I purchased a new Era 100, and I hit on skip on the promo when setting up the device. Now I cannot find the promo in the Sonos app. How do I get this promo?

I have 3 speakers… 2 Sonos One SL and 1 Sonos Roam.  I have them set up in a Group.I can tell Alexa to play a Sirius Chanel on the Group and all 3 speakers work.If I try to use an iPhone or a Mac, I can ‘select’  each speaker but only 1 Sonos One SL and the Sonos Roam connect and work.  I get a message  ‘Airplay- Unable to connect to’ the other Sonos One SL (which, as I said, works from from Alexa to the group just fine.) Help! Thanks,Dave

Hi - thank you in advance for your help.  New to this so really looking for the expertise of the group.  We are adding a kitchen addition and covered outdoor deck to our home.  The electrician suggested 2 Sonos ceiling speakers for each area. He also suggested 2 Sonos receivers (I’m guessing he is referring to the amplifiers?). My questions:does this equipment sound correct?  Why would we need 2 receivers? if we purchased just 1 receiver and 4 ceiling speakers, do we have the option of turning the deck ones off if we are not out there? Can we listen to 2 different sources in the 2 different areas at the same time (parents mysic on kitchen, kids music on deck?) can we add additional stand alone Sonos speakers in the future for the living room for example or out in the yard?thank you very much!  Very excited about this 

Can my S1 Playbar be hooked up to a TV as well as be part of a separate wireless group? Right now it is part of a wireless Sonos group that plays line-in input with a stereo pair of two generation 1 Play Fives. I want to keep that functionality but possibly also hook it up to a Sony 4K TV. If this is even possible… What will be involved with switching between the two setups? Thanks in advance. 

what is the best approach to transferrring existing sonos system from dying mac to new windows pc 

Had Sonos since 2015. Great product. We used to play Spotify a lot. No issues until few weeks ago. No matter the category after few songs adverts appear, especially Metallica, and - nothing - system goes on pause. Have cleared cache, rebooted router, no difference. Yes we've always had adverts, including "listen to these and get 30 min advert free", which has disappeared. Don't have this issue if we play music via Sonos Radio. It's only started since Metallica appeared. 

Hello Community,I have the exact same problem as described in the closed topic “iOS app services refreshing/blinking”.I can not use the search function on iOS app. When I search it shows the results but they always flash up and when I select the service to show i.e. all albums it flashes back to the main search. I have the exact same problem on multiple iphones but not on the Sonos Mac app.I tried delete, reboot and reinstall on iphone but without success. I also remove apple music service and put it back in but also no success.Any ideas?

Hi guys!I have a really strange issue with my bedroom set-up. It's an older Philips 32” lcd TV connected to my Sonos Beam soundbar. When watching TV the sound is swaying, it sound like an old VHS tape that changes speed, it's especially noticable when there is music during film tv-shows. At first it was a bit of an nostalgic feeling, but lately I've gone tired of it 😂 Does anyone else experienced this issuez and have a solution?

I just bought a HIsense 50A6BGTUK  TV. The Sonos Ray will not recognise my new TVs remote, I have tried several times setting up in the Sonos app. Just not recognised. It worked perfectly with old model Hisense TV I had previosuly, very friustrating...

For our 2nd restaurant, per many recommendations for stability, we’ve run CAT6 to all our SONOS one-SL speakers from our Cisco router/switch. We’ve connected our 2 amps to the Cisco router/switch and passive speaker wire to our Sonance ceiling and outdoor pairs.AND, we can’t get the SONOS app to recognize the system. Any help would be so much appreciated! 9 SONOS ONE-SLs1 SONOS AMP---pair of Sonance Ceiling Speakers1 SONOS AMP---pair of Sonance Outdoor Speakers  

I am adding 2 Era 300 speakers (replacing 2 One SL) to an existing Arc soundbar and Sub Gen 3. Do I have to re-run True Play after connecting the 2 Era speakers?Thank you.

HelloI have a Connect, was fine a few months ago but has been off for a while. Turned it back on, just flashes white light slowly (around 10 secs on, 20 secs off). Tried factory reset, plugging into router.  Nothing changes.Is it a lost cause?

