I have a playbar and 2 1 sl and get intermittent ound loss do to wifi issues. Looking to switch to sononet but how will the android app work if the speakers are  noton my default wifi network

My Roam Power On/Off button is depressed and can not snap back to the default setting.  As a result I can not push in the button to pair, turn on or off and then not use. Contacted the Sonos support desk and they said I broke the button and since out of warranty there was nothing they could do or provide any advice. Any similar experience or advice.  Thanks

Spotify shuffle has three states: not shuffled, shuffled, smart shuffled. The third option will let Spotify recommend and add songs to your queue and playlist. However, Sonos only have two. When enabling shuffling on Sonos, it will actually enable smart shuffle on Spotify, leading to unwanted songs in my playlist.A current workaround is just disconnect and revoke spotify approval to sonos. I think it’s the problem from Sonos side.

I am looking to replace an old analogue hi-fi with a new wireless up-to-date system. I would like to have 3 sets of Era100 speakers across 3 different rooms in the house. I would like to play CDs, records, stream music and connect to the TV. I have been told the Amp only has one line-in so I wouldn’t be able to connect both a CD player and a turntable? Can anyone recommend what I would need to be able to connect everything? Thanks!

How do I delete an old Music Library folder that was previously linked to an old pc that is no longer?I have no Manage area in my settings. Want to remove the songs so when I hit them to play I wont get the message that it cant find \\xxxxxxx-PC.Using S1 AppThanks, Brad

Whether I use the Sonos app to listen to Pandora or cast to the Sonos Arc from the Pandora app, the AutoPlay feature does not work.  However, AutoPlay does work from the Pandora app if I use Bluetooth to my car or other non-Sonos speakers.  I emailed and discussed this issue with Sonos customer support and received the reply below - basically, they know this is a problem and have no get-well date.  My questions:Has this been fixed yet (I cancelled my Pandora Premium subscription so I cannot check if it works)? Does anyone else have this problem or an update?Responses from Sonos Support Specialist (Aug 2023):“Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any additional information or a timeline as to when you can expect to see this feature available when listening via Sonos.”“They [engineering] have confirmed that the AutoPlay feature is not supported when listening from a Sonos device, regardless of whether you use the Pandora app or the Sonos app.”

Hi everyone,  I have a massed a bunch of speakers mainly SL1’s and a few ARC’s and subs. My question is naming the speakers and rooms. I have a room say “Garage” and in it is 4 SL1’s one each corner of the room and a sub and a arc.  How would you go about naming them all and setting up the room? I’m just getting confused a bit on the differences of the hierarchy.Then the subs seem to disappear from the main app is that because it’s already added to the room? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Here is my issue: I have a Sonos system with 9 speakers. I have two active wifis: Wifi A and wifi B. The system/speakers are connected to wifi A but I would like to connect them to wifi B. How to do this? How to the change the wifi for all speakers / system?I managed to switch a few speakers to wifi B by going to the network settings in S2 app but it is not working for all speakers. hi there.I have a mixture of devices including older models of one, three and five.  Also a sound bar.  There are also some newer one’s.I have been avoiding upgrading as I am not sure all will continue to work as they do today.I get the pop up all the time, but ignore.BBC sounds has today stoped working and I am being told Must I upgrade and will my devices still work…any help appreciated, as they cost a lot of money and I don’t want to have to start to replace, when they are working perfectly.thanks in advance 

In blue tooth the system is beautiful.  I can’t seem to get roam to connect with the playbar for watching tv. 

I am using the Sonos App on and XR10 iPhone with all software up to date for both the phone and the app. I follow the initial directions to set up my move speaker, The speaker and the phone see each other and connect, the app then says lets connect to my WiFi network. It is the correct one and I confirm it is the same one my phone is logged into. It asks me for the password. I type it in. After that it takes a few minutes and then I see the message that the set up was successful but it may not show on my system menu (well considering my system menu is grey and I can’t get to it no great surprise)it tells me if I can’t see it to press the power button for 5 seconds, and then turn it back on. I do this and now I have messages in settings that say unable to find my sonos systemIf I go to my internet provider app and look at devices, it shows my speaker is in fact connected to my router. I have a couple of connectivity problems, connecting to the bluetooth of the pc the two sonos you have a delay of the audio during playback example youtube instead using two lines in original sonos putting I delay to 2000ms the videos on youtube and the audio of the games goes out of synch compared to the game with 1-2 seconds of delay, instead if I lower the delay by putting it low medium or high the video and audio are in sync but one of the two sonos was down the audio for a second presenting the same bluetooth problem, I don't know what to do, does anyone have solutions? Hi, I bought my elderly father the Sonos One SL and was able to set it up on his wifi. Then, he got a new iphone and the speaker stopped working. Over the phone, I couldn’t walk him through setting it back up (we even tried a factory reset), so I had him call Sonos. They told him his router, Spectrum SAX1V1R, is the culprit, with the only solution being to wire the speaker. And that is definitely not an acceptable solution. I’m seeing that SAX1V1S is incompatible with Sonos - and that router is the sister model to his, so I have to assume the router is the problem. But, I’m mystified how I was ever able to set it up successfully. Tomorrow, we’ll try to enable/disable UPnP, but is there anything else we can try? He’s not too keen on calling Spectrum and asking them to replace his router. If the router is the problem, I’m rather surprised that Sonos doesn’t support it. I have a turntable with a pre-amp and want to play this through my already existing Sonos system (speakers around the house).  I called Sonos and they said I have to hard wire the turntable to a Sonos speaker with a line-in port, however I don't want/need another speaker.  Can I use the Port or Amp to connect the turntable to the rest of my Sonos speakers? 

