Hi,I am having trouble getting a Playbar to recognize the volume controls from a new remote and am looking for options or advice.I have a new TCL TV and an old Playbar. The Playbar worked great with the previous TV via optical audio, including recognizing the TV's IR remote volume up/down commands. The new TCL remote is Bluetooth and IR. I have turned off Bluetooth on the TV and confirmed the remote is now using IR-only by covering/uncovering its IR emitter with the TV receiving/not receiving commands.During pairing with this new remote, the Playbar will recognize it has seen a volume + signal, though it is temperamental -- the remote has to be in about the "right" position. However, the Playbar never recognizes the next steps of pressing the volume + button three times.I have tried different batteries and I have tried with the TV on, off, and unplugged. In all cases, the Playbar will recognize the first volume +, even if temperamental to position, but will not recognize three volume +

How do I pair the arc plus sub to two era 300s ?

I have Sonos Era 100, is it possible to connect to it microphone like in the picture for karaoke? 

I had this set up, working previously, but no longer working when I transitioned back to listen to some Apple Music. I’m not sure how to get it working again. I have disabled, the speakers on the TV and it’s running through optical and I’ve gone to the settings on the Sonos amp and cut off the IR. Any other thoughts. 

I have a Zonebridge BR100 & a Connect ZP90, this was working fine up until about a week ago when my Router died and I had to replace it.The new router is a TP Link Archer AX72 and is working great for everything else. As soon as I connect the ethernet cable to the ZoneBridge my internet speeds in the house plummet from around 40Mbps to less than 200-300Kbps, the TP-Link Router tells me that a new device has connected but nothing can be found on the Sonos App, the Network lights are flashing on the ZB. I have reset the ZB and the App but still no devices can be found. As soon as I disconnect the ethernet cable from the ZB my internet speeds in the house go back to normal.I don’t know what else to try.Any advice gratefully received!! 

I have a Samsung TV on my patio that is connected to ethernet that I use YouTube TV on. is there anyway that I could push what is playing on the TV with YouTube TV or Apple TV? If I’m using Apple TV that’s been built into the TV and push it to a Sonos amplifier wirelessly so I can use the speakers on the patio to play the sound?

Hi, I have a second gen Play 5, 3rd gen amazon echo dot, and Project Carbon turntable. I currently have my turntable connected to the play 5 through the line in connection through the phono preamp associated with my turntable.  I would really like to have the echo dot connected to the play 5 as well as the turntable to make it a smart speaker.  I was wondering if this is possible with the turntable connected at the same time? If so, what would my options be?  I also have an era 100 and gen 1 move if that matters for options.  Thanks in advance for the help!  

Does the Sonos Five speaker play analog output when music is streamed to it over wifi? (i.e. Victrola wifi turntable, Apple/Youtube Music, etc). Is it converted to analog when it is received by the Five speaker or is it converted at the source?I guess in other words, can analog audio be played over wifi streaming devices?

My Sonos Play 1 was having trouble with Spotify. It wouldn’t play the next song and would be stuck on the previous song. I decided to unplug it and remove it from my Sonos app to re-add it.Now, as I try to re-add it, it won’t work at all. I’ve tried factory resetting it, but even that fails. You’re meant to hold down the volume + sign at the same time as the play/pause button while plugging the device into an outlet. You continue holding until the white light starts blinking orange, and then start blinking green. It NEVER starts to blink green and I’ve held it for well over a minute… The Sonos app identifies that there’s a Sonos Play 1 system in the area, but when I try to connect it, it never “chimes” and therefore can not be found.  I’ve had 2 Play 1 sono devices for about 10 years and tbh, it’s extremely disappointing software and always has problems. 

As if the loud pop wasn’t enough, since I added more speakers to my Sonos system (I’d say that it was after adding the Sub Mini) I’m unable to send music directly via the Music app on iOS.My Sonos equipment is a combination of Arc + 2 Era 300’s + Sub Mini.The system does appear listed below, as you can see (it’s the one called “Comedor”): But I select it, even though it looks as if it was sending sound, nothing would play and after a few minutes the streaming to that speaker set would be cancelled and the sound will start playing on the iPhone instead.Surprisingly enough, if I add another speaker to the selection (even if it’s a Homepod), the sound will be send to the Sonos system. However, if the song is in Dolby Atmos, it will be sent in Stereo format instead (so it basically ignores the Dolby Atmos format. This does only seem to be happening when I only select the Sonos speaker system.I’m not sure if this is due to changes in iOS 17 or to the fact that I added the Sub Mini to my set

Sorry if this has been asked but I currently have two Sonos amps- one for in ceiling wired speakers and another for exterior speakers. id like to buy a set of 300s to connect to the tv for sports - not worried about surround sound.  My question:(1) can I connect the 300’s to my Samsung Frame TV via Bluetooth or WiFi  and (2) connect them to the interior speakers via the amp?

