When I switch my Sonos  from tv to anything else, it looses the network connection and all 5 pieces of my system need to be reinstalled. And it looses the connection to the television. Today I can’t even do that. I really wish I hadn’t invested in Sonos. Something is always wrong with it. 

I have a Sonos 1 that is on my network with an IP. Additionally, I’m able to ping the Sonos device using the command prompt.However, the only way I can connect to this speaker to play sound is via Bluetooth from my Windows PC. How can I use my network connection to the device to play sound? Basically use it as a network-controlled speaker.

I have a Playbar connected via optical to my Sony KD-55XH905.Until recently I used my SkyQ remote to control the sound on my TV but I have cancelled my subscription and have to send back the Sky equipment.This forces me to use the Sony remote but although the TV shows the remote responding (volume bar appears on screen going up/down), the Playbar does not respond.I have gone through troubleshooting in the iOS app but it says it cannot find a response from the remote.Does anyone have any ideas?

The TV remote still works and the light blinks on the sonos if I adjust the volume but then sound is not working. Sometimes it will start working again and other times it does not. The setting for audio is the beam, it is not set up automatically choose audio. The connection is HDMI. I was told from the prior owner this was an issue he had with the beam and his TV. is there something I can do to fix this issue? All products are up to date. All products were have been power cycled. There are no other products connected to the TV. the beam doesn’t seem to give me any issues when I use music through the sonos app.

We have a system with a Play:1, Play:3 and Connect. All are in a single group.Until recently everything worked fine but in the last few weeks the Connect has started playing up. Even though the app is showing that music is still playing on the Connect and there is sound coming from the other two, the music stops on the system connected to the Connect.Removing the Connect from the group and adding it back in resolves the problem temporarily. I don't know how long the fix lasts, we normally find the problem has returned the following day but today it actually happened while in use.Has anybody else had this and found a solution?Thanks    

Had Playbar and the volume at 15 was very loud. My Arc.. I have to put up to 30-35 .. help.. 

Audio coming out of the Connect has half a second time lag vis a vis the other Sonos devices (Move, Beam and Playbar). Any comments or suggestions on what could be the problem or a way to deal with it are welcome. Cheers

I have 22 Sonos Ones and am considering a Sonos Ray or Beam soundbar.  Can the TV sound playing through one of these devices be sent out to the other speakers around the house?

Hey,I’ve a newborn son that really loves sleeping on me so I’ve to adjust my Sonos sound a lot due to inconsistent volume even with night mode on.I’ve noticed that when adjusting the sound for my Sonos playbase through the Sonos app it also adjust my iPhone volume, going from no sound to actually have a lot of sound. So when I start looking through other apps now they start blasting sound almost waking my son up.  Has anyone else noticed this as well or maybe there is a setting that I can tweak so it doesn’t adjust both my iPhone and my Sonos? content on the tv is coming through Apple TV apps, if that helps. Adding video of the problem.https://youtube.com/shorts/LkXYmr4g9Cw?feature=share

Really frustrating issue. Set up is Apple TV 4K to Sony Bravia TV, with eARC to Sonos arc. Every time I listen to something with Dolby Atmos, ~30s in there’s a loud pop and then no audio until I reboot everything. Anyone else with a similar setup and no issues want to share their settings? Based on how long this issue goes back it seems like something Sonos would really want to fix. I’ve had multiple couples/friends that were about to pull the trigger and buy a Sonos system after seeing how well it plays music throughout the house that ultimately decided to go with something else after sitting through a movie cycle of start movie with atmos, get 30s in, startling pop, then no audio, turn off and repeat x3, give up and watch something else. 

My system is lagging horribly but only when I play music

A connection to Amazon Music is lost.There is no problem with my Wifi and the app and speakers are up to date. All other services seem to work fine and also Amazon Music app plays and on the web, but not on my Sonos Move or Play1.

Hello, I have 2 Sonos 5 placed on each side of the TV to listen to music and I just bought a Sonos Ray.I configured my 2 Sonos Five in surround in the app which produces very good sound for movies withe the Ray.The question I ask myself is for the music. When I listen music, the sound comes out of the 3 (it's normal) and I was wondering if that didn't lower the sound quality because the Ray is less powerful than the 5?2nd question: is it possible to have the 3 grouped and create another room where there were only the 2 Sonos five grouped in stereo without the Sonos Ray?thank you

I was in chat with Sonos today trying to trouble shoot my loss of connection of S2 app.  I had 2 systems running, S1 app for older products and Sonos (S2) app for newer.  S1 is connected via hard wire.  S2 was not.  S2 stopped working.  Rep said Verizon Fios router blocks Sonos and that I would need to hardwire a sonos product to the router.  Does anyone else have Fios and have connection issues?  Would love to hear before I spend more hours with another company.  Thanks 

My One SL surrounds and Sub Mini no longer work after 14.18. I've had Arc and surrounds for almost a year without issue, and got the Sub Mini last week. Trueplay gives me a "lost speaker" error as well. The One SLs work individually and also in a stereo pair. Things I've tried…- Hard wiring Ethernet - Router reboots (Nest Wifi)- Assigned IPs for all Sonos products- Speaker reboots - Factory resets of everything, router included- Unpairing, repairing- Called Sonos support on 2 occasions One strange thing is that when playing music while surrounds are paired, the surrounds don't work but then suddenly work for half a second, then goes quiet again. Happens about once every 10 minutes. There's also a solo Beam in another room but I doubt that's causing any issues. I have no idea what to try any more. Open to any ideas or suggestions. Has Sonos removed or changed where they showed release notes on updates? I don’t see the section anymore.

Ever since I implemented Sonos voice control, Alexa no longer works. Sonos voice control is inadequate, in my opinion, so I would really like to reactivate Alexa.is Alexa permanently inoperable after you implement Sonos voice?Alexa will repeat my command, but no music will play.

I have a Sonos Arc and want to go surround.Will the Sonos Mini sub and speaker set work with my Arc? It’s a smallish room.

Sonos was working perfectly!  Then we went away for 3 weeks. When we came back:  I can ask Alexa questions etc etc , but when I ask for music example ‘Play BBC Radio 2’ it responds saying ‘Playing BBC Radio 2 from BBC sounds’ but nothing plays , Same request ‘Play Virgin Radio’ responds ‘Saying playing Virgin Radio from TuneIn Radio’ but nothing comes out of the speaker. -Also Amazon Music does not work, when asking ‘Play 90’s music’ response i get is ‘first enable the skill for the Sonos beam in the Alexa App and then discover devices’  this I think is the problem and what devices is it trying to discover ?   I also have the sonos beam in my TV room for the last year and it is also doing the same. When I manually play songs from the SONOS APP….it plays beautifully.  But we got it because it could play our favorite RADIO stations or songs upon request.  It no longer does that.  It keeps doing as described in the second paragraph below.  

On my MacBook Pro it is saying there is a Sonos update available. When I do it I get an error message.    An Unexpected error occurred. Please try again.
