I am trying to stream my Tidal Playlist on Sonos S1 App and from time to time different streaming services have the same issue, they freeze seconds into the song playing. Usually i reauthorize the service and it fix itself. Recently this has no been working, I’ve tried it all, disconnecting the device from power and Wi-Fi, deleting streaming service from Sonos, restarting tablet, reauthorizing the tidal. But nothing this time around, any suggestions or solutions?

I’ve been using Apple Music and Pandora for years without issue on my setup.  I’ve recently moved to an Amazon Music Family plan so my kids can have music on their room echos. My setup… 5 S2 Ones and 1 Era 100.  Network is 1-Gig fiber routed through Eero Pro 6E Mesh.  I have 500meg down easily on wireless throughout the house.  All connected via WiFi, no Ethernet to any device. Since switching to Amazon music, when using the Alexa voice control or the Sonos app, music will stream inconsistently across all speakers in the group.  It takes about 45 seconds for every speaker to be playing the song and then after a few minutes it will randomly stop playing on some speakers but not all, or just stop playing completely.  If I switch to Apple Music or Pandora, it plays without issue and no drops.  Any help here?

I have a Samsung Frame TV 2022, AppleTV 4k and a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected via the supplied cable in the eARC port on the tv.  Things have generally been working well for the last 5-6 months, but today, I get no sound from it when watching TV--instead I get a machine gun-like ticking noise. (It doesn't go full volume like other posters have said). It should be noted that the Beam plays audio perfectly fine from the app. I’ve unplugged everything and reconnected it (i get the Sonos Chime on setup), to no avail. Support was not helpful.  The system diagnosis did not reveal anything. Any one have this experience? Possible Fixes?

Please be gentle, Tech challenged here.I have a smart TV, but an older model. It has 1 HDMI port. I have a SONOS Beam connected to the arc port. Roku is running on the HDMI port. I have a blue ray player with HDMI cable. How do I connect it to the tv so sound can play through the Beam without having to unplug cables?

Recently purchased the Sub (Gen 3) and noticed that the plastic at the top of the sub seems to stick out on one side.  Is this a common quality problem?  

I have an old TV outside that is connected to my speakers outside via an AMP. This TV doesn’t have ARC support so I have an audio extractor to connect to my AMP.  It also won’t throughout CEC to my AMP so I have an IR repeater to connect to the AMP.  It worked flawlessly on initial setup but now my IR connection is routinely dropped and won’t work. Everything else works great. The ONLY issue is the IR connection.  I’ve seen several post about IR issues from Sonos stuff (mainly the Beam but I’ve seen a few issues with AMP too). Is this something that is going to be addressed?Im positive this is a firmware issue.  yes I have done every trouble shoot. It is not my remote (batteries new, etc etc). It is not my repeater (it works extremely well and I can reproduce the issue even when lint my remote directly at the AMP in my AV room). Hi community members! I have a question about speaker groups and hope you can help. Here’s the scenario:I have my main home theatre set up (Arc, Surrounds, Sub) as one group called “TV Room”  I have an additional set of Sonos speakers in another group called “Dining Room” whenever I’m watching TV from the Dining Room area, I use the app to connect the Dining Room speakers to the TV room speakers.  I was wondering if there is a way to use Google Assistant/Alexa to do it via voice command rather than using the Sonos App. Thanks for reading, please advise!    

I’m trying to connect a pair of Sonos Play:1 to a turntable with a Connect. What am I doing wrong?The turntable is connected to a preamp, and the preamp is connected to the Connect. How do I get the Connect to “see” the pair of Play:1 and send the music to the speakers?

Can Sonos Voice not play TuneIn stations? I’ve tried several times and the response has been something to the effect of “Sonos Voice cannot play TuneIn”. Not sure if that’s literally true or if I just haven’t found the preferred command.

I haven’t found an exact answer on the forums here, so apologies in advance if this appears to be a duplicate post, but I just need some clarification before we start doing some wiring in our house…For aesthetic purposes I am looking for a setup that allows a 5.1 setup to run on Sonos.The TV is going above fireplace within a recessed area and we don’t want a mantle for a Sonos sound bar (Arc) to sit on top of.As I understand it, there is no way to get a 5.1 setup with Sonos if you’re not going with an Arc (or Beam) and pairing with Sonos rears (Eras, One, Fives, etc.) or passive ceiling speakers powered by a Sonos Amp that is then paired with the Arc. It seems like the best I could do is a 4.1 setup with no center channel if I went with a pair of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers - each powered by a pair of Sonos Amps, is this correct?Alternatively, if I had a 5.1 setup connected to an AV receiver could I connect a Sonos Port? If so, what is required to easily switch between TV audio and

All Of a sudden I cannot connect to any of my 3rd party streaming services like Spotify or Amazon music through Sonos. “Connection is lost” or cannot add to queue. the spotify app works and I can then add the music to the  Sonos speakers that way. Alexa voice controls have also stopped working on Sonos products where they are built in.

