Hi everyone. Please excuse me if I sound a little stupid, but still new to this so be gentle🤣

I am getting a Sonos arc how do I set it up with my other products, 2 era 100, sub mini, & replacing my beam with the arc, is it easy, even for someone like me.🤔

  Many thanks for your help😃

Thanks Stanley.

A little confused, I have had someone tell me Just connect It & follow the app instructions & that Will be It. I unplug eveything Will I have to set the whole system up again, don’t want to have to do that.

All your help will be great, not very techy.

In the Beam room settings, you have to select remove sub and remove surrounds, before you unplug the Beam.

if you don’t complete that process, when you add the Arc to your system, the Sub and surrounds will still be bonded to the Beam, which you don’t want. You should not have to unplug the surrounds and Sub.

@The Girt

Before removing the Beam from your System disconnect Sub and Rearspeaker from the room. This is important to bond them to the Arc after you have added it to your system.
If you are planning to sell the Beam don’t forget to reset it.

Just be sure to ADD it to your current system, not start a new system.

You might not want to remove the Beam, just disconnect the Sub/Surrounds from it. The Beam makes an excellent speaker even when not connected to a TV, very low profile and unobtrusive so it works great sitting on top of a kitchen, or other, cabinet.

Many thanks Mr T😀

Also, when you remove the surrounds, do not stereo pair them if the app asks you this question. Place them in separate “rooms” in the app, otherwise, the Arc will not be able to locate the surrounds when you try to add them to the Arc. The room name(s) for each Era 100 isn’t important, it’s just a temporary stage they will be in.

In practice, it’s really not. But if you do get stuck, you can always come back here to ask.
