Hi, I have my main router in my basement. I have a mesh system throughout the house as well. For some reason my Sonos devices pick and choose which router they want to connect to almost every day and very randomly. How can I stop this from happening? 

Who knows exactly what the grey dots are under each named room that were not there before 14.18 update..so many people asking on fb and no one knows ..everyonejust throwing out guesses. 

I have a surround set up in my living room (arc, sub 2x play 1) and ever since yesterday when I updated to 14.18, I’m having trouble with audio cutting out whilst watching on my Apple TV. It’s connected via LG C1 via eARC. Hasn’t happened before but I can replicate it on two YouTube short videos - it cuts out after 6-7 seconds (always at the same place) and then doesn’t return for the rest of the video.It’s not happening on my laptop/iPad etc so its certainly Sonos related. heres one of the videos:  Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct. 

Hi, I have 2 Sonos Play:5 (gen 1)I have tried resetting both today, the first worked as advised.The second system, which is exactly the same, will not reset despite following all advice found online. I have tried to hold down the mute button while plugging in the power cable and holding as worked for the other speaker but this does not appear to work.Please could you advise? thanks,Sam

I have the following 3 “rooms” in my house:Deck - Sonos Amp connected to two outdoor speakers (I can use Airplay to connect to the Deck) Living Room - Sonos Five (I can use Airplay to connect to the Sonos Five) Family Room - ~5 year old Sonos Playbar, two Sonos One SLs surrounds, and Sonos Sub.  This is the “home theater”. While the SLs are Airplay compatible, since the Playbar is NOT, and is the “main” speaker, unfortunately I cannot get Airplay in this room. Bonus “Room” - I have a Sonos Roam as well Besides replacing the Playbar with a Playbase or buying an additional Sonos Port, any “hack” I can use to get Airplay in the Family Room, but not lose the surround sound setup.  Thank you 

I have a play:1 that runs all day, then when i press the play/pause button it will stop. Then if i press play a few ours later nothing happens, then i go to the app and when the button it press it comes up with “Unable to Connect” i then have to load up the app and press play through there. 

Hi,since the last software update Sonos is not stopping anymore. If I press stop on iOS or Mac software, it pauses for a second but then reconnects and plays again. Same with hardware button.Experienced on Play:1, One, ROAM and Beam. And with Sirius XM or TuneIn Radio stream. Did not test with other speakers or streaming sources.Only way to fix it is mute volume or remove/ungroup speaker. 

Hello everyone in this community.I have uploaded several flac ripped discs to my iBroadcast account but when I play them from the SONOS app, it always gives me the message ['Song Name' could not be played, the song was not encoded correctly]. On the other hand, if I play those same Flac files from the iBroadcast application or I upload them to the Plex server that I have on my local network, then they reproduce without any problem.Anybody knows about this, I have to solve it because I still have some old speakers without airplay and I have no choice but to use the SONOS application with these speakers.

Hello,Is it possible to use Google Assistant of Sonos One 2 gen in Portugal?

A few hours ago I updated to Version 14.18 via my iPhone XR; it took 2 tries. My system is a Boost, Office (2 Ones gen2), Move and TV (Beam gen 2 & 2 Ones gen 1 as surrounds). Everything showed as updated and seemed to work well.  A few hours later I wanted to use my wife’s iPhone 13 to control the TV and was prompted to update on her device.  That took 4 tries, but everything finally showed as 14.18.  An hour after that, opened my MacBook Air to check a photo album while watching TV (using the Beam and surrounds) and was prompted to update to 14.18 on my Mac.  So, my question is - does every device used to access the Sonos App ( 2 iPhones, a Mac and an iPad) need to be individually updated? I do not recollect going thru all these device by device updates previously.  Thx

I’m so frustrated! I just got a brand new LG OLED B2 and a brand new Sonos arc and my tv cannot pair of via the sonos arc via Bluetooth or hdmi.  ive done all the unplug and replug and am so frustrated that I spend this much and it is even this much of a headache.  Can someone help me before I return

I’m looking to buy the Sonos Arc for my Sony A1E 65 Inch Oled and I’m curious as to whether or not I will be experiencing true Dolby atmos given the hardware limitations of my tv. Apparently, Dolby Atmos requires an eARC input, however, I’ve heard from a few sources that you can still get Dolby Atmos with the ARC input via DD+ conversion. Is this setup possible? If not, is there any way I can remedy this situation with any external devices such as a dedicated receiver? Thanks!