Hello to all,i would like to ask your suggestions since I can’t try the positiong without drilling holes.As in picture, I have the SUrround placed on the couch that is against the wall.Horrizontal position:ideal position is having the left one at the same distance than the right one from the listener ears (in this case i should re position the left speaker at about 150 cm far, correct?Vertical position:I have read that they should be ideally 60 cm above the head or at “ear level”So wich would be better having a 250 cm ceiling height:-place them at ear level ( in my case 90 cm height)-place them at mid wall (125 or 150cm) so that the upper driver sound bounces back to me having less distance (125+125+35=285cm)-place them at 125 or 150 cm up side down so to have the upper driver firing down and not bouncing on the ceiling Thanks for the reply

Hi, I have a Sonos Play:5 (Gen2) in the kitchen which I have connected to LAN. Then I have a Soundbar, a sub and two One in the living room as a surround system.As I understand, it should be possible to get other Sonos units to connect to a wired Sonos unit, but this seems not to be working with my system. I have tried to switch everything off, even the router, but the livingroom system wont connect to the wired unit.Any advice from anyone?Thank you. Moderator edit: changed “Sonos 5” to “Sonos Play:5 (Gen2)” for clarity.

Hello, I have an arc+one +sub gen3 when listening to YouTube video the ones are not heard, I already have music play back full configured and some YouTube videos show me that it is in pcm format and others in 5.1, I have a Chromecast I have this problem only with YouTube 

We’re getting the backyard ready for a big summer.  Lots of space out there, no pool.  Would you recommend we set up a pair of Roam speakers in Stereo or just 1 Move speaker?Appreciate your help!

Hi i just connect a sub mini to my beam 2, but have a question. Does de beam 2 automatically sent the lows frecquency to the sub mini and dedicated only to the highs and mids? Abd what EQ recommend?

I am using Sonos amp to provide TV sound to wired Kef bookshelf speakers.  When switching from Spotify music to TV the volume always defaults to zero.  I have to turn volume up every time.   If I just watch TV and turn off and on the app holds the last volume used.is there a Sonos solution that will hold TV volume when switching inputs?

I switched all of my Sonos devices at my upstate home this weekend from Alexa to Google Assistant (2x Beam and 2x Sonos One) and everything worked great and controlled all of those as well as my 3x Connect:Amp devices. The Beam CEC control to turn on and off TVs with Google works great! I attempted to update the Beam and Sonos One at my apartment when I returned to the city and when I run through the process, the Google Assistant app fails to find any devices. My apartment setup has the same Sonos account with the latest firmware updates, same Google Account (which is configured for two homes) and is on the the same UniFi networking equipment (different SSIDs). Are there any known limitations with a single Sonos account at multiples homes? There shouldn't be any limitations on the Google side as I have Ecobee thermostats at Google Home locations. The only other difference is that that I don't have any "real" Google products like a Home Mini at my apartment, so I'm wondering

Everything working fine, went out for a walk, came back & the iOS app has lost three of the four speakers (it “sees” the Play 5, but has “lost” an Era 300 and two independent Ones).The Mac app works just fine - sees and independently controls each speaker still, but phone refuses to find “new product”. Phone restarted, app deleted and re-installed - same phone only finds the Play 5.No ethernet connections - all wi-fi. All one one network, one router, no mesh. No issues for months, then this….Any ideas / help please?

I was just curious, as I am shopping, if the Era 300 is the latest and greatest, it seems weird that it is less expensive than the Five speaker. Is there a place to compare them? Is it just because the focus is on Spatial on the 300 where the Five is used better for straight up stereo? 

Hi, I have a Play 5 Gen 2, I can connect with a network cable but not on WiFi, I’ve tried a reset of the unit and the WiFi network to no avail.I’ve ran a diagnostic, support number is: 144006030 

Canadian user here having issues listening to CBC radio1 through TuneIn radio. It has become incredible annoying to try to listen to the radio through TuneIn over the past few weeks as every few minutes the program cuts out to hear the”tunein theme”, and then tunein ad after tunein ad. This is a new problem, and is driving me crazy. I have updated all apps and operating systems. This issue DOES NOT HAPPEN on other Tunein Radio channels.Does anyone have any advice? Please. 

Hi everyone I want to create an nfc shortcut to make my sonos move play from the iphone but i can’t find where the nfc tag is located on the move. I’ve successfully done this with the arc and ikea symfonisk but not for the move. Is the move missing nfc ? If not where should I place the phone? thanks you !
