I am a Sonos user and LOVE my 5’s, 1’s and other Sonos gear. We are building a new home and plan on putting in Sonos wired in-ceiling architectural speakers back to an AV closet with Sonos Amps. We would like to do the same outside for the covered patio. Are the in-celing speakers capable of being installed outdoors in a covered patio, able to withstand temperatures and possibly the elements, or is the only way to do this is to purchase the outdoor set that are installed with a bracket. Any experience out there on this design?

I would like to configurate my new Sub with my existing Arch and Move. I tried through the app but bluetooth it doesn’t recognize it. When I plug it light is white, when I push longer light is blinking orange.Any help?

Are there any plans to add rewind/pause for live radio in BBC Sounds on Sonos? These features are available in the native app and also in the plugin for Logitech Media Server so they must be available to the API

I’m not able to connect to my Sonos system. I travel from from one place to another Both has worked. I did reset the router, I connect directly to the router via cable. So the Sonos Era 100 and 300 have been officially announced - without support for Google Assistant.The following article from The Verge (https://www.theverge.com/23627044/sonos-era-300-100-announced-price-features-hands-on) mentions this: ‘Sonos says this is due to changes that Google has implemented for companies that want to run the voice service on third-party hardware. Patrick Spence claims it’s unrelated to the ongoing legal battle between the two companies and insists Assistant is now more of a “heavy engineering lift” than it was before. “Right now, we don’t see it being worth the effort. We hope Google will take another path that will allow us to continue to offer it in more of a lightweight manner the way we do today.”’Does this mean that those new speakers cannot be controlled by an additional Google Nest speaker either via the Google Home integration? And will this lack of Google Assistant support eventually affect owners of existing Sonos devices, such as the Sonos One/Move

Hi All,I am having issues with groupings in my system and it is causing me a lot of frustration haha. I have searched a lot of topics but haven’t really found anything that aligned with my issue. I suspect it is something to do with my router and/or my beam however that is where I am stuck. I will give some context on what I have tried and what works/does not work.System Arc with sub connected to tv close to router Amp driving two in ceiling speakers and amp is placed in cupboard under arc Beam gen 2 connected to TV outside about 18m direct line of sight to router Router - Netcomm NF18ACVSo as it stands and in my ultimate set up, all devices are wireless. I can see them all in my system this is where my issues start. I only just added the beam to the system and that, the arc and amp were working well together without it.What happens under a wireless set up:Arc will group with amp  Amp will group with arc  Beam will not group with arc Beam will not group with amp  I can cast Spotify to

I can’t find my sonos roam anywhere.  Is it possible for sonos to check the serial number and see if it has been registered anywhere else?  Guessing one of my kids friends may have snagged it.

I discovered today Apple Music Atmos music tracks downgrade to non-Atmos when at least one non-Amos speaker or set is added to the playing group.The tracks John Coltrane's Blue Train played in Atmos when grouping an Arc + Era 300 surround set, Era 300 stereo pair, and Beam Gen 2 + Sonos One surround set.When I then grouped a Sonos One stereo pair the music dropped very briefly, the Atmos logo disappeared from the Sonos app Now Playing screen, and the music resumed in stereo. The difference was definitely audible and a downgrade.It's disappointing to have to downgrade to the lowest common denominator if I want to have music playing throughout my home.I'm going to read through the iTunes Package Format documentation, not sure if it will provide any insight. What's weird to me is Atmos music will play in my Beam Gen 2 + Sonos One surround set, which includes two non-Atmos speakers. This gives me some fleeting hope Sonos may be able to address this limitation via a software update.Have oth

Thanks for reading.I have a Sonos set-up in my house for about the past 4 years with no major issues after I figured out the initial stuff (with help from here).  My IP provider had to switch out our router in December.  Same service but new router.  I believe my problems started there.I have about 20 speakers in my set-up.  Some would show as available and others would not.   I think I’d have it figured it out only for them to all crash again.  Overall, about 8 speakers would show as not connected and the rabbit hole of using the Sonos “bring speakers back online” approach did nothing.  Endless loop. This weekend I decided to completely remove all the assigned IP addresses, unplug every device again, reboot the router, and plug each device in one by one.  I also re-assigned the fixed IP addresses and confirmed no duplicates or any issues there.   I still had some stray speakers that would not connect so I re-set them back to default and added them back in. That seemed to solve the pro

I switched my internet provider and have a new router now. My Sonos speaker worked find with the old router, but my new provider provided a Fritz!Box 7530 AX, which only work with my Sonos speaker if I wire them together using a ethernet cable. I suspect that the Fritz!Box has a setting or something that prevents the speaker from using the wifi, but I fail to find a reason why. Other hardware like laptops, phones, the TV and even my body scale can connect to the network.I already checked the settings “Allow all new wireless devices” and “Active wireless devices may communicate with each other” as suggested in https://en.community.sonos.com/old-troubleshooting-229136/wifi-connection-issue-with-fritz-box-6836814. Hi Have read forums but am still struggling and apologies for the ramble but am hoping this triggers something. I have a Home Theater set up with Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3 and a pair of SLs. All was working fine for a year and half or so but have been having problems since then. The rear Left SL used to keep dropping off the surround set up. I never managed to work out what was going on as it would either remarkably join, or I would do the old “reboot router” trick and that would sometimes work I put it down to the location in my room (I have an Orbi Mesh router with the satellite being in close proximity to the Sonos). I tried to swap the rear left and rear right round and all was fine for a while until the rear Right (the old left) SL disconnected. After reading some forums I connected the Arc via ethernet to the Orbi Satellite and all looked good! I checked the Orbi and based on the ip’s all four Sonos were wired to the Orbi.  The next today the rear right Sonos SL has dropped off again.