I have a brand new Sonos Arc and Sub Gen 3 and as the title describes, the AirPlay connection drops typically after one song. I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max with AirPlay and Apple Music. The problem occurs on my MacBook as well. After one song, if I’m lucky, two, the connection seemingly drops. I still see that the song is playing but the sound drops off. If I switch back to iPhone audio then back to Sonos system, it reconnects again and will play (and weirdly the volume changes) but then after a song, same thing.I’ve scoured both these forums as well as Apple community forums and troubleshooted just about every suggestion under the sun. Reset my Sonos devices, reset iPhone and Mac, delete and reinstall Sonos app, reset cable/router as well as multiple factory resets on the Sonos products. Set up Sonos as a wired SonosNet system. If there is a Sonos FAQ on this I wasn’t able to find it…I’m going to be setting up Sonos gear in a second home. I’ve seen a number of responses on how to setup Sonos gear in a second location and I’m not sure which route to take.It sounds like I can just use a single Sonos login/account and just add a “second system” or add “new Household” (unsure if those are different terms)Questions:Can / Should I create a WiFi network that has the exact same SSID WiFi Name and Password in the second home or will that confuse the app? When I begin to set up the Sonos gear in the second home do I... just start adding the gear piece by piece? Would it just “gray out” gear that is not physically present and in a different geographic location? or create a “new household”?  (I don’t see this option in the app currently) Or is there a way to “Add a new system” to group the gear together. (I don’t see this option in the app currently) Ideally I would be able to flip back and forth (location to location

Hello community ! I recently bought a BEAM Gen 2 and I’m trying to setup it on my laptop. I already read Using Sonos as PC Speakers and How to set up your Sonos Beam on a Windows 10 PC posts but I still have trouble to succeed…I have plugged an USB to S/PDIF DAC and configured it just like on the first steps of the second post I mentioned earlier. I can’t proceed with the step that demand to define “ Dolby Digital “ as “supported formats” since my Windows version seems to be updated compared with the original post and I can’t reach this advanced setting window. But it works very well when I plug some speakers with a jack cable on the DAC so I guess the minimal setup is ok.But when I plug the BEAM to the DAC via the optical cable, no sound is out.The BEAM works well in WIFI (when I display music on it, from Spotify for instance) and the HDMI cable seems good too since it works well on a PC screen.I’m sure there is not much to do to make it work, but I have hard time to find it out… And

Hey I have an arc, and 2 rear in walls connected to amp for surround for my tv watching setup (let’s call it “tv setup”)in addition to that - I have few one’s spread in my house and kitchen and a five in my balcony. i want be able to watch tv with the arc and in walls, and in addition to play Spotify on the rest of the speakers including the “tv setup” when want to be in “music” mode.how easy is it to switch between the 2 setups ?

My Arc, Sub and 300’s drop music while playing from Spotify. They are connected as surrounds for my TV. Surrounded works with TV. Only family room drops after listening to music for a while. 

Just bought a Sonos Ray soundbar. Despite the assurances of the John Lewis salesman that everything would work with my new Sony TV - I can’t get the remote control to work.  My TV remote isn’t IR and the Sonos has no HDMI input - so am I stuck with no remote control facility?  It would be clumsy but do Sonos make a simple remote control? Not convenient to have to log into my phone and app just to change volume level!

Edit: problem solved! It was a nearby device!! 

My Sony Bravia TV has been using it for more than a year and using the Sonos beam speaker and just happen to stop and switch automatic to TV speaker.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi all,I’m using two Sonos One’s as surround speakers in combination with the Sonos Beam. I’ve had no issues before, but this week i heard some strange noise from those surround speakers. Espacially the talking sounds like echo/cracking. I’ve tried resetting both surround speakers which helped, but only for a few days..i’ve send data to Sonos: 576926472.thanks in advance.  

Have a new Sub Mini paired with a new Beam. Have old sub paired with old sound bar. Neither sub will pair with system. 2x long chat sessions with SONOS support. Have tried everything. Factory resets. Rebooting WiFi. Converting router to bridge mode. Hard wiring subs into Eero node while resetting and trying to pair. All I get when doing a factory reset is an alternating green and blue flashing LED. Never just green. System sees them and asks if I want to add. When I try, same error message every time, did not detect a button press. Please HELP. 

I purchased a home recently and I'm trying to understand the existing setup and how I can integrate a turntable. There's a receiver that connects to multiple sets of speakers throughout the house and then there are 5 Sonos Ports, one for each zone. If I connect a turntable to the input on one of the ports, will that allow me to play it across any zones like I can with the app? Or will I only get output to the zone controlled by the port I connect to? Also, do I need an additional preamp or anything? I'm a total idiot when it comes to this stuff. Thank you!

Hello. I’m sending this to see if I can get into connect with someone who can assist me in setting up my beam 1 to work on a surround system with two play 1’s. I’ve had it connected together before, but I just recently moved and for some reason the only one I can get to stay connected to the wifi is the beam 1. I’ve tried downgrading to S1 and multiple factory resets. I don’t know if this issue is a regular thing or if something might be wrong with one of the play 1’s, but any help is appreciated 

Multiple issues w Napster on Sonos app, mainly:“No connection” error fairly often and without cause  “Favorites” list is filled with scores of nonsensical titles and artists (see screenshot). I have no idea how they got there. Even if I wanted to “unheart” a specific track it’s impossible since no such artist/song exists and obviously tapping it leads nowhere. Scrolling to bottom of a long list such as artist tracks, albums, etc, it spontaneously scrolls by itself again to very top. There is NO method I can find to fully clear the Favorites, My Songs, Albums, etc lists which by now are too long t manage.What I have done, all not solving these issues:Deleted then reinstalled NapsterDeleted data and cache of Sonos appTried Napster both signed in or out to my Sonos accountLogged to Napster web page but data there isn’t synced to the Sonos app, so no luck Now, if Sonos is incapable, unwilling, or indifferent to fix a simple music app, then why offer Napster service in the first place and f
