Hi,

I have a Sonos Move and would like at connect it to my record player. The record player has a 3.5 mm audio jack output. I’ve purchased a 3.5 mm to USB connector and I can’t get it play through the move unit. Does it have capability to do this or is that only  possible with Move 2?

It‘s only possible with Move 2 and also just with the original Sonos adapter.

Generic USB connectors are inappropriate, you must use the SONOS converter.

How about the Sonos Roam?

How about the Sonos Roam?

The Roam doe not take Audio input other than via BT or WiFi.

The Move 2, Era 100 and 300 will all accept Line in audio with the Sonos 3.5mm to USB adapter.

Alternatively the Play 5, Five, Port and Amp, will also accept Line in via 3.5mm or Phono jacks.
