I have been trying to create folders for Favorited radio stations as most services have but cannot find it in Sonos.I have seen this question being asked for years and Sonos replying they will look into a solution for it. Any upates on this onging issue? It doesn’t seem that big of an ask.

Hello all,New here.  Here goes.  I am using the Arc, Sub, and Era 100 as rears.  I have two architectural ceiling speakers over my seating area that are currently unused. Is it possible to configure and use the Sonos Amp to power my overhead speakers for overhead sounds only (ie the helicopter)?  I’m not referring to using them as rear channels, rather only for dedicated overhead sound effects.Thanks

I have tried all ways of connecting my system to my new router - turning off my 5ghz band, connecting the sonos to the router with ethernet. The app says “Sonos not found. Make sure you’re signed in and your mobile device is connected to the internet and on the same WiFi as Sonos.” But this is impossible because my mobile is connected to my new router and my sonos was present on my old router. Even when I connect the play 1 to the new router with an ethernet cable, the speaker cannot be found on the system

I have a new pair of the Sonance Sonos in-ceiling speakers and a Sonos Amp and am about to do an install. Before I started cutting holes in my ceiling, on a table, I connected the Amp to the speakers as test. Best way to describe the sound is, it’s like the music is coming from my iPhone. It’s super flat with virtual no mid or low range.I double checked speaker wire connection and tried on two different amps, also listened individually to each speaker and both sound the same. Is something magical going to happen when they are in the ceiling and I use true play or is something wrong with these?

Hi. Not been on the forum for a while and I think I had the same problem before but I forgot what I did! Just got home an hour ago and I wanted to watch some TV before going to bed and there's no sound from the TVHowever if I go into Amazon Music then whatever song I am playing works fine.I have tried both resetting my router and unplugging all Sonos products but it's still not working 😕  Any help would be very welcome.

I’ve hooked my new Port up to my old Scott receiver/amplifier and, thanks to the advice and wisdom of the community, I am able play CDs through the Port as well as use the “old” systems speakers with my Sonos speakers (Tape In/Tape Out/ Monitor).  But, I’d like to be able to play the AM/FM from my receiver through the Sonos system.  So far, this has eluded me.  Can anyone suggest any options?

Hello all. Wondering if anyone can help.  I’ve been trying to build my perfect system for a while. I’ve been using Sonos to amplify my sound system (turntable/ tapedeck/ cd player etc) and streaming through the house. I’ve wanted to have both analogue and my Sonos system so I have upgraded my main system with a traditional integrated amp and speakers and I have just bought a port to get the signal through the house.  Hooked it all up and I have an issue. I placed my entire system on SonosNet for stability, WM0, and all worked well. I have one Roam which is on WM1 because it doesn’t do sonosnet.  Problem I have is the Port signal keeps dropping and is currently unusable. When I checked, for some reason the Port is on WM1 with the rest of the system on WM0.  I suspect that is my issue but - how do I get the Port onto SonosNet and why has it installed in this way.  Any help would be valuable.  Thank you in advance. I have a sonos beam and sonos roam. When I use Alexa it hears the commend and says it will play bbc sounds but never actually plays anything. With Spotify, it asks me to log in on the device on my phone and connect to the speaker, which I do but still doesn’t work when I go to voice commands. Anyone else having the same issue or know how to fix this?

I just installed an Eero Pro 6 wifi mesh extender and my whole SONOS system went offline (3 amps). The app says “Sonos and your mobile device must be on the same network.  Let’s fix it”.  (NOTE: i used the same name and password for the extender as my Fios router/wifi thinking all my devices would automatically pick up the extender, and they mostly have.)  The app takes me through the network update and I get a message saying “Unable to join the network “SONOS”. I’ve done a factory reset of the devices and gone through the whole process multiple times and end with the same message. I’m not sure what else to do at this point...and i’m exceeding the limit’s of my technical aptitude.Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I have both Sonos S1 and S2 apps and products. A couple of months ago 1 station, Chilltrax, stopped playing on both systems. I listen from MyTuner Radio, since TuneIn has gone to commercials for the free service. I have tried EVERYTHING or likely everything but 1 since it still will not play. Deleted it from favorites, resets, reboots, updates. I finally just gave up and listen to it on my laptop. I CAN get the station to play online, and from the MyTunerRadio website on my computer. It will simply not play on Sonos S1 or S2. Any ideas? I emailed both Sonos and Chilltrax, no answer. Thanks Sonos for not responding to a customer of 10 years.

