I just setup my new Eros 300 and configured the Alexa skill.  My Alexa app says the Eros 300 speaker is not compatible with speaker groups.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Is there a workaround?

Hello, I come for an advice - does this setup for TV sound system (Dolby Atmos) makes sense to you (incl. 2x Amp)? Would you change anything? Size of the room is 5x6m but it is part of huge room incl. kitchen and dining room on the right side (total of +- 75m2). In-walls and In-ceilings are already installed, the rest I can adjust.Thank you!!

Hi,I recently lost all my products off the Sonos app. I have followed the instructions to reset the router, Wi-Fi and turn off all the products but it doesn’t seem to help.I also noticed that our iPhone that is still on iOS15 can still see them via the app.. but my iPad and iPhone on iOS 16 doesn’t.Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any suggestions?Thanks

Hello,I’ve had my Roam for about a year and it had been working well without issues. In the past couple of weeks it started to cut out whilst playing, and I had to press the back button to get it going again.As of this morning it appears to have completely reset itself, green light is flashing and the app saying I need to connect it to the Roam.I’m logged in on the app, but it cant find the device, saying Sonos not found, make sure I’m on the same WiFi etc which I am.Not really sure where to go from here. If it isn’t connected, then how does it know I’m not on the same WiFi? Doesn’t make much sense to me! I’ve gotten one step further, the app can see the Roam and prompts me to click to add the Roam to my system which I’ve done. It then says ‘Getting Roam ready’ but after about 30 seconds I still get the same message that it can’t find any Sonos products. Moderator edit - combined posts so topic is still “in need of reply”

Because the website just says ‘delete and re-install’. Does Sonos think this is an adequate solution? It’s not.

Hi, i have dropouts with my Sonos Arc when watching an Atmos Movie. The dropouts happen sometimes 2x in 10s and then sometimes once every other minute. But i have around 30-50 dropouts in a 45min episode which is obviously VERY annoying. I already tried the steps from the https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reduce-wireless-interference article. The system is up to date. I also created a diagnostic report (diagnostic number: 617792448). Can the sonos support maybe tell me what causes the dropouts? Thanks

Hi all. A newcomer to the forum. I much enjoyed stereo pair of Ones (Sec Gen) and still have them, albeit in their boxes.It is good news for Era 300 having access to Apple Music dolby atmos already. I am an Apple Music subscriber and really wish to see native support for Apple Music lossless (CD or higher quality) streaming on dedicated 2-channel stereo Sonos products like ERA 100. I am pretty sure there are many people out there wanting to see this happen. So my question is if that is possible in near future?

Hello,I am currently using Sonos AMP (current gen) to power a set of floor-standing Tower speakers.My home audio production studio (Yamaha monitors + KRK sub) is arranged in the same space as the TV system, and I’d like to find a way to send audio from AMP to that system without having to spend $400+ on a Port.Is there a method using a line level converter that I could send speaker level signal from AMP to my passive speakers, while also sending line level input to my active monitors?When purchasing Amp I was intending to use Amp’s line input to join the systems together, but the audio delay makes this method unusable.Any assistance / insights are appreciated. My Sonos play 5 2nd gen was working ok till we changed our router to shell energy, now it connects for 2 minutes then stops connection and blocks out the router to other devices around the home ?? I’ve got the new Sonos app and have reset router and Sonos speaker several times I’ve spoken to shell and changed channels from 11- to 6 with split 2.4 and 5g connections. Still a problem. Please help.!  🙏diagnostic no 987122246

Hello,We currently have the IKEA Symfonisk (Gen 2) bookshelf speakers as rear surrounds with our Beam G2. The Beam is connected via WiFi only (not Ethernet) so SonosNet shouldn’t be used.My question is, in this case, do the Symfonisk speakers just connect directly to my WiFi network? That’s what I’d guess is happening but the IP address that shows up in the Sonos app (under system) isn’t the same as what’s showing in my router management. I can’t find a matching IP address, in fact. Any info would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

We’re setting up a bunch of Sonos One SL units in a public space and are curious what, if any, theft prevention measures are available.Is there anything out there that will help lock these into place? Is there any way to “firmware lock” them so that they can’t be added to someone else’s network without our permission?Thanks so much!

Hi, title says it all, my home theater is in a big room (actually living room and tv room) and my couch is about in the middle of this room.I’m considering replacing the two ones SL by two era 300, but I’d much prefer them being mounted on the wall behind me rather than sitting on stands right behind my couch (cables, etc…)So my question is: is 3 meters too far away from my couch?More over, I’ll have to put them a bit higher than ears level otherwise there will be some obstacles in the way (table and chairs of my living room), will it still be all right for sound?There will be plenty of room around each of them though.Thanks in advance for your replies and insights about my questions!

Hi Guys, I need some help to do the right set up for my house currently under construction.I d like to use in ceiling sonos for most of the rooms + home cinema (in ceiling only) and rock speakers for outside. all linked to AMPs . Starting with the underground, i have a room where i d have 4 in-ceiling speakers + 1 AMP- see belowAll the AMPs would be in racks in a separate roomThen on the main floor I d have 2 inside zones: 1 for the Kitchen/living room in purple (1AMP) + 1 zone for the home cinema. We have two IKEA symphonic loudspeakers in our house. We have managed to connect both to my wife’s account. But one of them is in my office, and therefore I would like to have this registered on my account. I understand from other topics that I should do a factory reset, and connect it to my account.But, after I do a reset and install the sonos app, I only have the ability to set up a new system. When finding and connecting to my speaker, and I would like to log into my account in my app, it seems like the speaker is still connected to my wife’s account and I can only log into her account in my app.Is this because we are on the same wifi or that the factory reset is not enough to remove it from her account?

A recent update to the iOS app has given a new layout to ‘search’ with an ability to ‘switch to classic search’.The search results don’t show anything from ‘My Library’, neither results nor is it an option across the top where the other sources are. Is this a bug or how do i add my library to the searches. I can access my Music Library under the Browse function and search there but I prefer top be able to have all the search results in one place.

my sonos system works great.  the problem I’m having is trying to update the software on my wife’s IPhone.  Her iPad, my iPad and iPhone are already updated to rev 15.2 on the s2 app.Keep getting an error 1101 on her phone when trying to upgrade. HELP please BTW her iPhone is currently ver 14.2 if that helps thx Gord

I don’t know what to do, at least once a week the ios app (I am in ios 16) loses connection to my Beam and nothing works with any consistency to fix it. I always check for updates. I always turn phone off and on. I always unplug Beam and replug. i never have problems with my wifi, my router, my tv or macbook connections to anything including the beam. The bugginess is clearly only with the ios app. It’s super frustrating. I just ordered one of the new gen speakers to add to my room but now I am extra concerned the issues will be even worse. Is there ANY way to fix this or at least know a sure fire method to reconnect without wasting an hour effing around?
