I have two sub Gen 3s in different rooms. One in TV Room. One in Family room with additional speakers in both rooms (ARC, One SL). I am buying a Beam for another, smaller room (Den). Can I add a Sub Mini to that room (Den) as well? I know you can’t pair Sub Gen 3 and Sub Mini in same room. Just want to confirm I can add a Sub Mini, in a third room, all on the same WiFi network. 

Hello, I have a Samsung UN55F6300AFXZA tv that I’m using with the Arc. I’ve got the Arc connected to the ARC HDMI port of the TV and a PS5 and Firestick connected to other HDMI ports. I can’t seem to get the settings right to get a 5.1 signal passed thru to the Arc. When I check the settings on my TV, the only digital audio out option is PCM. Dolby digital, DTS, and DTS neo2:5 are all grayed out and won’t let me select. Is there a known fix for this? thanks Mike

I have an issue that is driving me crazy. Through my Apple TV and certain media through different apps the center channel dialog will play through the left rear speaker. It occurs in Youtube TV and Plex both. I do not notice the issue with Apple streaming media. I have an Arc and Era 300s. Please help!!!

If I use a single era 100 speaker as my connection point for a turntable, can I play in all rooms on my system?

I have a soundsystem with arc and sub and two era 300, I have tried EQ in every possible way, manually and even several trueplay, but metal music sounds quite dissapointing i this system. It lacks of drum kick power or clarity, drums barely distinguish. It  feels like a plastic void sound. I find airpods sound better than a system that cost me thousands euros. Furthermor I have two Hércules monitors and a sonos move that sounds better. Now I can’t return my equipment because I bought few months ago, but experience so far is quite dissapointing. I invited some friends home to help me twitching EQ, but they have same opinion, sound quality is very dissapointing for the price.

Sold my house and new owners want the Sonos S1 system. Do I perform a factory reset and let them register the product on their own account. BTW I will be putting Sonos into my new home - a home is not a home without Sonos. 

I have an Arc with the 3rd gen sub and Amp. I am moving into a new build and have the option to add Sonnance Wall & Ceiling speakers, which is my wife's preference due to aesthetics. However, with the introduction of the Era 300s I'm aware they would probably produce a bit theatre experience for movie watching.  My questions are: 1 - Can you use both wall and celling speakers with the Arc or does it have to be ceiling only due to their current sideways firing speakers? 2 - If you can use both wall and ceiling speakers with the Arc, is there that much of a difference and does it warrant the inevitable resistance and 'discussions' from my wife? Thanks for any help

I have recently purchased a SONOS amp and I am trying to get it going.  I have a large collection of music located on a Windows 10 PC.  I have enabled Media Streaming on the pc.  The SONOS app see the media server and allows me to browse the collection of music.  Most of the files are in FLAC format.  A few are MP4 or WMA files.  The SONOS plays the MP4 and WMA files fine but it fails on the FLAC files.  An obscure error message “An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue (701)” is briefly displayed on the app screen when I select the track in the app. The FLAC files were generated by ripping CDs in the Windows Media Player.  The “Audio Quality->470 940 kbps” option was enabled for the rip.  I think that setting turns on automatically when FLAC is selected in the Windows Media Player. I have played these same files through a  different product, an Audiocast, using the same configuration without problems. Ant ideas on what’s going wrong? Does anyone know what the 701 error me

I have a system made up of 16 Sonos one and one SL speakers in a hotel. When there is a power outage, some of the SLs raise an IP outside the range provided by the LAN equipment.The DHCP range for the network is 10.0.4.x but the speakers take 169.254.x.xThe movile app do not detect this 3 speaker on the wifi network, and this 3 speakers ara at a considerable height so is no so simple to reboot a press the buttons….

HI GuysI have a Sonos play 5  Gen 1 speaker and haven’t had a days problem since the day i had it until now.It has disappeared from the product list and has a constant flashing white light.I also have a play 1 speaker that has ran with perfectly the whole time and currently still does.Ive been through the forums and tried every option including wired to the router. and as a last resort i tried the factory reset, wired and unwired but it wont rest either but the flashing white light still persists.Has anyone got any ideas?Thanks in advance guys

Hi all,  So I have a new stereo paired set of era 100 which I have wall mounted which sound incredible! but I will need to cable tidy in trunking to make the wall look tidy and the cables aren’t long enough I was thinking of getting an electrician in to just cut and lengthen the cables but am worried this will void my warrenty I looked at getting a spare cable and getting those lengthened but sonos don’t seem to sell them any idea where I can get some or if I can just cut the originals without warranty concerns. Thanks  Matt

Can you use the line in adapter on one of your Era 100s but play the music through grouped speakers (i.e,. stereo sound)?

