I can connect my beam 2.0 and to my sun mini. But when I try to connect my era 100 to the other 2 devices, I did not connect.

Could someone answer a question with Era300 trueplay please? According to the Era300 installation instructions it states that trueplay needs to be performed with the microphone switch on the back of the speaker in the on position? Is not the trueplay calibration determined by the IOS device you use to perform the trueplay function?thanks

Is the center woofer in the Era 100 turned off (disabled) when used as surrounds with Arc/Beam?  I’ve read that with the Era 300 the center woofer disabled when in surround mode.  Is this the case with the Era 100?

I'm considering getting 2 era 300 as rear/atmos for my arc and sub. I can only place them on the side walls above listening position. Any advice on exact placement. One thing that might be a gamechanger is my acoustic ceiling, which is more or less designed to stop sound waves. Will an upside down placement be better in this case?

Hello,I would appreciate some advice please. I am mounting my arc on the extendable Sanus mount within a recess in my media wall. I have read that the Sanus mount sags a little under the weight of the arc and so I was wondering how high an opening I need to allow the arc to move in and out freely. Thanks very much for any advice.  Nu

I’m looking at purchasing the Pro-Ject T1 turntable and would like it to play on my current Sonos system in the home - I have the move, ray, one SL (x3) all grouped.  I see that I can purchase a set, the Pro-Ject T1 turntable and five. the question I have is, if I buy the turntable and the five, will this link into my current system and play across all speakers? the other question is, do I need the five, if not what else would I need to have the turntable play across my current system  thanks in advance   

Hello,I have Sonos in two homes on obviously different networks.  One system is relatively new and I can upgrade to the S2 app.  The other system has an older component on it that still requires S1.  If I upgrade my S1 app at the home where it can be upgraded will it turn into S2, erase the S1, and thus prevent me from using it at the home that requires S1? 

Hi, I just got a LG C2. I have a beam gen 1 and two One rear speakers. While playing Series X I'm getting 5.1 DD in the app, so that's good. However, out of interest I checked the sound options in the Xbox settings and I'm surprised to see that so many audio options are not available on the Series x with this tv. Is this due to me only having a beam gen one? If I upgrade in the future is this tv capable of playing uncompressed 7.1? Sound out is through earc and in advanced settings DTV is set to auto. Digital sound out is set to passthrough as I read to change that from auto. On Xbox, HDMI audio is set to Dolby Digital. Setting this to stereo uncompressed meant I could not get 5.1 sound. Here is a pic of what the Xbox says is unavailable with the tv settings.I'm just wondering if I've bought the wrong TV as far as future proofing goes? Thanks for any help!

Hi all, I have a weird problem. I have a new iPhone 14 Pro, and having moved everything over to it, it is unable to connect to the Sonos network over WiFi (2x Sonos:1, 1x Sonos:3, 1x Sonos:One) - it complains saying the devices are not on the same network as the phone. Old iPhone is XS (of which we have 2), both work fine, as does a couple of iPad Pro’s. Both iPhone are running up to date Sonos app and iOS 16.3.1. IPhone settings are identical from what I can see. Private address is off on WiFi and no VPN.  Our wifi is via Unifi devices, and we do have an IoT network/subnet. MDNS is configured on the Unifi kit, and is working with the other iPhones and iPads. Only difference I can see between all the devices is iPhone XS is WiFi5 and iPhone 14 Pro is WiFi6. However the iPad Pro’s are on WiFi6 and work fine. If I put the phone on the IoT subnet then it all connects fine, so suggests it is a MDNS issue. For now I have disabled all blocking firewall rules between subnets and it makes no d

I recently bought a new tv and want to transfer my beam 2. Got the beam 2 all connected to the new tv but it is not working. 

Hi all, I have strange behavior of my set (Beam gen 2 + 2x One as surrounds) while listening Spotify of watching movies.When music is playing ones per few minutes random one of the speakers are muting, dropping or volume goes down for about one second. It’s hard to catch exactly what is it, sometime I feel that music on one speaker is slowing. Anyway this is very irritating. It started more less a week ago, I thing just after upgrading software to the newest version. Does anyone has the same issue or know how to fix it?I’ve tried restart all speakers and wifi router.I haven’t contacted with Sonos support yet. 

Is it possible to use 2 Arc SL Sound bars as left and right fronts?  I do not have the ability to center the sound bar. Thought I would just get a second one and put one on each side. I would have to have an HDMI splitter pigtail, I guess to send signal to both from the same source, I guess?

I have 4 Connects powering third party (in ceiling) speakers in four zones via a third party multi-zone amplifier.  I also have a Playbar, Sub and Play:3.  All are running on the S1 app.My third party multi-zone amplifier died and I am upgrading from the Connects to Amps, and then to run the Amps, Playbar, Sub and Play:3 on the S2 app.I have the Amps and I’m looking for guidance/instructions on the process for executing the upgrades, i.e. removing the Connects, installing the Amps, and getting them all running (along with the Playbar, Sub and Play:3) on the S2 app.Thanks...

