I have Arc  + 2 Sonos One Sl as rear speakers + Sub Woofer (Gen 3).When listening to music via Airplay or Radio, can I turn off ARC and use 2 Sonos One Sl + Sub to listen in stereo mode?

Seen this posted a lot. Nothing recent. Using my old Sonos connect (S2 compatible). Just updated to an Era 100 in hopes it was just old hardware. Still cutting out. Diagnostic 1637704499. Thanks!

I have been trying to connect my play base to the S2 since being out of the country travelling. It is flashing green but is not discoverable on either app. This seems to be a problem with Playbases having looked at threads. Is there a fix now? 

I recently replaced all my HomePods with the new Era 100 and 300 speakers. For the most part, everything is better… except audio normalisation. I found some ancient threads on this issue (and also on Spotify forums), so I know I’m not imagining things. I use Spotify but I believe it also happens with Apple Music.So it’s great not to have to struggle with AirPlay and a whole host of other volume issues that now the lack of normalisation is really the biggest complaint I have now. It’s annoying to have to adjust volume from time to time when playing a varied playlist. When using Spotify over AirPlay, it works fine. Spotify over Spotify Connect doesn’t work right.I realise this is probably a Spotify issue but perhaps you could put some pressure on them to do whatever they need to do. It’s a feature music players have had since the early 2000s in my recollection (SoundCheck in Apple iTunes).CheersChris

Hi all,Maybe not the best place to ask this but I’m having problems with my arc and my LG C1 using the magic remote. It used to work fine but since I changed my wall mount I can’t seem to get the volume to work properly. I think it’s because in Universal Control Settings the audio is set to is set to headphones. For the life of me I can’t seem to change it to say eArc. Anyone know how to change that or offer some screen shots of your settings?Even the Sonos app doesn’t connect to the tv anymore or allow for me to connect to the magic remote.  

Hi, I just bought the Pro-Ject turntable and ERA 100 speaker. The black USB C cable was out of stock so I purchased one from Amazon. The system won’t connect the Line-In. I bought a second cable; still won’t connect. Sonos support told me that only their cable would work. Has anyone else experienced this?

Just successfully added two ERA 300s to my bedroom which had an ARC associated with a new Samsung TV and new Apple TV. Everything began marvelously.The rest of my home has wired and wireless Sonos products that are all compatible with Sonos 2.Then on playback of iTunes or Amazon selections I get skipping and “song is not encoded correctly” errors.Playback of Tunein radio stations is not interrupted on any of my Sonos devices.My WiFi coverage is excellent but I did try rebooting the router and the Boost. Still getting the same error messages.

I have two Sonos Play1 speakers and they have worked fine for over a year. Today they won’t group. I can play music through either one, I can play two different things through them simultaneously, but they will not play from the same source at the same time. I have held the play/pause button down and the music will start to play, but then the other speaker shuts off. Please help, this is quite frustrating.

I cannot figure out why my Sonos 1 is “unable to connect to Sonos”.  I had no problems connecting to Sonos before two days ago when spotify connectivity encountered a problem in the Sonos app.  My router and network have not changed, my router shows a great 2.4 ghz signal strength for my Sonos 1.   I tried resetting my Sonos 1 with initial connectivity but then I see “unable to connect to Sonos” error message with a blank screen on my app.  When I unplug and replug my Sonos 1 in my app finds it with internet connectivity, but then it losses it.  Would a VPN affect connectivity?  This has never been a problem in the past.  My router sends all of my internet communication through a VPN.  I even tried having my Sonos 1 be an exception routing it through my WAN without resolving this issue.Please help, thanks. 

Android S2 Sonos app crashes on Samsung phone and Lenovo Android tablet.Android reports ‘this app crashed because it has a bug’ immediately after tapping ‘System’ from the Settings menu.Both Android OS and Sonos app have gone thru several updates since this issue started last summer.The latest Sonos version 15.2 did not fix the issue.On the tablet, if I uninstall/reinstall Sonos the app will let me tap System without crashing one time only.  Then, to access System again, I need to uninstall/reinstall the Sonos app. Then I can tap System without a crash for one time again, and the cycle repeats.On the phone, the crash occurs whether or not I uninstall/reinstall. I cannot access System even one time from the phone.This behavior seems like a giant clue. Does anyone know of a fix?

Hi I owns a system composed by a sonos arc and two sonos one SL distributed in different roomas. In all of the i have the same problem. I play music from my Android mobile (Galaxy S23 Ultra). I don´t use steaming services, I have de music as mp3 files into the mobile. The problem is that everytime the mobile goes to sleep continuous reproducing music for a time and then interrup it until I unblock the phone and then reconects automatically.I have check into the mobile the configuration for the battery / second plane and I have added Sonos App between the apps without suspension but still have the same problem.Any idea about how to configure the mobile in the right way?

