Hello,I have two Sonos Ones that I have now added as a stereo pair.  This seems to work great except for one thing.If I use an Alexa skill, the output only seems to come out of one speaker.  For example, if I open the Face the Music skill, I only hear the skill from one of the speakers.I believe that if I have a pair of Echo Dots then the skills will work in stereo, although I haven't enough dots to try this myself.Should Sonos be able to do the same thing or is it always limited to a single speaker for this kind of thing?I should say that I have enabled Alexa on both speakers.Ideally I would want Alexa to treat the 2 Ones as a single stereo device.

I am sick of Sonos and wish I hadn’t invested so much.  The speakers are fantastic, but the software interface is awful.  We are constantly losing connection to speakers.  Speakers not being found. Speakers are dropping out.  Volumes changing.   And before you start telling me it is the wifi connection - it isn’t.  That is stable, and we don’t have any problems with anything else.   I want proper help and don’t want to be given the runaround.   D

I got  Ray for Christmas . I connected it via the optical cable to my Sony Tv. The only problem is that the ray and the speakers on the tv seem to play together. I get round this by using the mute button on the tv control. My partner wants to be able to control the ray using the tv remote ( IR ) and not have to use the Sonos app.i have been in the tv sound menu but have not been able to sort it . Any advice /comments appreciated

How do I know if my Mini Sub is working? The white light is on and I think I have carried out the connection but on checking whether I have connected I get the message on the App that the sub is not detected. I have Wi Fi and the Sub has power. On the app the sub has a red dot and the words 'not registered' beside it. Any advice?      

My Sonos move won't connect to my phone after I connect it to the internet. When I do search for device it won't show up. I can't access the system or do any updates because it won't show up through my internet. I would like to try and use the S1 app, but I can't downgrade my software on the Sonos move because I can't connect it to my phone. There was a time when I could at least use the Bluetooth setting, but even now I can't switch it to Bluetooth. I'm going to be honest. I have tried just about everything I could find on the internet to make this work and so far nothing has.

Hello Sonos Community!  I am pretty new to Sonos but I’m going to buy SONOS IN-CEILING SPEAKERS (PAIR).I wondered where to best place the speakers in the dining room and kitchen areas? There is no TV in this area and it is simply an open plan kitchen/ dining room so we’d like to play music! Also how many speakers would you go for?  Thanks in advance!      

I have a new roam. I have followed all instructions and set up but when it says something is playing, I have no sound. My volume is up. Any ideas? 

Hi Guys i have installed ceiling speakers and an amp in my ceiling space of closed in patio. we use it for airplay streaming and it works perfectly. Just wondering the best way to connect the TV in that area to those speakers as we didn’t run a HDMI from the TV have read people have purchased a Sonos soundbar and connected to a TV and then the soundbar and amp/ceiling speakers connect wirelessly.  would like to check this is correct and if so can we purchase any sound bar or is there only specific ones this will work with

Treble adjustment not working on S1 app for 'old' play 5 systems.   The 'Bass' slider and the balance slider as well as the loudness knob do have a clear effect but the moving the 'treble' slider has no noticeable affect at all.

Sonos, After all this waiting. And after multiple articles. And after multiple phone calls to your service reps (including today), I’m now being told that you cannot group your Sonos system devices with your Google Home devices (after being told for months and more than a year that the aid be able to group them). Even the rep I spoke with today tried to help me and didn’t find out it wasn’t possible until he spoke to a system engineer. You can do it with Amazon devices, but STILL not with Google devices In all honesty, what is the point of adding Google assistant to Sonos if you can’t even use Sonos speakers with Google Speakers together in a group? It’s pretty useless for me to be in living room, have to get up and walk to my kitchen to say “hey google, play x in my Living Room” and then walk back.

So I just set up the Sonos Arc soundbar that supports eARC. It works with my 2020 65" Frame TV until I change the eARC setting on the Frame TV to Auto. The sound mutes and I can't get it to play until I turn eARC off. Anyone else have this issue? I’ve messed around with this for a few hours to no avail. 

I would like to purchase the Sonos Era 300 stands but am concerned about their stability on carpet, given the speaker’s weight.  I know Sanus makes a version with carpet spikes but the speaker height is too low for my setup.  Does anyone have experience with using the Sonos stands on thick carpet? 

