We have a play 3 and two play 1’s for 9 years and have recently had a lot of issues with lost connections. I have turned off the power, left it for a few minutes then turned it back on and it connects. This is becoming really annoying. There are no issues with the hardware and the speakers still sound great. If it is time to replace them then my question is why would I replace with Sonos if it will only work for less than 10 years?

Is anyone else having an issue with the bottom part of the screen peeling off of their white Era 100? It looks like little cracks running vertically up the screen, starting where the screen merges with the base of the unit. Almost looks like peeling paint, but I’m not about to test that. Should I file an RMA? 

My Sonos Beam is connected to my Sony Bravia TV Via the HDMI arc and I connected my  Sony Blu Ray player via HDMI1 on my TV but the audio only plays the TV Speaker and not from Beam. 

I recently bought a pair of Sonos One SL. My HomePod was a disaster with frequent connection problems.I recognize the issues above and I have them with my pair of Sonos One SL as follows:Connection with my iPad and iPhone: Airplay connection can be made… but when I start a stream (Apple TV app or Apple Music App), the video starts and in case of Music the counter starts, but there is no audio. You can see the connection though Airplay indicated on the device, but after a few seconds the connection breaks and the audio starts playing through the iPad or iPhone speakers.I sometimes manage to get a working connection with audio after closing WiFi connection, restart of iPad/iPhone, but I did not find a solution that always works… A very strange behavior though… And… I can have a steady connection with Airplay from my Mac! So it is a problem with iOS / iPadOS for sure. Interesting; when my iPad does not play audio through my Sonos and I change the airplay setting from ‘Sonos’ to ‘My Macboo

Only about 50% of the time can I rely on Sonos to play items from my music library when I want it. Most often when it doesn’t work it’s because a software update has been posted, and that completely freezes the system until I apply the update.  Usually I lose my queue at that point, and often in addition I find music won’t play because my “server cannot be found” or because the controller can’t find the speakers, or both. This occurs constantly and it’s a HUGE inconvenience. Have a small system w/ 3 older speakers (A Play One and 2 Sonos Ones. One of the Ones had Alexa; but I have killed her.). I keep my personal music library on my desktop hard drive. My router is an Xfinity XB 7-T.A few days ago it was playing nicely but I paused play. When I went back to it, it would not play because it needed an update. After the update, it said it couldn’t find the server. The various contradictory “solutions” I find online to that issue don’t always immediately produce a fix. Two days haven’t sol

How does Sonos voice assisant interface with Google Voice assistant ? I need them to work together 

Hi,I’ve used the Sonos upgrade program a number of times - without issue.  I’ve found an old Play:5 (gen1) of mine which definitely has not had the upgrade voucher used - it’s been unused and unplugged for years. I've downloaded the S1 app, specifically to create a new system for the Play:5 - logged in as my Sonos user.  The play:5 works fine and shows as a product on my ‘System’ on the Sonos website.  However, it doesn’t appear on the Upgrade list and interestingly, on the ‘system’ entry it displays - but where as all other eligible items state the upgrade status - this Play:5 doesn’t list this information at all.   any ideas how what could be wrong? And how I can initiate the upgrade credit if it’s not shown?   (I’ve tried the obvious - reinstalling the [s1] app, factory reset the play:5 etc…) thanks. 

I've currently purchased 2x Era 100's to connect a to my Beam Gen 2 as a TV surround setup and general music playback to the living room.I also have a turntable (with pre amp) which I was hoping to connect via line-in on one Era 100 to play put through the surround setup. I learned that doesn't work (currently). Is there any solution to having the turntable play on the surround setup? Would the Port solve this? Any other recommendations?

I have been a longtime SONOS user and SiriusXM subscriber, and have been able to connect to Sirius over SONOS for years. However, I am being asked to re-authorize my Sirius account on SONOS. When I do, the Sirius authorization page says my account is not valid (“We don't recognize your username or password. Please try again.”). This happens whether I try to authorize my account from the SONOS mobile app or the SONDO desktop controller. The Sirius login information I have input is correct, because I am logged into my Sirius account on the same devices (desktop and mobile) using those same credentials. I also have the Sirius app on my phone and am logged into that with the same credentials.  I have tried deleting Sirius from my music services in SONOS and re-adding, but am getting the same error. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know of a workaround?

I have a Sonos Amp that I'd like to have 2 speaker circuits connect to. One speaker circuit also has an analog volume control. Are there any concerns about doing this that I should be aware of?I also have another Sonos amp which I’d like to connect to two speakers circuits, each with individual analog volume controls. 

I have five Sonos Ones. I have an open floor plan. Two are in the living room and two in the dining room, so basically one big room. Would adding a Sub to this be value add? Would a Five add value? Thanks!! 