We have the Sonos S2 2 Era100 and 1 Era300 in our setup. when listening to Local Radio through the Streaming operator DR LYD from Denmark in Denmark very often it starts rewinding- starting back all over 1 or 2 hours. The problem started with the introduction of the S2 generation. Why on earth can’t it be fix - it’s so annoying! regards Flemming Sigvardt Copenhagen, Denmark

Hi I recently had to disconnect my Sonos connect amp. Upon reconnecting I just get a green flashing mute button. Any ideas

My Beam stopped working. I am presently trying to restore it without success. I get the four dots in a wave pattern along with this message, “ Getting your Beam ready” but it is hung up on this. I can’t close the window or restart the reinstall. Suggestions please.

Bonjour,Dans mon salon, j’ai une arc+sub+2 one pour le surround.Je m’aperçois que le sub ne fonctionne plus (il est bien connecté au système salon et couplé, en fonction..., il est bien allumé, l’appli le voit mais il ne fonctionne pas physiquement c-a-d il ne vibre pas).Je pensais qu’il était en panne et je l’ai donc couplet avec ma beam qui est dans une autre pièce et là, il fonctionne.Pouvez-vous m’aider car là je sèche?D’avance, merci.Belle journée. 

Hi guys,I own a turntable (with built in pre-amp), third part speakers (also with a pre amp) and have recently got Sonos. I bought a port because I want to be able to play the turntable music in other rooms.I know i can simply plug in the port line-in to the turntable so the RCA plugs and it plays around the house) but then not over the third party speakers.Is there a way to have the third party speakers still play the record while the Sonos speakers plays it around the house? I thought I’d be able to plug the port into the pre amp on the third party speakers but it doesn’t work. i can’t work it out. cheers

HiOur Kitchen TV is a 32” JVC and the Ray is on offer for £218 on Amazon vs the Beam Gen 2 for almost twice that, plus the Beam is bigger so the Ray would fit better under the TV/Anyway, my TV has no Optical out natively but it does have a Coaxial port called Digital Audio Output (Coaxial).Could I use this? If I am forced to spend another £200 on a beam, I will probably stick with the Ray option and just upgrade the TV to a newer model as its not Smart anyway.Thanks

Greetings,I just bought a Sonos 5 Bluetooth Speaker and I am trying to connect my Audio-Technica (AT-LP60XBT) but they seem not to recognize each other.Are they compatible at all?Am I missing something?Additional info: I have no other pieces of equipment, just the two. I had a smaller Sony Bluetooth speaker that worked pretty well but I was hoping to increase my sound.

I’m looking for a new set of speakers for my Sonos Amp.  The amp says speakers should be at least 125W for 8 ohm speakers, and at least 200W for 4 ohm speakers.  The R3 Metas are 4 ohms nominal.  110 db max output, 15-180w amp requirements.  Will there be any issues with this setup?

Hi All,I just installed my Era 300 on the Sonos wall mount upside down option.My question is if there is need to be a gap between the wall mount and the era 300 - please see pictureHow far should the brads be screwed and how much space should be left On the one hand I can tighten the screws more and on the other hand I don't want to do any damage…Any feedback/experience from the community with that case?Raz 

I have a Sony A80L connected to Sonos Arc.All works well, except, when I try to switch to TV Speakers, it switches back to ARC after a few seconds.How can I keep TV speakers in use rather than using ARC for occasions that I want to switch ?Any advice is greatly appreciated.Regards,Sam

Hi! I connected my Safa retro KT-3001 to Era 100 via the RCA line and adapter.I tried to understand if this model has a built in preamp with no success.Now that I connected the sound sounds ok, with about the same quality as with the built in speakers of the turntable.When I play the same song from spotify the sound is so much nicer!Now, I wonder if it’s because of the turntable itself, or do I miss a preamp?