Hi all, Adding my hat to the ring for this already existing topic...I’m this close to going back to a Bluetooth solution for my audio needs because this issue is super lame … I used to think my older MacBookPro running MacOS Mojave had something to do with my problems, but I’ve just upgraded to a brand new 2023 MBP running the latest MacOS Sonoma 14.2 and the same problem persists… _ I stream my video to a projector and send audio through AirPlay to an early 2023 Beam, two SL One’s for surround, & a Sub Mini - WHEN it works, it works great._ I use Safari 17.2 for my video stream_ I briefly tried Firefox but did not see an improvement so went back to my go-to Safari._ I’ve tested with Amazon Prime, ATV+, Hulu, and Netflix and the problem is there. The issue is not with the content providers._ If you pause the video stream for ANY duration then upon resuming video, the audio will have dropped out… every single time. The ONLY way I have found to re-establish the audio connection is to

Limited high frequency sound reproduction. My Sonos system consists of a Beam (Gen 2), two One SL speakers, and a sub mini.  All are connected for sound to a Samsung LED TV (QN65 Q60 series) via HDMI e-Arc).  My internet connection is wireless.  Using the Sonos 2 App on an iPhone 12.I just purchased a pair of Era 100s, hoping to add as additional surrounds, so I would have 4 surround speakers in total.  However, the Sonos 2 App apparently will connect the Era 100 speakers only in separate rooms. So, after going through the automatic set up routine, I now have Family Room 1 control for the Beam, One SL (LS), One SL (RS) and the sub mini. The set up routine creates Family Room 2 for one of the Era 100 speakers and Family Room 3 for the other. I cannot find a way to add the Era 100s to Family Room 1.  I have been connected all the components to the Sonos 2 App using the group option by including Family Rooms 1, 2 and 3 in a group.  But this causes two is

Hello! this is a two part question(1) I am looking to install an Arc + Sub Gen 3 + In Ceiling Speakers (+ amp), but I am uncertain how many in ceiling speakers would be sufficient for my living room. The room size is 24”x13” (322 sqft or 30 sqm). Would you suggest 2 or 4 speakers for this size room? (2) I spoke to someone on the phone at Sonos and they said that given this set up, the in ceiling speakers could not be used as “true surrounds”. He said they will produce sound but cant be set as dedicated surrounds and would only play the normal left and right as the tv would. However, everything i have read online suggests that he might be incorrect. Can anyone confirm if there is an option to set the in ceiling speakers as dedicated surrounds in the Arc + Sub Gen 3 + In Ceiling speaker set up? Thank you for your help!Joe

Dear community members,I’m living in a 2 floor house in wich I have several SONOS system. Same Wifi available on the 2 floors.1st floor : ARC, SUB, 2 One + 1 One in the kitchen. ARC + kitchen are connected to ALEXA2nd floor : 1 Move connected to Alexa, 1 ONE connected to ALEXA, 2 “old” ONE (not connected because not possible when they were launched) When I’m in a room in which the SONO is connected to Alexa and request Alexa to lauch radio or Music, Music starts in another room sometimes on the other floor ! I get crazy ! And often when I then request to stop, ALEXA doesn’t understand or stops music on another SONO.Another frequent issue : when I ask a question to ALEXA, it takes sometime more then 30 seconds to get an answer, often nothing happens ! More then one year ago, I never faced these issues, even with the same configuration !Does someone face the same issue ?

I’m about to install Logitech Circle View Doorbell and Camera. I’d like to utilize one or more of my Sonos One Speakers through AirPlay on Apple HomeKit. Is this possible?  I’d like to avoid buying Apple’s Home Hub.

HelloI have a Sonos Amp. I have connected it to my Firestick 4K on my Benq HD Projector via Line Out, and on the Sonos app I have set the audio delay to 75ms. It is working brilliantly, the lip-sync is spot on.However, the two speakers in the room are wall-mounted and are not in the desired location for the projector screen (they are from an old hi-fi). They are good speakers. Moving the speakers to the right location would be very disruptive, I’d have to cut holes in ceiling and walls.So….I am looking to buy a couple of Era 300 or a pair of Five speakers, and using these with my projector instead, pairing them, and using the line-in. This would allow me to place the speakers on stands either side of the projector screen (so in front of and facing the people watching the films). HOWEVER everything I read says this setup isn’t really suited to TV.I’m not using a TV, I’m using a projector, and the room setup means a soundbar isn’t possible (the projector screen drops down in front of a d

Question:Does the Move 2 actually join a Wifi 6Ghz band or is just compatible with a router that supports WiFi 6 and will default to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz? I have MacBook x 2 and iPad that are WiFi 6 compatible. I can actually see that they are using the 6Ghz band in router settings. Move 2 shows 5Ghz and sometimes 2.4Ghz connection(s).Using an Asus ZenWiFi Pro ET12_WiFi 6E Router

Hi team, I just got a Sonos Arc and two Era 100s to use as surrounds, but as I’ve been using it I've noticed that the only sound I’m getting is Stereo PCM. While this does still sound 100x better than what I used to have, I would like to get as much quality sound as I can out of this system. Here’s my set up as of now: Sonos Arc → HDMI 3 ARC Port (no eARC port, old plasma tv)Apple TV 4K → HDMI 2Era 100s as rear surrounds (back left and right)I have it true tuned and everything as well. Is there any way to get a higher sound quality than base Stereo PCM with only my ARC Port and no eARC? Also, as a side question, Should I keep the Eras behind or should I move closer to the sides or the front as front left and right channels? Thanks in advance for any and all advice!!
