be an echo effect. I am wondering if I hook a port up to the av reciever will I be able to group it with the others and be able to have that audio play in the theatre room with everything else? Probably also boils down to if my av reciever will be able to play the audio of the port in, while keeping the picture playing from directv source. 

5.1 System Comprising off Beam Gen 1, Sub Gen 2 and 2 x Play 1 Very Recently when playing music or listening to radio my 5.1 system is dropping out intermittently. (never happened before).When source is TV, No drop outs.All units are running on OS S2, Release 14.18, Only using Wi Fi.If i turn off the sub and surrounds and only have the Beam Active i have no drop outs.When playing music or listening to radio on other speakers such as Sonos One (gen 1) either as single unit or stereo pairs i have no drop outs.Is there any recent issues with Surround Sound Systems related to Firmware Updates been reported ?

I recently bought 6 Sonos One SL speakers. I have the v2 app on an ipad. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the sound quality. However, I have an issue with group volume control. If I significantly increase volume for the living room speakers using the slider, after a minute or two if I look at the volume sliders I find that the living room volume will have lowered back to where the other speakers were. Why don’t they keep their setting? Any ideas?