Listening to music today post 14.8 in my cabin one the Play 5 and sub and wondered what had happened.  Had tru4eplay on and it normally sounds fantastic.  Now there is no bass at all.  Turned the sub up to level 6 and still barely any bass.  Then turned off the sub and the bass returned!  How does that work? Re-ran trueplay and no difference.  So basically the sub is now useless and tuning it on turns off the bass.   Diagnostic  1161840239.

I have a sonos beam gen 1 will this work for surround sound if I add 2 sonos one sl’s

I have the iPad Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max…does it really make a difference when doing trueplay? I’ve read a couple of comments that the iPad is a better choice but I don’t know how one would really know if it wasn’t measured in some way to compare.

When I go to “add surrounds” it says I need a compatible product, for some reason it is not seeing them. They used to be paired but I needed to factory reset everything. 

Since latest Windows app update, my PC running Windows 11 can not control volume on any of my Sonos speakers.   Off-on and station selection are OK.

Hi there,I have 2x Play1 speakers, currently connected to and working on a WiFi network (WiFi disk).However, I want to connect the speakers direct to the router WiFi - a second trusted WiFi network.I have gone through the set up wizard many times via my Android Samsung smartphone. The S2 App does not manage to detect either of my Sonos speakers.I have tried a reboot of the speakers. And a reboot of the disk and router - just a switch on / off again. But no joy.Any suggestions before I consider a factory reset?Thanks

I'm getting low quality album art when playing music from Spotify using the Sonos interface (using the connected Spotify account)  But quality is fine when I use Spotify's interface to 'play on speaker' and select my Sonos.  This is driving me away from using the Sonos app.   

Hello,I have a Beam Gen 1 that connects perfectly fine with my LG OLED from 2017.I just got a Beam Gen 2 and when I connect it to the same LG OLED, I get an error message saying HDMI eArc not detected. My TV also doesn’t detect anything is plugged into the eArc port when the Beam Gen 2 is connectedHowever, when I swapped it back to the Beam Gen 1, everything works fine with the HDMI eArc (including the tv noticing something is plugged in). Do I just have a bad Beam Gen 2 or is there something else that might be going on? Thanks. jkl

I've read everything I can find re my question but am still unsure of what is possible.  I want to buy an Epson LS11000 cinema projector that has an eARC port and connect it to my Sonos Arc and use Apple TV4k as my streaming device.  Is that possible or do I need to buy a splitter such as the HDFury Arcana in order to use the soundbar?  Or do I need to return my Arc/One’s and get a different sound system?

I’ve been struggling with this issue for several days. Speakers in our system have been appearing and disappearing from the iOS app on my iPhone 14. At first, it was one specific Play:1 that kept disappearing from the iOS app. I noticed that if I manually started it (by pressing the play button on top of the unit), it would appear shortly afterwards in the iOS app and I could control it in there. As of the last 24 hours, the issue has worsened; now my iOS app will often say it can’t find the Sonos network at all. Sometimes it will find it, letting me browse my speakers… and then abruptly lose connectivity to all speakers! I notice that the Sonos app on my Windows PC doesn’t have this problem. Interestingly, if I start music on one speaker from Windows, that speaker will then show-up in my iOS app, almost like the speaker has woken-up.My wifi network has not changed any time recently. My iPhone and Sonos are on the same wifi network; the signal is clear and consistent. No other devices

Hi All -  I know this question has been asked before, but my searches aren’t leading me in the right direction. Called customer support today and think I was mislead.  I have two extra play 1 speakers I’d like to set up at our second home (vacation rental when we aren’t there). I’d like guests to be able to use it also.  I was told I could create another account under my existing Sonos (I have the S2 app). When I tried to open my app, I couldn’t add any network since I was not on my home wifi.  How exactly do I set this up? Am I wrong to think guests will be able to find my Sonos speakers if they log in their account, but under the same WiFi? how do I set these two play 1 speakers up?

Our Sonos is connected to the TV via IR cable. When we turn on the sound to the whole system it starts cutting out and gets choppy. When it is just the sound bar there is no issue. Ive replaced the IR cable, reset the Sonos, and reset the actual soundbar.
