Amp with (2) pairs of speakers + Arc + One SL's + Sub

I currently have the Arc + Sub + One SL’s in my living room. Recently picked up the Amp. I would like to run (2) pairs of speakers off of the Amp. One set in the garage and one set out on the deck. Plan on using a switch. My question is - when I set up the Amp and added it, the pair of speakers I had connected to the amp started playing the music I selected. But the TV audio stopped playing on the Arc. That being said, can I run audio to the deck / garage speakers while playing a movie / watching TV on the Arc in the living room? I don’t have the Amp connected to the TV. As I don’t need or want it for anything video. Just want a music source in those other areas of the house. But won’t want to stop someone from watching a movie or TV in the living room.

The Amp is a completely different zone than the Arc. Streaming music on the Amp will not interfere with the TV audio playing out of the Arc setup.

Thanks - I’m assuming I added it incorrectly or something as to why my audio cut out from the TV. I’ll go back and try again. I had thought I could run a different music source on the other speakers but keep the main TV running off the Arc. Thanks for the reply.
