Adding 1 OneSL as surround speakers to Beam

Hi,

I already have a Beam synchronised with my TV that is working well.

I would like to add 1 One SL (only bought one) as surround speaker in order to have a home cinema but the app doesn’t allow me to do so. It says that « two compatible speakers are needed to add surround speakers ».
Does it mean that two One SL are needed to install surround speakers synchronised with my Beam ?

Did some of you already succeed to pair a Beam with 1 One SL ?

Thank you in advance !

Yes: there needs to be 2 rear surrounds.

Two surrounds is standard for any surround set up. In Sonos lingo, the term “pairing” seems to be reserved for stereo set ups. For combining speakers in a surround set up the word “bonding” is used.
