Hi, I’ve just purchased beam gen 2 and 2x era 100. I can set up the beam to my tv no problem and the 2 era 100’s not the same network 2.4ghz. Whenever I try to set the era 100’s as surrounds I can’t get them to connect. The app just says trying to connect and won’t connect?

Hi

Open the Sonos app > go to the room with the Beam > Look under “Products” and tapp on Beam > Under “Connection” make sure that Wifi has not been disabled. I doubt it has unless; you have the Beam wired back to your router. However, it never hurts to check.

Yes I’ve checked that and WiFi is enabled. I didn’t realise it would be so difficult to get them to connect.

What does this mean? ‘not the same network 2.4ghz
The Beam should be set up on a 2.4Ghz network, the surrounds need to be set up on the same 2.4Ghz channel as two separate rooms before adding them as surrounds.