Hello,I have Sonos arc with Sub gen3 and two Sonos Ones SL as surrounds. Arc is in wired connection. Everything was working fine until an electrical outage because of stormy weather. After that my Sonos Ones appear offline (most of the times the left Sonos One speaker). I’ve tried all the solutions that suggested in this forum (reboot router, unplug speakers etc.) sometimes the system was succesfully connected again but after some time the speakers go missing again.I’ve submited diagnostics from the sonos app with the number 1823992083Thank you,Andreas

Hello there. new on the forum and have a question I am hoping you can answer, since we had a disappointing evening of unboxing our new Sonos Beam and Minisub. We have a samsung qled 65” Q90R. TV with a native samsung hub consisting of 4 hdmi ports and one optical, of which only hdmi port 3 is Arc. The hdmi arc port is already in use by the Cable Tv box which apparently also requires arc. I tried the using the hdmi to optical adapter with beam, connected it first to the TV Hub, then to the playstation console and finally to the Cable TV box. changed the sound settings to output auto or optical, depending on the options. In all cases the short samsung remote control does not control the Volume. is there available a splitter for hdmi arc, a multiport arc hub option or a firmwsre fix?

My Sonos Roam has a weird kind of latency when I connect it to my MacBook via bluetooth. The way it manifests is, whenever I play audio from my MacBook, (let’s say a YouTube video) the source video will freeze for a few seconds, then the video will begin and audio begins playing through the speaker. When I stop the source on my MacBook, the audio will continue to play through my Sonos Roam for a few seconds before stopping. And sometimes, the audio and video can even get out of sync which is very annoying and requires me to refresh the page. Does anyone know why this is happening? It seems like some kind of buffering that I’d like to disable if possible. Cheers

I have a pair of Era100’s in a stereo pair, playing music works to them without any issues. I also have a recently purchased LG C3 TV Set, which has a standard 3.5mm analog audio output which I have connected to one of the era100s via line in. This works but there is intermittent drop in/out periodically in the right channel/era100. I had a call with Sonos Support and they told me the line in on the era100’s does not support TVs only cd players or turntables. This seemed like an odd answer to me why should the analogue audio output from a TV be any different to a CD player or turntable?If this is indeed true what are my options to get the TV audio into the Sonos speakers. The main reason I actually want tv audio into Sonos is there is an xbox series x connected to the TV.Is my only option here to buy a soundar and then use the era100’s as surrounds?If that's the case can I get away with the ray connected to the optical port on the tv? Will this banish the issues I’m having with the rig

Hi, I have an Arc already setup. I purchased a Sub from eBay and I'm trying to set it up. When I try to reset, it blinks white, then white/orange. It is not turning to blinking green. I connected Ethernet cable and left it for like 15 min but same situation. I see the sub in my app but when I continue setup it says not detected. Does it mean it's not working anymore? Please suggest. Thank you. 

I have always used different music services within the application but today I realized that these have disappeared and if I try to add them I only find tune in and lastfm. I tried reinstalling but it didn't solve the problem. what should I do?

i have 3 symfonisk speakers in my house and none will sync to app. the s1 app will not find them and the older app cant find my music library. is there a way to just start from scratch? like i just purchased all 3 speakers and are setting up new??

I watch tv through my Apple TV and sound through Sonos Playbar. Getting an echo sound from the Playbar in all modes (AppleTV, YouTubeTV, and other streaming services). Never had this issue before and nothing has changed in my settings. I’ve tried many things and even called Sonos Support as well as Apple. No resolution. 

I have a Dell monitor for my home office, with no in-built speakers, for which I recently added a Chromecast 4k with Google TV. Is it possible to cast the audio generated by Google TV, or apps such as You Tube or Netflix, to my Sonos One SL’s? Is there any other means of achieving this audio connectivity via Google Home or Google Assistant on my Android phone?