Hi, I have had a Sonos system for around 13 years, I use a Bridge and have 2 Connect Amps. The speakers are ceiling mounted and wired directly to the Amps. (The speakers are not Sonos).the system has always worked well however the Bridge has recently stopped powering up. So, I have purchased a Boost as thought this would be a suitable replacement. However I’m having issues connecting the Boost to the Amos as the Boost wants to use the Sonos S2 app and the Amps S1.should they be compatible or am I flogging a dead horse?? I don’t really want to shell out for 2 new amps as they are perfectly fine.  thanksPete 

I have 2 SL1 speakers and a beam. Trying to get the best surround sound. Should they all be on the same volume or should I just have the left and right speakers on with the beam low? The beam is under the TV and in front of us. Thanks 

Any one else having issues with the brand new move 2? I can connect bluetooth after a few tries to the project vte bt. I have to turn the Bluetooth off on the move 2, turn the bt switch on my turntable and then turn on bt pairing on the move 2 and actually connects and stays connected. check Sonos app on phone and shows connected. play a record and no sound. spent almost 2 hours trouble shooting with Sonos customer service (kind of a joke some tech going through the steps off their pre set guide) with the final outcome being that my bt device needs a screen to select the speaker (even though its already showing connected). I was then told I need to contact pro-ject to resolve the issue. which I did and they said its surely a software issue with the move 2 since bt 5.0 is suppose to be backwards compatible with bt 3.0 (the turntable). Now my roam has no problem connecting and playing music through wifi to my whole system. When move 2 was released I presale purchased because I would have

At the end of the three years expected life of the rechargeable batteries . Can the be replaced or do you just throw away your Move speaker?

Can't seem to get initial set up with bbc sounds completed. The message says it's been set up, but then on Sonos it says there was an error.  

So, I have had an issue with Audible for a while now on my Sonos Beam (gen2).  Randomly the speaker would start playing the last position in an audio book that I played through the linked Audible account.  From my network logs, I was able to determine that the Sonos would start playing right after losing connection and reconnecting to my access point.  This seems reasonable but even if the stream was paused for 2 weeks, it would start playing again scaring the crap out of everyone in the room if the volume was up.  I really would like to clear the current stream so the speaker has absolutely nothing to play.In the Sonos app, it would show the Audible stream at the bottom every time I open the app whether playing or paused.  My question, is how can I reset / close / remove that stream?  There is nothing that I can find to do it.  Opening up the stream and clicking the 3 dots shows where I can change the speaker but that is it.  Even if I uncheck my Beam it will pause if playing but does

I’m currently putting in a deck that sits off the main floor of my house (kitchen/living room).  The deck will be half covered by a roof.  Within the ceiling of the roof I’m going to be installing two third party speakers and connecting them via 14 gauge wire which will be run into the house and connected to a sonos amp kept in a cabinet in my kitchen (see red circle in pic below).  I will also be mounting an outdoor TV directly on the other side of the wall of this cabinet.  I’m trying to figure out how I would connect this TV to the Sonos system so I can listen to the TV from the speakers being installed in the ceiling of the roof.  Thanks!  

I recently purchased two Era 300’s to go with my Arc and Sonos sub.  The sound is phenomenal!  One issue I noticed is that the volume will increase when the playlist goes to the next song and the song is recorded in Dolby Atmos and Crossfade is enabled.  The volume increase only lasts for a few seconds but it’s pretty startling.  I’ve noticed the issue with Apple Music and Amazon.  The solution is to disable the crossfade option and all is well.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Please fix, ios works fine but speakers won't show up as a playable device on galaxy device. Currently fold 5 under Spotify or qobuzz. The sonos devices are the most temprental equipment I own. Slowly moving everything away.Wiim are putting sonos to shame. Everything works no issues ever and half the price. Lift your game or become irrelevant. 

I have a pair of stereo paired One gen 1 and a sub gen 3 as one system. Recently the sub volume is stuck either too high or too low. So when I play a song at normal to high volume there’s almost no bass at all. If I lower the system volume to really low the bass sound is too prominent. Sometimes the sub volume is too high. It seems the sub volume does not change with the system volume but is either stuck too low or too high.  Anyone experienced this?

my app was connected to my system and everything is working just fine. Now I cannot connect. I have tried rebooting and starting everything over again but nothing seems to work. Sonos support is closed. Can anybody help

The volume on my 6 sonos speakers keeps stopping and starting. The app shows the music is continuing to play but no sound is coming out from the speakers. Then it will start again for maybe 1-2 mins then stop for 1-2 mins. I have re-tuned through Trueplay but nothing is improving, it seems to be getting worse.

Sonos won't play thru Google home.  All Google apps and devices updated. Sonos Ray is updated and brand new.  Add to Google home and set as default speaker.  All seem to connect just fine.  Ask it to play music and it says something like "the service is not set up yet"  Cannot add voice thru the Sonos app, when I click on add voice device it just opens a help page which is no help at all.
