Looking to purchase a singular Era 100 to link to my beam gen 2 for surround sound. Is this possible?  I saw something that said it had to be a pair of era 100s. 

My sub was paired to a Beam gen 1 but recently I had my doubts if it actually supported the Beam. Today I paired it with a new Arc and I come to the conclusion that it doesnt give any sound. In the Sonos-app it states the roomname + sub. I tried to remove it from my sytem and add it back, which did not help. There are no new updates. Anyone have an idea on how to solve this? 

Is there anyway to stop this? If you switch off automatic updates sonos starts slowly removing app functionality. First I noticed they stop you re-tuning true-play unless you update, now ive noticed they prevent me re-indexing my locally stored library. What is the point in having a pretend automatic updates option that cripples the apps functionality thereby forcing you to update regardless? 

How can i hear in Sonos One my audio files that I have stored in my iphone??? Is here any way to connect my iphone to Sonos like any other speaker device through Bluetooth?? 

I predominantly listen to music on Sonos and have an existing 2x Sonos One (Gen2). Considering that Sonos Sub Mini and Era300 are priced similar. Should I rather add the Sonos Sub Mini to my existing setup or get Era 300. It is for my small to mid sized lounge. Which should give me the best music experience?Thanks

Hi—we have a Sonos Move that is about 2+ years old.  We had it connected to wifi at our old location.  We recently moved to a new house in a remote location, with a different wifi network.  When we moved, we just unplugged the Move and brought it with us.  I’d like to connect it to our new network. I’ve tried using the Sonos app (S2) to connect the Move to the new network, and have followed the instructions, but no luck.  On the Sonos app, my account, system, and services are all greyed out.  I’ve checked and my iPad has an up to date, compatible OS.   Is there a way to fix this without having to call customer service?  I’ve seen reference to trying a wired Ethernet connection, but that is not accessible to us here.  Please be kind and clear…I’m an older person and not by any means a techie!  😊. Thanks for any help. 

How do I setup a TV to transmit to Sonos wirelessly instead os by cable?

After moving into my first apartment 2 years ago, i invested in getting a sonos system in every room after hearing how nice it is to have linked music throughout your living space. I bought 3 sonos SL1s, 2 beams, and sonos port. I use 2 of the SL1s as my surround speakers for my entertainment system (which are being fed audio from my entertainment system via sonos port) and i have had serious delay time issues with this. It has created a delay which i cannot correct within my sony amp/reciever… Even when delaying my main tower speakers to the maximum, and setting delay on the sonos to the minimum, the delay on the sonos speakers is still WAY behind the rest of my system…. That is a whole different problem. But the main issue is that spotify refuses to work with my system no matter what i do. I have reinstalled all services, reconnected all the speakers from scratch, restarted my router, and still have the same issues. Hello. I have inquired before, but there is an issue where songs keep skipping when I play Spotify playlists on the Sonos application. I have tried changing all routers and even directly connecting, but the issue still persists. I have searched the Sonos community, and it seems like this issue has been repeating for several years. You can see that there are many inquiries about it. It wasn't this severe before the last update, but after this update, all songs are skipping. I want to emphasize again that this is not an internet issue. I have tried changing routers, pulling out all the codes, and even resetting the device. This issue only occurs with Spotify and not with other music platforms. Please forward this matter to your technical support team and resolve the problem as soon as possible. 

I recently changed the name of my Windows PC. Despite deleting and reinstalling the PC Sonos 1 software, the Sonos 1 PC controller no longer finds my Sonos system. The Sonos portable controller finds the system but cannot find the music stored on my renamed PC (even though the PC name and folder for the music source seems to be correct. Any ideas??ThanksRichard

Just factory reset my playbar, surrounds (sonos one’s) & sub and updated the app.Everything is working however now there is no way to adjust surrounds or sub. Used to be settings for all this. There were some distance settings for surrounds & you could adjust sub.All now is the volume, night sound, & enhancement.Touched every part of every screen I see nothing but it’s supposed to be there.Have it on android phone & ipad. Both are the same.Not there.

The original system was the Bose Built Invisible that had the sub woofer and rear speakers built into the wall.  It had a separate amp for all the speakers that is no longer working. Want to add an Arc with two amplifiers (one for the rears and one for the sub) for the home theater room.Will the set up in the Amp allow for a stand alone sub woofer only.  Trying to do this without having to get a separate power amplifier to use the sub output.       

All my 10+ wake up and go to sleep alarms with selected play lists disappeared overnight. I have had them for years! What have you done? What kind of system update would screw this up?I did not touch the system or use the apo during this last 24 hours.