I purchased a Sonos Beam Soundbar.  Several issues: [1] I cannot figure out exactly what model it is. Serial number is A100 C103CP 48-A6-B8-**-**-**-*. There's a prominent barcode BEAM1US2SDW which looks like maybe a model number[2] Please tell me what surround speakers and subwoofer are compatible.  Moderator edit: removed serial number

I can’t connect to either Sonic Play 1 speakers from the iPhone App.  The speaker resumes the Spotify playlist last requested, but I can’t choose any other music.  The “Let’s Fix This” troubleshooter says to make sure I’m signed in, but I don’t see a way to sign into the app since Account is grayed out.Account, System, Services & Voice settings all grayed out. 

I'm assuming that the line-in port on the Sonos Era will act as an input which can be played over a whole speaker group? If this is the case is the Sonos Port now more or less redundant if you upgrade at least one speaker from each of your speaker groups to an Era device.Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct?

I have been trying to connect a BeoSound 9000 CD Player to a Sonos Amp.  First I used a 5 Pin DIN to 2X RCA male cable to connect the BeoSound AUX to the Line In on the Sonos Amp.  Just got very faint sound even with the volume turned all the way up.  Checked on this Forum and realized the cable I had was probably wired for Line Out and the faint sound was cross talk between the pins on the DIN socket on the BeoSound.Next, I used a Kenable 5 Pin Male Din Plug to 4 x RCA Phono Male Plugs Audio Cable that I bought from Amazon.  I used the black RCA plug in the left Line In channel and the yellow RCA plug in the right Line In channel on the Amp.  I have tried the DIN plug in the AUX socket and the second Powerlink socket designed for connecting powered B&O speakers to the BeoSound.  No sound out of the AUX socket. with the DIN in the Powerlink socket, I get mono sound only out of some components of my Sonos system but not the speakers or sub connected to the Amp the BeoSound is connec

I would like to add additional sonos products that will allow audio output in my fitness room. Currently my setup includes arc, sub 3, 2 era 300 speakers and an port in the family room. I would like to tie in an sonos speaker and/or soundbar or other product that will allow me to play the audio from my treadmill and rower. Also to play audio from the TV and DVD player. All while being connected to the main sonos system. What would be the sonos product or products that can cover my fitness room needs. Thank you

Error: “There is not enough room to update your music library. Please remove unused queues or saved playlists and try again.” That is the error message I get when I try to add my Apple/iTunes Music Library to Sonos on my new laptop (MacBook Pro) running Ventura, which is my music server.  I read the previous posts dealing with this issue, but have not found answers. My music library has less than 30,000 songs and about 300 playlists, some of which are organized under folders and some have 100+ songs in them. I have 2 Sonos systems in 2 homes.  A legacy system (on an S1 controller) in one and a newer system in a 2nd home (on an S2 controller).  Both systems work very well with multiple zones. I have never had any issues updating my music library on either system, and haven’t made significant changes to my library other than adding a handful or playlists and songs since I go this new MacBook.  But the problem started since I have this new machine.  I successfully transferred my iTunes/Ap

I recently installed a Sonos Amp along with a Roam on my new patio. So far, I am loving the audio. The Roam teamed with the Amp gives me hands-free voice control over everything I want outside. My hope was that, with the Roam, it could be left outdoors during the warmer months and only need to be brought inside in the Winter.My Question is: What kind of temperatures should I be able to keep the Roam outside 24/7? I have a wireless charger set up and the Roam is mounted on a wall under an awning and pergola, so other than dust and wayward water spray, it should get very little direct contact with the elements. I figured that I would need to keep the Roam indoors during the Winter months but would be curious if anyone else has done something similar and what their experiences were.

I have a Sonos Arc with sub connected to an LG hdmi arc. When playing Netflix and Ps5 I get Dolby but when playing my IPtV I get pcm stereo. The movies I’m streaming have full high quality audio yet not get the best audio quality. Please help

Hello, I sent my son a Sonos Roam to Fort Bragg. He can’t use it or even get to the Bluetooth mode because he can’t do the initial set up. Army base Wi-Fi doesn’t let him in. I know he has to be on a home network for initial set up but there must be a way he can bypass this. Thank you for your help! I’ve read about travel routers or using a hotspot but I’m not sure how to explain this to him because I’m not very techie.

Hi, I have a connect:amp, and a bunch of ones and play3s.  The amp is 4 years old, and recently started losing connection. I've followed the instructions and it reconnects.  My google wifi shows 'great connection' to the amp.  Is the amp starting to fail, or is this a software issue? is there anything I can check?  the play3s are on the same access point, but a little closer (none are more than ~30 feet), and haven't had the problem. Sub is connected but is not working. Trueplay doesnt complete - cant find one speaker - even though i can see all speakers connected but doesnt work.Sound does cut in and out. 966315147 is the diagnostics number.

Hi there,I recently added a new AppleTV 4K to my home, during the set up process it requested I upgrade my HomeKit architecture (which I did). All iOS devices are running on 16.4 and the Ones are working through the Sonos app itself. All my speakers are plugged in through Ethernet.Since I have not been able to AirPlay to my two Sonos Ones. My Sonos Arc is unaffected.System Info:I tried factory reset as per as well as resetting / rebooting as perbut neither have resolved my issue.Where to from here?Thank you,
