Iphone not connecting to sonos

Hi 

I have a problem logging onto Sonos from my iPhone - I get “something went wrong. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the internet and try again”. My iPhone is connected to the internet.

I can use my phone to play some of the free services such as radio, however when I try browsing Deezer i get the error “unable to browse music - there was a problem connecting to Deezer.

Other devices in our house are fine - they can operate Sonos as usual - the problem is specific to my app/phone (on the latest IOS and app has been deleted/reinstall). Please help!!

Random thought, but are you running a VPN on your iPhone and not the other devices?

Literally just had that thought…yes I do have a vpn for work - will disable and see what happens. Thanks for the reply

Disable MS Defender, it is not compatible with Sonos at the moment.

Exactly that - the workaround is to disable defender while using Sonos. Thanks for your comments 

I’d encourage you to complain to the folks at Defender, the more nudging they get, the more likely it is that they’ll fix the issue.
