Since update to 15.2.1 the sound on my Play:1 jumps to 100% after a couple of minutes running. No matter if I set the sound on the app or on the computer. Also if it’s radio or from my server in the same network. This is annoying and makes the system unusable… Any hint on how to fix this issue?

So I have my new Sonos/Pro-Ject Debut Carbon turntable set up through Connect. Line -In Autoplay set to play when the needle drops, to the correct room, etc.  My problem is, sometimes Autoplay doesn’t Autoplay. There is no sound coming through speakers. I have to push Play/Pause on the Connect and then I hear.Also, sometimes when all is good and I group rooms, it goes back to silent and I have to push Play/Pause again to get sound.Play/Pause is not a button I use or want to use. It’s just the only thing that fixes this.Any idea why I’m getting the silence? Is something triggering pause? Why doesn’t Autoplay work all the time? I’m also getting slips in the grouped rooms. Any advice on this?Why can’t this just work? Is Connect just too old a technology?Thanks guys.    

i’ve recently relocated to a new province, and I can’t get my system up and running. how can I log into a new network using my Sonos app

I have an Arc set up with two One surrounds and not long ago (I can’t pinpoint exactly when) it started taking at least ten seconds for the volume to go back up after asking Alexa something and the answer finishing, or if it thinks it hears the wake word it will stay quiet for far too long. Any ideas would be much appreciated, as it’s really annoying. I don’t have ‘follow-up mode’ enabled as it’s ‘disabled when using Wi-Fi connected speaker’ according to the Alexa app.

Roam will not charge. Support is useless.

I purchased a Sonos Beam gen 2 and 3 Sonos One SL’s speakers in Nov 2022 to be used around my house. The One SL’s are not connected to my system as surround speakers, the Beam is connected to a Samsung Smart TV. Since I purchased the system there has been an increasing amount of crackle/static pops coming from all 4 devices at various points. The Beam does not crackle when music is playing but does when streaming HBO Max.  The One SL speakers crackle consistently when streaming music from Spotify, SoundCloud and even from the Sonos Music service within the app. The One SL speakers are located all around the house, with various distances to my wifi router (upstairs office = farthest, kitchen = one room from wiif, basement = farthest). They all crackle with same frequency more or less. It happens whether I’m playing music to just one speaker or all 3. I have contacted Sonos several times to troubleshoot. We’ve tried decreasing streaming quality from Spotify, we’ve tried streaming music o

Can I get a wireless guitar system to connect directly to my Sonos amp?

I have Spectrum and Eero mesh.  I have rebooted Move, reinstalled Move, reinstalled Sonos app.   I am at my wits end with no Move showing in my app.   

Today my system decided it could no longer see my SONOS Five (note not a Play 5 - this has a mute button, not a play/pause one).  On trying to get that back in I lost my ZP120.  The android phone app appears incapable of seeing/recognising these devices and at best it sees them as the newer versions with the Play/Pause button but even with pretending this is the case the app can not hand shake with them.  Net result I am now down two devices with no apparent way of getting them back.I have tried disconnecting the power and then powering back up while holding the mute button, but this does little now aside from putting the device in to handshake mode with an app which can’t handle the handshake.

Recently taken my somos roam away and connected to the holiday home wifi. Worked ok to start with but now Alexa won’t play music when prompted. Alexa works and searches as expected but for some reason music cannot be triggered. I have to do it manually via the sonos App. I tried re-authorising the music services, reinstalled Amazon music, but still nothing. Is very strange. Any ideas? 

I have one Sonos One and another SL in my room set up as a stereo pair. If I ask the ONE a question is it possible it responds from the speakers of both the ONE and ONE SL? so if I ask a question alexa only responds from the speaker of the ONE. Can I make it answer my question on the both speakers???

Hey everybody strange thing happening with my 2 of my sonos AMP and 1-2 radio stations. I have no problem with most radio stations but there are 2 stations (and it makesno difference if chosing it on sonos radio or tunein) who cause some problems. I have 9 „rooms“ in total. 4 AMP‘s , 1 move, 1 beam and 3 one‘s!on every room the 2 concerned stations play with no problem EVERY TIME. On 2 AMP‘s they mostly don‘t play…. I just get the „tunein“ chime on repeat. A very few times they work, but if i stop them and want to start again, they don‘t work.the work around is to select a 2nd room with the AMP and start the station before deselecting again the 2nd room.somebody knows what that is?oh yeah  i am on sonos S2 and newest update  bought all my elements toogether last year. Bever tried radios before so can‘t say if the problem is recent or no  thanks 

I recently bought a pair of sonos sl speakers which work very well with my BrennanB2.but if I put a cd in I get no sound from the sonos but its fine with the brennan speakers.why is this ? On utube there is a short tutorial on playing a cd through the sonos speakers but I cannot get it to play the cd.

