My SONOS app used to start playback immediately after I selected a favorite station, but a few months ago, I started getting a page with a description of the station where I now have to press “play” to start the music. Why is this? It was so much better when I didn’t need to press a second time. SONOS seems to keep adding impediments to simple use of their app.

Hi @Dean_25

Thanks for your post!

I wasn’t aware of this change - I guess it’s been a while since I played any radio! As a result, I can’t give you a specific reason as to why this change was made.

Thank you, though. All feedback - good and bad - is important to us, and we like to hear what our customers think!

I did test and noticed that once a station has been added to My Sonos, you no longer see the info screen prior to playback and it therefore only takes one press to play.
