Hello - hope someone out there can answer this as I’ve tried everything.  I recently purchased a new computer and have reinstalled the Sonos app.  I have also reinstalled my iTunes and re-established the correct music library path.  Even though the legacy path with former computer name has been purged, Sonos is still trying to use this to play music, so I only get an unable to play message.  I have gone rounds with this removed, reinstalled, reset everything including the Sonos app but nothing seems to work.  What gives?Note:  the music path setting is correct but the error message when trying to play clearly shows the legacy path.

Hello!Brand new Sonos user here. Quick question on the connection of my Port / two Era 100 speakers to a Sony Receiver I have. We recently converted a detached garage into a “party room” of sorts. We got two Era 100 speakers to use with a TV as well as Port to use with turntable, cassette deck, and CD player.  I have TT, cassette deck, and CD player in a Sony STRDH190 receiver. I’ve connected the Port to the receiver and can get all records, tapes, and CDs to play in the Era 100 speakers.  The volume can only be controlled through Sonos and I’ve tried various combinations of “Fixed” “Pass-Through” and “Variable” as recommended in other posts. It’s almost as if the receiver is just a big “switch box” now letting me select between inputs but not impacting the sound in anyway.  My question is have I set it up incorrectly? I would like to have the receiver be able to control the volume / tone as well. I feel like what I’m hoping for is impossible or I’m missing some very easy step!The curr

I have a Sonos Connect connected to my hi fi amplifier. Unfortunately when I am listening to BBC radio it keeps cutting out.I have now connected it to a wifi extender with an ethernet cable, but the problem is still there. I monitor the wifi extender which always has a good connectionto the main router. The signal from the extender is always strong (no problems with anything else connecting to it).The only connection problem is the Sonos Connect and nearly always when listening to BBC radio. Is there a compatibility problemwith Sonos and BBC radio? Is my Sonos Connect defective? But why only with BBC radio?I hope you know what’s wrong because this is extremely frustrating. I was looking forward to New Year concert from Vienna on BBC Radio 3but is impossible to listen to with constant drop outs.

How can I increase the listening speed of my audiobook from Libby using the Sonos app?  I can increase the speed when listening to Libby normally but not when I want to listen to my book on my Sonos

Hi I have a pair of Sonos Era 100 and a pair of Sonos Era 300 speakers.Both pairs are used to play records via Bluetooth to my Sony Bluetooth turntable.Since upgrading to version 15.10, both of my speaker sets are able to pair up to my Bluetooth turntable, but I am getting no sound.I have unpaired and re-paired both sets several times, but to no avail.I am able to pair up my phone to them over Bluetooth and play music no problem.Anyone else got the same issue?Can anyone suggest anything?Kind RegardsMartin

When trying to add my iTunes music folder to my Music Library, the indexing runs for a minute then fails with “<share path> is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.”  I have been researching this and I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.  I have drilled further from the iTunes Music folder to the next level (the Artist) and it will add the music instantly seeing the album and then song.I am running DSM 7.2, Sonos S2 Version 15.11 on both Windows 11, and IOS.  SMBv1 set as minimum with SMBv3 as maximum.  Diagnostics submitted: 2120586443.  

I originally posted this in another chat here, but it was the wrong area I think. Let's try this here. So, I have a pair of klipsch aw650s, that I put up outside for summer time. Currently they are inside though, with Sonos AMP connected to the TV, sub, and sonos ones. In this room, right now, I have sub, two fives, two ones, and the klipsch speakers. While sub is good for tv, I want something better for music, I am thinking svs pb3000. I would like to sell the fives and sub, they aren't as loud as the klipsch and I like the sound of the klipsch better. With that said, I would like to get a third party amp, a port, and two new inside speakers. The speakers will be hooked up to the tv with AMP, and the new sub. But I want the port and new amp to power the outdoor speakers when they get hung back up outside. Or the inside speakers I don't really care. I have run wiring for an amp to power the speakers outside, through an exterior wall. I am looking for third party stuff, as $700 for AMP

Hello everyone,I have a Xgimi Elfin projector with the Android operating system, which only has one HDMI input. When I connect my Sonos Beam 2, I can hear perfectly and even in Dolby Atmos. Now the problem is that I have a PS5, and if I want to connect it to the projector, I wouldn't be able to connect the Sonos Beam 2 at the same time. Is there any option to connect both the PS5 and the Sonos Beam 2?Thank youBest regards

Hi everyone, Looking for some help confirming whether I can achieve a setup that might work well, or not! We recently renovated and I put 4 Sonos ceiling speakers in the open plan kitchen. We have a TV at one end and a corner sofa, and 2 of the 4 ceiling speakers are above and just behind the sofa.  Can I use 2 of the 4 to make up a 5.1 setup with a sub and soundbar with the TV? Would there be any issues or trade offs doing this, if it is possible? Thanks in advance for any guidance! 

My phone connects to my roam over Bluetooth, but no audio plays from the speaker. I have tried forgetting the device and re-pairing the devices, but the same issue persists. The roam works fine over WiFi on my home Sonos network, but the Bluetooth functionality is useless?

