Why do powered off devices display?

Only the Roams show this behaviour.   Both powered off with the three chime feedback.  Are they actually powered off or not?

The red dot and “offline” status means it has been powered off. If it remains powered off, after about 72 hours the device will disappear from the list until it is powered on again.

I think the red dot and the “Offline” status may be a clue.

Yes, but other devices when off disappear from the listing.  And why clutter the display with spanners?!

... and after 72 hours the 2 Roams finally disappeared from the listing (just as you said).  It would be nice to have a setting to reduce this 'wait' time