Hey everyone, I’m flustered with how the Sonos system keeps cutting out at my new place. This was a much more tolerable issue before (when I also didn’t have Boost in place). At my new place, I’ve installed 8 speakers (individually for now) and everytime I start to play a song from Spotify, half of the speakers cut in and out for the first 20 seconds and eventually come on. This isn’t an issue for the subsequent songs if the queue remains uninterrupted. But, if I try to play another song, well, we’re back to square one!I just installed Boost and the situation improved mildly. But, I still have the same frustrating thing as before. While I love these speakers, this really seems unacceptable to me at this point and I’m now thinking if I should just get rid of the entire system and find a better alternative.My place is a 1,000 square foot flat and Boost, distance and location wise, isn’t too far from the speakers (30ft max from the farthest). Anyone had a better luck with this? 

Good evening Just bought two Era 100’s as my main music source. They are excellent, however, I have a problem. All my other speakers and my sound bar are on Sonosnet, while the Era 100’s obviously are on my Wi-Fi. The problem I have is when I group the Era100’s with any of my other Sonos one’s they keep losing connection. Yet play the Era 100’s on their own or likewise the other speakers on Sonosnet on their own they work fine. They just will not work when grouped properly.

 I have a Beam, Sub and Pair of Ones along with a pair of Fives that all connect to Sonos Net via the Sonos Boost plugged directly into my router.I also have a pair of ERA 300s that are not compatible with Sonos Net. Up until yesterday I've had no problem playing music to any two pairs or all speakers at once. Ever since the most recent app update (today or yesterday), I can combine the groups of speakers or "rooms" that are on the Sonos net and play them together, but the ERA 300s cannot play the same song at the same time all of the sudden.I can also play just the ERA 300s, but if I attempt to add in either of the other rooms, the app shows them playing but no audio comes out.Anybody else experiencing this?

HI.Bought an ERA 100 for a friend’s new home.  They have a Samsung smart tv and want to play the sound through the ERA. Can you let us know how to do that? The tv connects through wifi. At this point the Sonos is paired by bluetooth to a phone. The Sonos app is installed.Thanks for any help and info.

For about the last month, my Sonos Playbar and a pair of Play 1 speakers temporarily stop playing together after grouping.The Playbar is also used as a TV speaker, which causes it to ungroup from Play 1 speakers when the TV is on. That’s the way we prefer it for TV watching.When listening to music, we prefer a whole room effect, so we group them together.For about the last month, especially when listening to SiriusXM, the grouping works great for about the first 10 minutes, then the Playbar drops off for about 3 minutes, so only the Play 1s are working. Then  the Playbar returns to the group by itself, although the overall sound quality is degraded.I have tried powering down all components, then rebooting, to no avail.I live in a high rise building amidst many other WiFi systems. The components all work off a Wifi extender on a Google Fiber network. All the components are 12 feet or closer to the extender.Grateful for any help. I have submitted diagnostics Confirmation #515872033.

Sound distorts in the upper midrange only when classical-orchestral music is playing. Is there any adjustment that would help

Please please help before I throw this crap out the window.Sub constantly disconnects from sub, possibly from router reset, I don't know. Generally turning this junk off and back on resets it all fine. Tonight, oh my god what a palaver. Router has been reset 3 times. Sub reset 5 times. Playbar reset 4 times. Variations of unplugging. I've had 3 different fault messages. Eventually found " Wireless connection not suitable for this playbar. "Reset everything. Uninstall app, reinstall. Reconnect all components. It recognises both items, but won't allow me to add the sub to the room( playbar) as it can't find it ??? Seriously? I've been at this an hour now. Pressing buttons, resetting this, resetting that, all different orders. The Wireless isn't suitable bit has gone, both speakers are on the app, but they don't recognise each other. All been fine for 3 years except all these disconnects but this one takes the biscuit

Have my ARC connected to my LG CX.The assistant will sometimes activate during movies and random TV without me saying “hey google”.No words or sounds come close to “hey google” or “okay google” when the assistant activates.Anyone noticed this or have any suggestions?Thanks.

Just trying to stream audio from my iPad / youtube app to my Era 300.The cog spins and spins and fails, When I disconnect airplay, the youtube app just hangs. I’ve tried two different iPads and I get the same issue with both.Has anyone else had this problem?Thanks

HelloI have recently purchased a Cambridge Audio AXA35 to go with my setup. Setup consists of:2x Sonos One SLsSonos PortSony PS-LX310BT turntable I want to play vinyl on my turntable through my Sonos speakers and be able to control the volume and settings through the Cambridge Audio AXA35. However I cannot figure out the optimum way of connecting all the various components to achieve what I want. I have the phono outputs from the turntable and an analogue RCA cable currently. I am able to get sound by connecting the turntable output to the amplifier phono inputs, with the turntable set to “Phono". And then connecting the REC out to the In ports on the Sonos Port. However even with the line out set to “fixed" in the Sonos app I can still control the volume in the app and the volume controls and settings on the amp don't do anything.I am not the most AV minded so grateful if someone could possibly advise where I'm going wrong… Thanks

Hi, I have recently moved house and had to reconfigure my system. For some reason, Sonos has duplicated my 'Dining Room' so now I have three 'Dining Rooms', each with a separate component (see image). Is there a simple way to remove the duplicates and just have one Dining room with all the components in? Thanks
