I have some older S1 sonos gear and recently got a couple of S2-only speakers. I want to set up a separate S2 system which is supposed to be possible.When I open my S2 app, it says it recognizes that I have an S1 system and I have two options: to just open the S1 controller or set up a new system. But the buttons only show “Open S1” or “More options”. None of the “More options” involve setting up a new system. I’m a bit lost as to how to proceed. Why don’t the buttons mirror the choices I’ve been given?I previously had started setting up my roam, but after I thought I finished it told me that in fact someone else had started setting it up already and I need to factory reset it to use it. So I factory reset it and now I just see this screen. I’m not sure why this is so difficult?! 

Please can someone explain what I doing wrong.  I bought a sonos amp and set it up in my UK setup then took it to our house abroad.  It asked to update to the new wifi network which it did but then it insisted on updating all the UK ones to the spain wifi.  I have read various guides and forum posts but none seem to do anything.  Surely this shold be as easy as clicking a button saying “add new home” or something.Anyway now back in the UK I had to setup the UK ones with the UK wifi and now it wants to move the amp on to that wifi.How the heck do I setup a second home????

Last night Sonos was working fine. I made no changes. When I woke up this morning, Sonos appeared unable to find my music files. If I browse my music by album, genre, or whatever, the UI says “no selections are available.” When I try to play a specific item from a playlist, I get an error saying that the file cannot be found. It lists a path to my NAS. It’s the correct path, and I am able to browse to that path from the File Explorer on Windows. The files is not missing. It really is there.I tried:Check for software updates. Result: an update was indeed available. I allowed it to install. No change to observed behavior. Rebooted the Sonos Connect device. Result: no change to observed behavior. Checked the Synology NAS where my music library lives to ensure that SMB 2/3 was still turned on. It was.I have a Connect in one room and two Play:1’s in another. I run the controller both as a Windows desktop app and on two iOS devices. Same symptoms in both places. All the Sonos devices run S2.

Hi there, I’ve just received a B&O Beolit 20 and already own two IKEA Symfonisk and am wondering if there is any way to connect these products? I wanted to get a Sonos bluetooth product to be able to connect everything to my Samsung Freestyle but got gifted a Beolit (which is incredible but not sure about the connectivity 😅)!  Thanks for any help, Roxane

I’ve acquired a Sonos ARC and Sub, but since I don’t have a iOS device, I was waiting for a acquaintance with an iPhone Xs to come by to help me calibrate it using TRUEPLAY. After installing the Sonos app (not Sonos S1 … by the way its very confusing reading Sonos website refering to Sonos S2 when it is not call that), going to Settings > System, and selecting my only configured room/device there is no “Trueplay” related option in any section. Can someone explain how to get it to appear?

I followed all the steps outlined to add a new radio stream - https://www.wqxr.org/shows/holiday-music/. TuneIn > MyRadio Stations > Add New Radio Station and fill in the URL field with the URL.  when I go to listen to that station I get error message:  Unable to play WQXR Holiday - the song is not encoded properly. I’ve been able to add stations in the past with no problem -- so not sure what the issue is. This is the only entry that shows an option to EDIT  Radio Station. All others offer Play, Add to Sonos Favorites, Info & Options -- but none show URL so I can’t see what might be the issue.

I just got the Audio Technica AT LP60X and I was wondering if the Sonos Era 100 would be able to work with it? As it has a line in function an adaptor that I have. But the Audio Technica came with a RCA cable ,Red and White split with a 3.5mm end to go into the AT LP60X. My main question is would I be able to use a duel end 3.5mm cable to hook up my AT LP60X into the Sonos Era 100 with its line in adapter?

I have a Sonos soundbar connected to my TV as an external speaker. I also have two Sonos Play 1 speakers that I would like to connect to the soundbar but can’t get them connected.  

How can I pair Move 2 with Ray soundbar?

I think I tried everything that I have read until now:Connecting the Apple Music to Sonos app Swithing on Dolby Atoms in Auto and Forced ON mode Played only Selected Dolby Atmos Playlist at Apple Music AppI saw that the Atmos badge is appearing while playing on iPhone speaker but not when Sonos connected.  Did I miss something ? 

Hii have some old studio monitor and was wandering if sonos have wifi receiver with xlr and/or rca output so i can link my speaker with my sonos system

I cannot connect my S1 system to my new Synology NAS (Had zero issues with my old ReadyNAS). I know there’s been many posts re this, and I’ve done what they say (SMBv1 & NTLMv1 settings on NAS). This allowed me to add the music folder on my NAS to my music library, but I can’t see any music on the sonos!I also tried using an IP address to connect music folder and goi a warning “the computer (IP---) refused to let sonos connect. Anyone able to assist?

