i am trying to connect (100's) as surrounds to my playbar / sub and only get an option to add my sonos amp which is powering speakers in a different room.. any ideas?

Hello,I have a Play 5 Gen 1 that stopped working.  I called Sonos support and after diagnostics they sent me an RMA number for a return for a discount code.  All of my other Sonos components are Gen 1, so I would like to purchase another refurbished Play 5 Gen 1, but I don't see one offered on Sonos.com.  Any help would be much appreciated!Thanks,Randy

I have an older system with an S1 connect interfaced as a source with an existing audio system.  What if any are the advantages of switching to an S2 connect and an S2 OS.  Is this the correct choice or is there another piece of connect hardware I should look at?  As near as I can tell Sonos no longer sells the S2 connect hardware as all I can find are used units.

Hi everybodyBlack friday is coming up and I would really like to get stuck into some Sonos products. Initially, I have to base it around my Project T1 turntable. I have the phono box E BT, so Bluetooth connectivity shouldn't be a problem. I need something that can start me off but can play a part in a set up for the future. Also one more question, my experience with wireless BT speakers is that they fizzle out quite fast, tbf that was Sony and JBL quality so I am assume Sonos is better...? Because I do need it to make to my ultimate set up for when I move out. Is it safer to go something that can plug in, or is that living in the past?Cheers for reading and would love to hear any suggestions.

Hi everyoneI’m a newbie Audiophile and love Hi-Res music but don’t fully understand what it’s all about other than the quality of sound is better.I have a Sonos system at home that comprises of an Arc, Sub and two One speakers L+R.I keep all my music files on my PC and a backup drive. These files are mostly Apple AAC/M4A format that I listen to through the Sonos app on my PC as well as on my phone.However, I recently purchased two Hi-Res albums online U2’s Achtung Baby and All That You Can’t Leave Behind. They are both 96Khz/24bit FLAC files but Sonos will not play them and brings up a message saying;“Unable to play this track - it is encoded at unsupported rate 24b96000Hz”Is there a way round this to play these files without compromising the sound? If this isn’t possible, then what are my options to play Hi-Res music through my Sonos speakers? I have been able to listen to Hi-Res music through my Sonos speakers but this was through using Amazon Music streaming service.Now I want to pl

We have a Sonos Roam and have successfully connected it to our Sony turntable. We wanted a better speaker so we got a Move 2. It will pair with the turntable but it wont play sound. The Sony needs A2DP compatible BT speakers to work. I can’t find any info that says which of the higher quality Sonos speakers are A2DP compatible. Thank you! 

Hello, I have noted for several months that our 2 Sonos One speakers suddenly stop playing, often after just a few mintues but sometimes after an hour or more of streaming.  Then I cannot find them in either the Sonos app or the Spotify App.  At that point, I unplug one of the speakers, and sometimes I turn the wifi off and back on, and in a few minutes I can see the speaker pair again in both apps.  But often they stop  again shortly after that. I do not have that issue with the other 3 Sonos Play speakers I have.  We do routinely turn our wifi off at night and back on in the morning - that may aggravate the problem.  The speakers are about 15-20 feet from our ATT router and I think the signal is strong in the kitchen.  Any thoughts or solutions?  Thank you for any ideas or next steps. 

I have a Sonos arc and Sonos sub. The house I recently moved into has two surround speakers (off brand) in the ceiling. Each speaker has two wires going to a single audio plug for each speaker. I want to get a Gen 2 Sonos amp to drive these but I’m not sure how the single plug from each speaker plugs into the back of the amp, which has two wires for right and left respectively.  Also, will I have to wire the Connect Amp to the Arc and  Sub and Router with Ethernet cable for them to work?  I’ve searched for an answer to this and I haven’t found and answer exactly matching my situation. 

Is Sonos known to improve hardware yoy while keeping the model name same like Tesla does? Are there any significant difference in hardware/firmware versions between last year and this year model? I am evaluating between refurbished Arc vs new one. Hence the question.

The app continues to tell my the two new Sonos one speakers I have set up (which are blinking green) that there is a wifi issue, but my other two Sonos one speakers connect just fine? (I have two already in my system, adding two more.)

I have three of the Sonos One product. I want to give 1 of them away. How do I transfer part of my system? 

This is driving me mad.  Why can’t I just join my new home wifi?  I’ve gone through all the steps, and it tells me I’m unable to join.  Please help anybody?  I don’t have BT as i have read in a previous thread, I have a new Virgin wifi package, and my old broadband was Virgin too...

I have 2 Sonos Play 1 wireless speakers. Sometimes they will work and sometimes not. Yesterday I was told by a sonos tech support that the problem is my 5g internet. Their remedy is to go back to 2.4 g internet. A chat line rep tells me it will work with 5g. Going back to 2.4 is not practical. Anyone have a similar issue.. Background, had for about 5years, started to have problems 1 1/2 years ago, upgraded to 5g ,worked well for over a year,now back to same issue. Sonos support not helpful.

One of my sonos 3's keeps dropping out. I've had them for about 10 years and  I've never had problems before . 

I have a set up with two Play:1s, a Play:3 and a Move 1. I don’t have crossfade enabled. When I am playing a playlist I am now finding that nearly every song skips about halfway through, although it doesn’t seem to happen with albums from Spotify. I don’t recall this having happened in the past. I’ve looked up solutions, and tried turning off all the devices and restarting the router (and Sonis devices), but to no avail. My phone has strong WiFi signal in all the locations the Sonos devices are, and they’re really not far away from the router (the Play:3 is about three metres away with no walls in the way).Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve this?

I have an ARC soundbar and a pair of ERA 100 speakers for surround. I can change volume of all three as a unit with my Mobile APP, but when I change volume with the TV remote only the ARC is changed.  Can this be fixed?

Hey Folks,  Sonos Newbie here. I have my living room set up with an Arc, two 1s and a sub. I later bought a Play 5 and set it up to play separately on my patio.  So I currently have: Living Room & Deck Speaker displaying separately in the App.  I’d like to add the Play 5 to my Living Room to be able to play the same music simultaneously in the Living Room and on the patio but still be able to use the 5 by itself when I want.  Any direction would be appreciated. I am getting this error message……. Wireless range extender Some Sonos products are using the WiFi from a range extender device. If you include one of these in a room group, you won't be able to play music in that group. To ensure playback in all grouped rooms, you'll need to permanently wire a Sonos product to your router. The SONOS One’s and Roam’s I have cannot be wired. Please help, I’m losing my patience having constant issues with a system I’ve spent over 2K on 😪

We use the apple family function to share music and play via songs.I’ve had to remove my account and reload onto the Sonos app, following advice on this forum as I was not able to access my entire apply music library.However when i have tried to do the same for my husband’s device, it automatically signs in under his Apple ID (music is under my Apple ID), and I cant seem to change it. how to i fix the original problem we both had  - not able to access our entire apple music library (albums, playlists etc - for my husband and others on the Apple Family plan?

Can someone help me figure why I’m still hearing ads and station intros, I also can’t skip songs - if I do it prompts me to sign up but then if I follow the prompts to sign up - it says I already have an active Sonos radio HD subscription???