I have soundbar Ray and 2xEra100. I set them as a surrounds but for listening music I want hear only stereo from era100. Is it possible to turn off Ray and play only stereo from Era100 ? I know there is an option to set them +15, but the Ray still plays

Hi all,Am contemplating upgrading to a Sonos home theatre set up. The plan is to get a Beam and two Era100s.I have a turntable with built in preamp and want to connect to the system. I’ve seen that I can connect to an Era100 with line-in but that the Era100 cannot be used as part of the home theatre set up.Its unclear if this is permanently or does it mean it switches when the source changes?Ideally, I would like the home theatre set up to link to phone/tv etc most of the time but when I use the turntable, the whole set up will switch to play from that source (via line in). Is this possible?Hope that makes sense, all help appreciated.Thanks!

10 year old system but plugged in a new router from by a few mo the ago and all sonos products lost.  Tried resetting and reinstall sonos- to no avsil Sometime sees is network to connect to, but doesn't work  Please advise as otherwise will need to get all new products 

Hi All. I currently have a stereo pair of 8 year old play 1s in the kitchen I want to upgrade. I’m trying to figure out if I was best off replacing them with a pair of Era 100 or a single Era 300. Would be great to hear from people who use a single Era 300. 

Hi. I am new to Sonos, and just installed my new Sonos AMP at home.However, it seems I can’t add the Spotify service since it does not appear on the services list.I read the other threads here, and my address is set in my profile, and it is in the US.After updating the profile, I restarted the IOS app, but still can’t find the Spotify service on the list.Any ideas ? 

I've got two sonos One set up as stereo in my lounge. I mostly listen to music and radio, at times watch movies on my TV. Would it be better idea to buy Sonos Beam Gen 2 to link with my 2x Sonos One’s. Or to buy Sonos Era 300.In other words would the Beam coupled with 2 One’s give me a better sound solution (especially for music) than just having the Era 300 (or Era 300 coupled with 2x One's in the lounge).And how would these two options compare in terms of Dolby Atmos. 

HiAnyone knows hos to wire up an old Connect Gen 1 to a set of BeoLab 2500 Active Loudspeakers.Each speaker can only have a black 5 pin round connecter for input and I don´t know how to get from this to the white and red female single pin connecter socket on the Connect Gen 1.I guess I need some kind of special cable for this and hope someone can help me figure out what I need to buy ?Would this setup even work for streaming music from my Sonos 1 App ?/Lars

Will a beam connected via HDMI to a tv with  two Sonos ones in a stereo pair connected to the Beam play TV sound through all 3 devices or will it only come through the beam as that is the only direct connection to the TV ?Ive got a pair of Sonos ones currently and as there is no option to use them as TV speakers, im currently using an Apple TV and using them via airplay but even that still some apps don't support airplay and sound only works through TV speakers so was wonder if I got a beam with that be able to use all 3 and have TV sound coming from the lot 

Hi all, hoping for some help. Just set up a Roam and authorised the google assistant etc. However, when I try to use the voice function to play a radio station, I.e. Radio 2, TALKsport I get the message “sorry I can’t find what you asked for”. Probably an easy fix so hoping this can be sorted fairly quickly. Thanks

Anyone having problems with random disconnection of a sub after adding a new speaker?I had an Arc + Sub Mini in a living room, same location as strong wifi router, working fine for weeks. Added an Era 300 to another room this week, not set up as surrounds. Now after 2 hours of playing, the sub will randomly disconnect. App shows a red dot on the room, “Sub Mini - Not Connected.” Troubleshooting menu doesn’t work; can’t find the sub at all, as if it’s disappeared or powered off. I have to factory reset it, then reconnect it. Works fine for another hour or two, playing music with the Era and Arc, then disappears again, starting the factory reset process over. Never happened before adding the Era. No LED light when it disconnects, and my phone is within 10 feet when I’m trying unsuccessfully to reconnect. Anyone else? Thanks!

I have a BenQ W2700 connected to a Sonos Arc via HDMI. Most of the time I watch via Amazon TV Stick (the 4K version, if that matters) or via laptop (only with Sky X) connected with HDMI on streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney and Sky X. Unfortunately, I have the problem that every now and then the picture goes black, the sound stops, the projector then says something like "Searching Input" and the picture reappears after about 10 seconds and the sound reappears after about 30-45 seconds. The whole thing doesn't happen that often, I would say on average about 1-2 times per 4-5 hours of watching. Yesterday, however, I was watching something on Sky X with friends via my laptop and it really did happen every 20 minutes, which is of course not so much fun. The first 1-2 times the sound continued as described above, but after that the sound always jumped back to the laptop and I don't know if it's because of the Sky X app on MacOS, but I always have to restart Sky so that th

Hi, I have a BenQ x3000i projector connected to my Arc and I would like to control the volume using the remote.  However, it will not pair.  I have seen this issue on the forum previously, but the answer did not help.  Previously, The Arc will pair with my Firestick remote, but not the BenQ which is an IR remote.  So, I know that the Arc is capable of pairing through the projector, but not with this particular remote.  Any clues.  In the past, I have had no trouble pairing remotes, just this particular one.  Thank you for any help. John

Hi AllI have ordered a single Era 100 for my bedroom. I have many Sonos speakers already so hoping this new addition will be a good one.Has anyone else got just a single 100 and if so, how does it sound? I don’t have room for a pair so I’m hoping just the one will sound good 😁.
