Describe your setup. What model is your TV? What Dolby Atmos content are you streaming? From what app and device?

Thanks so much Guitarsuperatar for your response I figured it out. But just so anyone else has this issue ; 

my TV mode is LGqned85 

I went into the sound settings and clicked on “pass through “ it was earlier on PCM so that’s why it wasn’t showing up as Atmos. 
 

obviously you should be playing Atmos content for it to show up as that