Does anyone know if the Era 300 speaker stands as advertised at present have carpet spikes included on the base plate? There is no details on the website.

I haven’t been able to connect my Amazon Music Unlimited to the Sonos AppWon’t let me browse.  I believe its because when I add it on the app, it defaults to the US Amazon (.com) and not Amazon Canada (.ca) which is who I pay for Amazon music Is there a way to fix this so I can browse and play music through the Sonos app?

i got an arc, two subs and a sonos amp pushing two rear speakers. i want to use the era as front firing height channes - is that possibe? i could care less about rear upward firing channels.for such an expensive ass speaker, i assumed they would be clear about something like this but i can’t find literature on it anywhere. i also agree with the other poster that they are too big for atmos and practically a waste of their size when just used for atmos. 

Hello everybody,i have a question regarding the new Era100 Input System.So far i‘m using the Ikea Symphonik Speakers as Satellite Speakers with my Arc. Works well for me.But, as my Play5 is in the kitchen, i was always searching for an easy way to connect my turntable in the living room. My question is: Can i connect my turntable to one Era 100, when they are used as satellite speakers with my Arc? I’d love to say that MOVE is awesome and sounds great, but I can’t even get pass go to say this..it just will not connect...my app picks it up and sometimes goes to install and the app just drops out, or does connect, but can’t register...or wants to use some internal Move wifi, which is really strange. I was so excited to receive my MOVE, but now ready to accept I’ve been scammed and drop it in the bin. Surely after 2years of release, MOVE should just join the SONOS system I have seamlessly..but it doesn’t.Every other SONOS product I have bought, which are much older than this MOVE I got yesterday, did connect no probs….SONOS why is this so? I’ve never had many issues with SONOS, especially since moving to Fibre to the Premises broadband with 100+ mbps download and super stable network.Preferably I just want my $s back and I’ll go buy something that works, like every other product found on the market for bluetooth style speakers, and save myself stressing and seaching/reading forums t

Hi all, I wonder if you can help. I have a planar p1 record deck (into a preamp) and a marantz cd6007 going into an rca splitter, then the output goes to a port and then to all my other sonos speakers.  The output from the vinyl sounds great but the output from the cd player sounds ghastly - muffled and distorted.  I have swapped the connections over to every different combination but nothing changes.  Some of my CD’s sound good but the majority are not up to the job.  The CD player is new (the output from the headphone socket on the player is absolutely brilliant, so no problems there).  Do you think that I need a separate amplifier in between the CD player and the Port, or is there something darker afoot?

I can no longer access any key Sonos settings – Account, System, Services & Voice are all greyed out on my Android phone. There has been no changes to my router. It just stopped working. Alexa is still working though. 

Hello sonos community!Is it possible to group two rooms with one having the sonos beam+sub+one sourrounds (capable of dolby atmos music via apple music) and the other room having the new era300 and both playing dolby atmos?Currently the 2nd room is equipped with a five and when I group these rooms I loose the dolby atmos format for all speakers…Thank you in advance!

HiI see there’s other topics around this question, but none of them seem to solve my problem. Here’s the situation:I have a Samsung The Frame combined with a Playbar, Sub and 2x OneSL since a couple of years. My Samsung One remote has been working fine until a couple of days ago it just stopped working for changing volume. I’ve checked other topics and tried everything including powering off/on the Playbar, deleting and re-installing it, reinstalling the remote in the app etc. I’ve also tried this workaround: Hope someone will be able to help because it’s driving me insane at this point. Thanks!

I have two Move speakers that I pair and use in stereo; can I add a subwoofer and pair with them?

Hi All, can you help.am I correct in saying a 16 ohm speaker can be used on each side of the amplifier either as a pair or as a 4.for example 2 speakers on the left channel and 2 on the right channel? how ever I cant have 3 due to the imbalance in ohms being around 5 ohms? thanks 

Our band performs regularly at a small club that has a multi-room Sonos system installed for recorded music when the band is not playing. The system sounds really great - loud, clean, excellent coverage of the venue. Our own PA speakers are high end, but they are too loud up front and not loud enough in the back, always a challenge. I would like to patch a line level output from our band’s mixer into the Sonos system when we play. Exactly what would I need to do that? Club owner is hesitant - he seems to think we could harm his setup. He has not told me exactly what Sonus gear he has. All I know is that he controls it all from his phone, and it is high end. We could run a cable to his central Sonos device assuming that it has a line level in… or we could go wireless - I believe Sonus has a device, or we could transmit over wi-fi with a non-Sonus receiver by his central device.Any advice without knowing his exact gear? I’m sure I will ultimately be able to find out, but I would like to