Hi everyone. Sonos Nubie here. So I’ve looked around and I can’t seem to find a good and clear answer to my problem/question. I have a new Sonos ARC sound bar, audiosouce powered sub, and I  also have 4 in-ceiling speakers I use as surround rears and rears. These 4 speakers are powered by an aging Yamaha rx-v671 in my last setup. Is it possible to  use the Sonos arc as my LCR and power the 4 rear speakers with my Yamaha to achieve 7.1 in the Sonos environment? As well as the sub?  What Sonos devices would I need? I have a sonos system that has always had issues for years and I’m so sick of it! It’s ruining so many moments! Basically the system system is there one day and then gone the next! Nothing seems to have  changed, but I’ll log into the app and the speakers and components aren’t there! I’ll restart the app, but doesn’t make a difference. I’ll move closer to the router but still no change! I recently bought a new ‘port’ and re set up the whole system and it worked great and then the next days it’s missing again. Can anyone help me?  I have a sonos boost which doesn’t seem to help so have tried with and without. I have tried using Ethernet cables and without.Do we think it could be the router?  woyod love some help - I’ve had sonos since the beginning but I’m really loosing belief in it - it’s just to finicky and troublesome! best simon 

Hello, I’ve recently bought a SONOS 100. Done the setup via Wifi and worked on wifi with my iPhone & my Mac. But when I pair it using Bluetooth, it pairs but there’s no sound at all (either device). I’m often on 5G on my phone at home and want to use this speaker by connecting it on my phone on Bluetooth when getting home. Did I buy the wrong speaker and I can’t use it on Bluetooth ?  Thanks, Nicolas

I have a new Beam 2nd gen. It works great, sounds great, remote is connected everything works except we can't turn the TV on in the am unless we touch the sono box button, and the tv won't shut off with the remote. We have to ask Alexa or Google to shut it off. What gives?

I bought a Sub Mini and added it to my Living Room. I decided to return it, so it is no longer plugged in or connected to the network. In the Sonos app, I see a little red dot under “System” and a message: “Sub Mini—Not connected”. However, when I tap on “System”, and then “Living Room”, the only products I see are the two Era 300s that are still connected in that room. The Sub Mini isn’t listed and I am unable to tap on it to remove it.What now? 

Hi , i have disable touch control in setting on my sonos setup. On era when touching same time this three buttons ERA change led status to red and disconect from system. What is this mode? Or what function is it? 

Not sure when this stopped working, but I am no longer able to load the Sirius XM Live and Xtra Channels list through the Sonos S1 Controller app on 2 different iPhones and my MacBook. When attempted, Sonos responds with “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.” This has been gone on for several days now. I have no problems loading the channels using the Sirius XM app itself, just the Sonos interface to Sirius.I can load the list of my favorite channels through the Sonos Sirius interface.I have updated the Sonos S1 controller app. I am hesitant to uninstall/reinstall the Sonos app, as in the past I have had difficulty getting my system discovered again after doing so.

My sonos roam suddenly started emitting a machine gun/ jackhammer sound whilst it had been playing for several hours.i managed to reboot it but this is rather disconcerting. i submitted a diagnostic report. I hope someone from support can check this out and diagnose the issue.id 78685789Thanks

I haven’t been able to send my latest tracks from ITunes to my Sonos. It used to work and I’m sure I am doing it right but it’s not working, any tips ?        From Tricia

We have used Sonos to support music listening in multiple rooms for 10+ years.  Most of the rooms have built-in speakers powered by Connect Amps, with each room having its own amp.  However, we do also have a Sonos Move and other products attached to the system.Over the past couple of months we’ve been having problems with our Kitchen speakers.  Music will stop every few minutes, then restart a minute or so later.  This has been occurring when we are playing music in the kitchen alone, or when the kitchen is grouped with other rooms.  Of note, this stopping and starting has not been an issue in any of the other rooms.I’m not sure where to start with diagnosing this issue, but would greatly appreciate assistance!thanks.

I have a basic question about Dolby Atmos.I have a Beam Gen 2 connected to the eArc HDMI output on a Samsung Q90t. Several streaming services I watch have content with Dolby Atmos. How do I tell if the enhanced audio from Atmos is working?  I don’t know to check on either the Sonos app or the Samsung settings. Thanks for any help. 

I want to listen to what is playing on my laptop on my Sonos Play1 speaker and I can't.When I bought it the only thing they told me was that it worked over Wi-Fi with an application, but I can't find a way to do it. So far I have only used it to listen to Spotify.Can someone help me?