Hello,We recently purchased a Hisense U8K and currently have it connected to our Beam 2.  Unfortunately, when streaming Netflix content, it only streams as Stereo PCM. Edit: broadcast OTA tv is also only stereo pcm.  We have audio output set to passthrough on the TV. Playback settings on my Netflix account are set to high. The Netflix content has the 5.1 audio option selected.  The Beam is plugged into the earc port, not sure what else to try at this point.  Does anyone have any advice on what I’m doing wrong here?  Update: after some more googling, a Reddit user mentioned that playing YouTube content will cause a glitch with the audio getting stuck at stereo PCM. A restart solved the issue until you use YouTube again. 

Hey all,So for Christmas I invested in a Victrola Stream Onyx and a pair of Era 100s for my Dining Room. They look great and sound great, but whenever I attempt to add my Backyard Play:1s (stereo mode) in a group, it only plays audio out of the left channel Play:1 in the Backyard. To be honest, I have noticed it with other audio sources as well too, not just the Victrola record player. It works fine in other rooms grouped when I play it on my Arc (w/ surround Era 300s and Sub), my bedroom Beam, my Move and even my Era 300s in the Garage (in stereo mode).The only solution I have found is to take my Play:1s out of stereo mode and treat them as their own speakers in the Backyard and add them to a group individually, but that seems so counterintuitive. Any thoughts, solutions or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I get an error when trying to play the ABC News Radio station. It worked fine in the past and other ABC stations still play. I've tried accessing the station directly through Sonos Radio and via TuneIn radio but no luck. The error says that the station is no longer available. I checked the ABC website and a recent post shows that they have responded to similar questions and do not know of any reason.

I have just bought an Era100 and want to use it a the ethernet wired source to set up the “wired” network.  I have had issues with the standard wifi set up so this is a recommended path.I have done this but none of my other speakers are showing as WM:0.  They are all still showing as WM:1.Any ideas?thanks in advance

My parents have an older B&O sound system with multiple speakers, sub, etc. (don’t judge - it came with the apartment they bought a while ago). Originally there was a B&O television as well and the whole system was fairly well integrated. A couple of years later the TV broke and they had it replaced with a Sony TV. The installer used a Sonos Port which in turn was connected to a TOSlink-to-RCA converter to connect to the TV which kind of worked, but the sound relayed through it had a noticeable delay (mostly due to the TOSlink-to-RCA conversion I assume). A while later I bought them a Sonos Beam which is now their main TV speaker. The Port can be grouped with the beam and now the sound through the Port is not suffering from delays. However, when they click “Mute” on their remote both the TV and the Beam mute themselves, but the Port does not and sound continues to play through the B&O system (which the Port is connected to)So:Is there any way to automatically mute the Port

Is it possible to have a home theater setup with two Sonos SLs as the front channel speakers and then two in-ceiling speakers on an Amp as the rear channel speakers? The TV would connect to the Amp via HDMI. If this works, does the Amp need to be connected to Ethernet?

Hi,I've got a playbar, sub & 2 One’s setup for my surround sound. Been working for years, now all of a sudden, the system loses the sub & 2 One’s. I can reboot the devices and it’ll work for half hour, same if I reboot the router. I’ve removed them from the system and added back in, but still getting the same issue.I've done a diagnostics report - 1143481191Any suggestions?

I’ve noticed some strange ghostly Sonos playing, that shouldn’t be happening!If I ask Alexa (using the Sonos mic) to play something on Spotify, then stop it, then get in the car (which automatically starts Apple CarPlay and plays music from Spotify) the music in the house will continue playing too!I only noticed this because it was my wife who got in the car while I was still at home.I can’t imagine how, but is there a way I can prevent this from happening or is this a bug with Sonos, Spotify or Apple CarPlay? It has left me wondering how often this has happened when we are both out of the house!!I’m happy to run further tests/diagnostics to try and figure out the root causes. Thanks, Paul
