Error 1013 when setting up Roam

I’m having issues setting Roam up, fresh out of the box.

It asks for a system update but then fails citing Error 1013.

I have looked at apps on other devices - nothing is trying to update. I have checked Firewall and there is no issue. I’ve tried with the device closer and further away from the router, but no joy. I have reset the speaker (hold 5 seconds, wait 10). I have rebooted the router. I have restarted my phone. I have tried reinstalling the app on my phone (android). I tried updating through laptop (mac).

Does anyone have any other ideas? I’m at loose end here.

Factory reset managed to fix it. Hope that helps anyone else before they tear their hair out.