Hi, I have a Sonos One SL which has decided to stop working and is unable to connect to the WiFi. For the last 2 hours I gave gone through the  factory resetting, listening to it chime with no connection. Final messages vary from there is a router issue and is not compatible with 5G. I haven’t changed internet providers so not sure what has happened. Also error 1001 was displayed when clicking on options!  I have a Sonos Player 1 which works fine and I’ve checked the WiFi connection on Sonos and it says good!  Any ideas or what the problem is and how to solve it.  Thanks from a very frustrated user!!

Hi,Yesterday I got my two Era 100’s as a addition to my Sonos ARC. I use the 100’s as rears but ever since the Sonos app says it’s only playing Dolby Digital 5.1 and not Dolby Atmos (of course only DA content).Before, without the 100’s and only the ARC, it did play movies and music in Dolby Atmos. Does my ARC still produces Dolby Atmos sound?Thank you!

I would like to play all the albums of one artist from Apple Music.  I can’t figure out any way to do this in the Sonos Controller on either the Mac or the iPhone.  I can do this via Alexa.  I can do this via the Apple Music app/iTunes via AIrplay.  Why can’t this be done via the Sonos Controller?

I’m trying to get my Google assistant to play well with my Sonos. I have a Nest Mini and a Symfonisk bookcase speaker in my home office. I’ve linked Sonos to my google assistant. I’ve placed the symfonisk in the same room as my nest mini, and I’ve set the symfonisk to be the default device for playback of music. The problem I have is that I will regularily be told that “Sorry, that mode isn’t available” for quite a few commands. For instance “Play music by Birdy” or “Play music by Birdy on Spotify” always fails with this message. Other commands such as “Play music by Linkin Park” allows my nest to start the music on my symfonisk, however, sometimes it will tell me something went wrong, despite the fact that nothing went wrong, and music is indeed playing. Other commands such as volume up and down almost always seem to work. Personally, I’m hoping sonos starts selling a small usb-powered microphone that people can place in rooms with Sonos devices that don’t have a microphone. I have a playbar and 2 1 sl and get intermittent ound loss do to wifi issues. Looking to switch to sononet but how will the android app work if the speakers are  noton my default wifi network

My Roam Power On/Off button is depressed and can not snap back to the default setting.  As a result I can not push in the button to pair, turn on or off and then not use. Contacted the Sonos support desk and they said I broke the button and since out of warranty there was nothing they could do or provide any advice. Any similar experience or advice.  Thanks

Spotify shuffle has three states: not shuffled, shuffled, smart shuffled. The third option will let Spotify recommend and add songs to your queue and playlist. However, Sonos only have two. When enabling shuffling on Sonos, it will actually enable smart shuffle on Spotify, leading to unwanted songs in my playlist.A current workaround is just disconnect and revoke spotify approval to sonos. I think it’s the problem from Sonos side.

I am looking to replace an old analogue hi-fi with a new wireless up-to-date system. I would like to have 3 sets of Era100 speakers across 3 different rooms in the house. I would like to play CDs, records, stream music and connect to the TV. I have been told the Amp only has one line-in so I wouldn’t be able to connect both a CD player and a turntable? Can anyone recommend what I would need to be able to connect everything? Thanks!

How do I delete an old Music Library folder that was previously linked to an old pc that is no longer?I have no Manage area in my settings. Want to remove the songs so when I hit them to play I wont get the message that it cant find \\xxxxxxx-PC.Using S1 AppThanks, Brad

Whether I use the Sonos app to listen to Pandora or cast to the Sonos Arc from the Pandora app, the AutoPlay feature does not work.  However, AutoPlay does work from the Pandora app if I use Bluetooth to my car or other non-Sonos speakers.  I emailed and discussed this issue with Sonos customer support and received the reply below - basically, they know this is a problem and have no get-well date.  My questions:Has this been fixed yet (I cancelled my Pandora Premium subscription so I cannot check if it works)? Does anyone else have this problem or an update?Responses from Sonos Support Specialist (Aug 2023):“Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any additional information or a timeline as to when you can expect to see this feature available when listening via Sonos.”“They [engineering] have confirmed that the AutoPlay feature is not supported when listening from a Sonos device, regardless of whether you use the Pandora app or the Sonos app.”

Hi everyone,  I have a massed a bunch of speakers mainly SL1’s and a few ARC’s and subs. My question is naming the speakers and rooms. I have a room say “Garage” and in it is 4 SL1’s one each corner of the room and a sub and a arc.  How would you go about naming them all and setting up the room? I’m just getting confused a bit on the differences of the hierarchy.Then the subs seem to disappear from the main app is that because it’s already added to the room? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Here is my issue: I have a Sonos system with 9 speakers. I have two active wifis: Wifi A and wifi B. The system/speakers are connected to wifi A but I would like to connect them to wifi B. How to do this? How to the change the wifi for all speakers / system?I managed to switch a few speakers to wifi B by going to the network settings in S2 app but it is not working for all speakers.
