Brand new arc and sub setup yesterday.  Connected to formovie theater (also brand new) via arc3.  Sounds great, but during periods of any sustained front-channel sound that channel pulses like it comes in short, half-second waves. All the other sound is normal.  So eg for batman begins Nolan always has these long sustained notes in the background—all sound is perfect but that, front-channel note is pulsing in volume, like a wave of maybe ½ second from peak to peak.  Same thing watching football…the announcers and sound of the game are all fine, but when the crowd cheers, the cheers, and just that channel alone, pulse like that.   And by the way it is a significant pulse, not just a minor thing I’m picking up on, but significant enough to make it hard to hear the other sounds.  Hope that is a clear explanation, not something I’ve ever heard before so struggling to explain it in words! thanks for any input you can give.

Hi allI have a very simple setup:Samsung UE65JS9500L Apple TV (Gen 4) Sonos ARCI typically only use the Apple TV remote to switch on and off my Apple TV and control it. I only use the Apple TV to watch things.Now, seldomly my TV switches on when I turn on the Apple TV. But, my TV *always* turns off when I turn of the Apple TV.So somewhere something is not correct. Any ideas?Thanks!

I’ve got an Arc, Sub, and two One SLs set up in a surround system. They’re hooked up to a Samsung Frame. Initially when I paused and then unpaused the TV, the sound wouldn’t resume for a second or two. It was annoying, but not unbearable. Lately, however, the sound will randomly drop for lengthy periods--30 seconds to a couple of minutes. Sometimes I’ll have to back out of whatever app I’m using entirely to get it working again. There’s no discernable pattern to this that I can find. It happens whether I’m using the native apps on the TV, Nvidia Shield, or Google TV with Chromecast. Everything is hooked up to WiFi; the system is strong (the video, which is also hooked up via wifi, is never pixelated when this happens). Any ideas? Thanks!

I’ve signed up to Amazon Music Unlimited and am trying to locate good Spatial content. I created a new Playlist in the Amazon Music app and added a Playlist to it but when I go to Amazon Music in Sonos app and My Music - Playlists I don’t see that Playlist I’ve created. Is it just a question of waiting for servers to replicate do you think?

Hi! I have had a Sonos One with Google Assistance which have worked perfectly when asked the assistant to play a song. I recenty bought a Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub and two Sonos One SL. These new speakers are in my TV-room and my old Sonos One in the living room.When asking the assistant to play a song it either chooses to play from my old Sonos One or my new speakers without my old Sonos One.I can´t group all the speakers in the app since I have to have three rooms to be able to do that. Anyone has a solution for this? RegardsPhilip

Can I connect an iPod classic to a Sonos Era100 speaker via line in an stream to rest of speakers

I have a Sonos One connected to the System in my MBR. I’ve set a daily alarm playing radio. Worked fine till Oct 23 recently, after some update to the controller.Now this Sonos One will disappear from the system randomly, not frequently but couple times per week. There will be days where the alarm will ring but not playing the radio but just the alarm ring. I think this meant that the One wasn’t connected to the WIFI (with flashing white LED), but opening the app shows that this One is not connected to the system and I have to re-add this One. Just today, the alarm wasn’t ringing at all. I checked it and there was this green steady LED light, and when I pressed the vol the green went away and the flashing white LED, the One is not connected to the system again and I have to re-add it.I’m guessing this One lost the WIFI connection maybe in the middle of the night, but I am not sure what is wrong, cos the WIFI is working correctly (have rebooted the mesh router to troubleshoot it but can

I have a Sonos soundbar on my Panasonic smart tv plus a pair of 1speakers(I think!) in the same room and a pair in a second room.I want to add a soundbar plus speakers to a second tv in a different room. Can I do this via my existing system or does it have to be separate?Apologies for the rather dumb question but I’m totally clueless about anything tech.Regards and thanks in advance

I have a new Sonos Roam and pleased with it so far but cant get it to connect to my laptop via Bluetooth!Both are on the same Wi Fi network, it is connecting to other devices seamlessly and I can see the Roam in the recognised Bluetooth devices, but cant get an option to actually connect it!Would appreciate any advice and thanks

About 2 months ago the issue has started popping up.The issue: Randomly throughout the day (if watching for 2-3 hours, maybe occurs once) there is a full sound cutout on all my sonos devices for about 5-10 seconds. When this happens I tend to look at the status light. I see it be that standard dim white for those 5-10 seconds then it’ll turn a bright green for about 1 second then the sound comes back on all devices. Hello,My Sonos Roam (owned for almost 2 years) suddenly won’t power on even after staying on a charger (both wireless charging and with cord). I’ve tried doing the 12 second power button hold for a factory reset but it doesn’t do anything. Please help! 