As of today 24th February the Sonos app on my iPhone and iPad prompt that an app update is available. However when I go to the App store I am running the latest available version of the app. I am running S2 version of the app on version 15.1 which is the version available on the App store. All my Sonos devices are running 14.20.2 Build 70437250I tried removing the app completely and then downloading it reconnecting and logging in but it prompts again that an app update is required but it is running the latest version already.Finally on my wife’s android tablet the same thing happens.

I see that the latest Controller app for MacOS is 15.3.  The download page gives me 15.2.  Is the updated controller available for download?

Hello I have the arc. Mini sub and two Sonos ones . The ones are on the wall at the rear however my sofa is against the wall as well. I have no way of placing them behind me. if I replace the ones with the era’s would they still work not being behind me?they would be placed on stands right in the rear corner of the room. mid this would still work how should they face ? Into the room or at 45deg into the room or turned to face me on the sofa.also I have never had great success with atmos movies with the arc and ones I would hope the eras would fix this.

I bought 2 Era 300’s to replace my One’s in a surround setup that has an Arc and two Subs, and Truplay no longer works. It gets to a point where you normally would be directed to turn the phone around, but instead it says “Trueplay Problem” and gives no details. If I remove the Era 300’s then Trueplay works fine. My S2 app is up to date, my IOS and phone are updated and supported. I updated drivers for my wireless network, unplugged it and reconnected, and all is fine with that. Rebooted my cable modem. I unplugged my Sonos equipment several times. Everything appears to be fine, and the Era 300’s work as expected, except no Trueplay.I have a Beam, 2 Ones and a sub in the other room and Trueplay works fine for them. Anyone have any ideas?

Playing in groups (4 rooms) my speakers connect and disconnect on and off. Not the same.I have changed the channels. But no effect. It is like SONOS is constanct seraching for connection and turns on and of.Very disturbing. Regards Carl

I already installed the Amazon Alexa app on my phone and it doesn't show up in Sonos app. When I tried to add a device directly from Alexa and search for Sonos, after some instructions they finaly inform me "You are not elegible to enable this skill due to geographical restructions". I'm from Chile and I can't belive this issue in a product that is not cheap. There are a lot of cheaper options in the market that use Alexa and works pefectly. Sonos assistant is limited and just support Sonos Radio like default app. So limited. I'm very happy with sound quality by the way, but is important to me have a good assistant. I want to confirm if the service is avalilable at my country and if not, Sonos is thinking to add it and when?

Not sure if this has already been asked for, but it would be nice if the Sonos App showed which tunes were in Atmos for the new Era 300 speaker. Currently my work around is to find an Atmos album in Amazon via my Amazon Music app, then search again in the Sonos App to play it. It’s a bit of a faff!

I am a Sonos user and LOVE my 5’s, 1’s and other Sonos gear. We are building a new home and plan on putting in Sonos wired in-ceiling architectural speakers back to an AV closet with Sonos Amps. We would like to do the same outside for the covered patio. Are the in-celing speakers capable of being installed outdoors in a covered patio, able to withstand temperatures and possibly the elements, or is the only way to do this is to purchase the outdoor set that are installed with a bracket. Any experience out there on this design?

I would like to configurate my new Sub with my existing Arch and Move. I tried through the app but bluetooth it doesn’t recognize it. When I plug it light is white, when I push longer light is blinking orange.Any help?

Are there any plans to add rewind/pause for live radio in BBC Sounds on Sonos? These features are available in the native app and also in the plugin for Logitech Media Server so they must be available to the API

I’m not able to connect to my Sonos system. I travel from from one place to another Both has worked. I did reset the router, I connect directly to the router via cable. Patrick Spence claims it’s unrelated to the ongoing legal battle between the two companies and insists Assistant is now more of a “heavy engineering lift” than it was before. “Right now, we don’t see it being worth the effort. We hope Google will take another path that will allow us to continue to offer it in more of a lightweight manner the way we do today.”’Does this mean that those new speakers cannot be controlled by an additional Google Nest speaker either via the Google Home integration? And will this lack of Google Assistant support eventually affect owners of existing Sonos devices, such as the Sonos One/Move