Hi thereI have tp link powerline adaptors hard wired to router and then to the playbar on the other side of the living room. They are definitely working as I have tested the ethernet signal with a MacBook. My issue is when I connect up the ethernet cable from adaptor to playbar it doesn’t seem to pick up the signal and it won’t let me turn off the playbars wifi.  has anyone experienced this before? Hopefully there is a simple fix. Playbar disappears from my system often via wifi even though it’s in the same room as my router. Bt smart hub 2. Sonos have replaced the playbar twice now due to apparently dodgey wifi cards. Great customer service I must add. PlayBar was bought nearly 8 years ago!

I have several devices on my home network, which is the same network that my Sonos system is on.Do I need to have the Sonos app installed on all of those devices if I want to use them to play Apple Music or Spotify? Or can I play directly from device to Sonos system from Apple Music or Spotify, bypassing the Sonos app?

Can I connect 4 Sonos One speakers to my existing Sonos Arc & sub? If so, what is the limit of speakers (Sonos one) I can connect to my soundbar and sub to play simultaneously?  I already have two Sonos Ones paired as surrounds to the arc and sub. I just want to know if I can add more. 

I have in ceiling sonance c6r speakers (max 85watt, 8 ohm) in my house. My main room is set up for 5.1 with a speaker above my TV but are currently connected to a Sonos amp which I have recently connected to my TV. The center speaker is not currently added to the amp.Is it possible to add the center speaker to this amp without breaking it?

Hi there,I have a problem with my Sonos Sub Gen 3.It has been on and off from day one (mostly off).I have the ARC and Sub connection as one room .The system under setting of the app shows everything fine. I see 4 rooms/products total. 3 room are 3 separate amps each connected to pair of ceiling or outdoor speaker and the 4th room is the ARC+SUBit actually shows ARC+SUB(+Sub)and the ARC is amazing but I can not hear anything from Sub. tried few months ago to reconnect and reboot bit nothing work. have been using my ARC and 3 other room system and enjoying the music but really missing the sub.what is the best way to diagnose and resolve the issue on an existing system?I have the wifi and the connection with ARC and that never had a problem. ARC is also connected to the TV vis HDMI.PS I had some internet issues and had to reconfigure my whole system and but through Sonos app I did change the wifi and everything seem to be ok, again except the sub. Thank you

I’m pretty confused here and am struggling to get an answer. A long time ago I had a Deezer 1 year trial of their Hi Def audio service. It played through all my SONOS equipment at that time - certainly pre S1/S2 split on an original Play 3 and a number of Connects which all became defunct later. I didn’t maintain the subscription as I didn’t want the cost, and have used Spotify since.Now I’m looking at Apple Music. It offers a Hi Def option on music files - lossless - and even though I’m on S2 and have upgraded all my SONOS equipment to latest models, I may or may not be able to play the Hi Def audio through any of it. Really? We’ve gone backwards over the last 10 (?) years. I’d be interested to get a clear answer. I’m struggling to believe that SONOSNET is incapable of running a Hi Def stream around it.If it works, then I’ve got a reason to swap over from Spotify (who won’t offer Hi Def) to Apple. I have an older Playbar (2017) that won’t play sound- from any source. This isn’t a matter of not hooking it up to the TV correctly, it won’t play even when streaming. The app shows full functionality and control, and shows music playing, but no sound. My guess is that there is a physical issue inside the speaker itself. Any thoughts? Thanks!

My vinyl sound is about ½ that of streaming sources.It’s the Five + ProJect package, I have it set up with a Sonos One on the network and the TT wired to the Five.Yes the cables and line-in switch are all correct. I have to push the volume from 40% to 70% or more to get the same sound out of the setup when I’m playing via the TT and Line In option.Has anyone else experienced this volume drop off? 

Can anyone help me understand why my Sonos Play 3 won’t let me play music that I own? The message says that I need to renew my Apple Music subscription. I don’t want Apple Music, just to play the music I purchased on iTunes astoundingly frustrating 

I have a villa which is rented out Airbnb etc and we have a Sonos system in property and I am looking for best procedures for guests to use the system - do they have to set up a system every time some one new moves into villa or is there a simple method ?

I just moved my Sonos system to a VLAN, which is not the VLAN my main network (including my phone) is on.  Now, of course, none of my Sonos apps, phone or PS sees my system.  Is there any way to get them all working together (short of putting my speakers back on my main VLAN?  Don't really want to do that, as that'll lessen the security of my network.
