Installation problems when adding a Beam gen2 to a system which contains two Play3 speakers.

When I installed my new Sonos Beam gen 2 it ended up in a separate group (vardagsrum2) from my two existing Play3 speakers that are in the group "vardagsrum". I can activate both groups at the same tme when I want to listen to music in the Sonos app, but I have not found a way to activate all the speakers in the two groups at the same time when  I use the TV. How can  I fix this annoying problem? I seem to be getting the same problem with arplay2 (works only with the beam).

In Sonos speak the speakers are in “rooms”. Rooms can be “grouped”. See https://support.sonos.com/article/group-and-ungroup-rooms I have no idea why you could group the Play 3’s with the Beam, but not the other way round.

Do you wish to use the Play:3’s as surrounds?  If so, see this link:

Thanks for your hep and the link to instructions on installing the Play:3 speakers as surround speakers. That was the bes possible solution. I am very pleased with the result.