I only use computer to control the S1 speaker and now it tells me that it connects to the speaker but the dialog box stays saying it doesn’t connect to my speaker.  I click under more options and choose connect to existing system and it tells me it connects.  But I can’t get past this dialog box. 

Had to trawl this forum last week setting up a Ray to work with a 2022 model LG TV but pieced together a solution from people who shared theirs.Tonight I added the TV box remote as a second remote via the app which works instantly. However, now the TV remote no longer controls the volume.  I’ve reset everything on the TV. The Sonos mobile app says the remote is already paired.  Is there a way to select and unpair remote via the app?  Losing my mind and so much time with this. Poor documentation from Sonos and poor product design by LG. 

Hey everyone, my current set up is an Era 100 with an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM connected with a line in (3.5 mm cord) from the turntable to the Sonos adapter into the speaker. Sound is good, but I am only getting mono sound (right side). I am not getting stereo sound. What would I be doing wrong?Can I go line in (3.5mm cable) from the turn table right into the Sonos adapter? Or are there other cables I should be using to split the left & right, then bring them back together in the 3.5mm jack the Sonos needs? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just bought the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable.  Can I use a wireless Sonos home theater system to listen or will I always need a line in speaker for this product?  

Hi,I own the set mentioned above (not sure about the model of a TV but I know it can support 5.1 and Atmos as well, the TV is pretty new-a year or two max three old). I had it working for the past year.Something probably changed in my setup and 5.1 no longer works correctly, when streaming Netflix, or using any other app with 5.1/Atmos. I don’t know what or why.When using not 5.1 apps, like YouTube, I used to be able to get all surrounds to play on the same volume as my main Beam, now I am not able to do it, even though I play with volumes and settings in the app.Now my surrounds make broken sound, similiar to what is supposed to play and it’s much quieter (like 90% queiter) than Beam.Surrounds work as supposed, when playing Xbox on the same TV (with 5.1 as well). TV set to pass through all the time, Google Chromecast as well. Something is off and I can’t find what.Many thanks for your help.

I have a Beam (gen 1) and two play:1’s running on S2. I have acquired a connect (gen 1), which obviously only works on S1. The reason I got a connect is to integrate a vinyl player into the system. I was mis sold the connect on eBay by someone claiming it was S2 compatible, but alas upon receiving it, it is the older generation.My question is; I know I can operate two separate systems on the same network, but can I split the same speakers across the two systems? For example; run the beam and play 1’s on s2 as my home theatre set up, but then use the same pair of play 1’s with the connect on s1, as speakers for the vinyl?thanks 

Hello, I’ve been reading and it sounds like this is possible, but I want to double-check. In a condo where living and dining rooms are essentially one large space, I have a Beam wired to my Samsung smart TV in the “Living Room” and two new Era 100’s in a stereo pair assigned to the “Dining Room” in Sonos.I can stream music via AirPlay to the Living Room or Dining Room and group them. But now I’d like to try adding the Era 100’s to the Beam as surrounds.Is this dual purpose setup possible? (From what I’ve read it should be.) Will the surrounds introduce delay to the TV audio? Is it better to keep them separate and use different speakers as surrounds?I also have a Sonos One gen 2 and Sonos One SL stereo pair in the bedroom, but that’s a separate room.

How can I connect two phones to my sonos speakers?

I upgraded my eero system to an eero 6 mesh system that I need to use to get music through my old, brick building.  I have 9 Sonos speakers 7 are all playing one thing, 2 won’t play - or if they play it shuts the others off.  They all used to work together - now they do not.Suggestions?  I’ve tried everything!

Sometimes I get the Sonos chime instead of the Spotify playlist that I’ve scheduled with the alarm. How do I fix this?
