Apple tv 4K is outputting STEREO PCM instead of multichannel PCM on non ATMOS content??Is this known issue and any workarounds or fixes??Many Thanks.BEAM GEN 2.

Hey everyoneI Know there was a way to set google assistant on not supported countries by changing in the sonos account a supported country such as the UK or US  and adding zip code but it seems that no longer works.I see in the app the option for the assistant but during setup it can’t find the sonos speaker, was something changed? 

I have bought a Sonos system and I am trying to connect it to Spotify.  It wants me to put the password in for the previous owner.  I can’t work out how to use my own Spotify account. 

If I initiate music through Apple Music app, Sonos App shows “plying through Airplay” and there is no easy way to switch from Airplay stream to direct Sonos streaming without having to stop the Apple app, terminate it, than restart music playing from recently played on Sonos app. Sonos music search within Apple Music catalogue is buggy and slow so I have to often start music in the Apple app and then fight with switch streams. It makes v. difficult to stream music in the background when you want to watch something else on IPhone on the same time 

My iPod is about 8 years old and it contains, within iTunes, my entire music collection.  I used to play them on my Sonos 1 speakers in different rooms using AirPlay.  Now the Sonos S1 app tells me I must use the Sonos 2 app.  But my iPod will not upgrade to a high enough IoS version to use Sonos 2.  What do I do?  How can I get my iTunes library to talk to my Sonos system?

HiSo I have my Spotify (premium) account connected to my Sonos system at home.I am running into the issue that if, for example, my wife is playing music at home, and I am out of the house, and I play music from Spotify, Sonos stops the music at home.This only started happening recently, and does not happen with Apple Music.Is there a way to prevent this?

When I start up the Android app it keeps showing the queue screen which is empty. It does this if the room that is playing is showing full screen but not if the playing is minimised and showing the rooms instead - hopefully that makes sense.So if I close the app with the playing showing full screen, it will open full screen the next time and immediately shows the empty queue. If I close the app showing the rooms with the playing part minimised, it doesn’t open the queue screen when I start up the app but as soon as I maximise the playing part of it, it shows the queue screen.There’s nothing in the queue and I just mainly listen to Planet Rock Radio which is still showing in the playing part when I start the app up.The queue has been empty for many months and I’ve not used it for many months apart from having to keep close it when it opens by itself. 

Hello,  After having done renovation works at our house, I tried to install my favorite speakers again in each room. All is going well when I connect via the laptop (which is connected via Wifi), but when I want to control SONOS via my iphone app (all updated) - it doesnt show all speakers, has problems with finding the system at all, or does not push my actions to the system. Any help?

Why my Sonos move (1) put on alone?If I decide to put of after a few minute put on without my decision.

HiFor some reason when using the sonos app (sonos S2 app) there are a few playlists that wont play. All I get is. Unable to browse music. Again, this is only on a handfull of playlists, the others are fine. they all play ok vie the Amazon app.Have tried a few things but no joy. Would be greatful if anybody has any ideas to the cause. hello, i have a arc soundbar connected to my tv via hdmi and i just recently bought two sonos one sl speaker to connect and use for a theather but im having a problem controlling the one sl speaker with a controller one the arc sound bar will mute and sound will come from the one sl speakers if anyone can help me i would really appericate it ive been hrs trying to figure this out and have have gotten nothing ive see articles on sonos page i folloqed every instruction and still nothing 

Is it possible/will it be possible to easily switch between using the Era speakers line in while they're set up as surrounds? Seems like a major oversight to not allow this and to require the speakers to be totally disconnected and readded as a stereo pair ever time you want to use the line in input, especially since the setup process never goes as smoothly as advertised. Could this be a future software update? I'm honestly pretty frustrated with this lack of functionality considering how these speakers are advertised and their price.

Sonos System: Port output to Rotel A14 Mk 2 internal DAC/to a pair of Monitor Audio 20se speakers (living room), and a seperate pair of Monitor Audio 2se speakers (kitchen).I’ve also a pair of Sonos Play 3s in the kitchen, and a single Play 3 in a bedroom.The Sonos Play 3s succesfully play HD tagged music from Amazon (even though they’re the furthest away from the router).The Port (even though it’s far closer to the router) will play HD (and even occassionally Ultra HD) for a few minutes at the most before the badge disappears. However, if I link the pair of Play 3s in the kitchen,or the single Play 3 in the bedroom,with the Port, the HD badge stays. I suppose I could link a Play 3 (with the volume to zero) if I’m listening via the Port, but that wouldn’t work with any Ultra HD tracks.Any suggestions would be welcome.

Yesterday my Sonos speakers all lost Alexa voice control. I’ve got a pair of Sonos Ones and a Beam, all up to date. I’ve had this a few times before but I don’t have the option to reinstall Alexa - I’m just seeing the Sonos voice control  option. Has anyone else noticed this? I’ve reinstalled the iOS app on my devices and restarted the speakers but no luck. Any ideas? Alexa’s gone! 

I have a 3 Sonos connect system with an AMP and a Bridge from 2012. I have a bad Connect I believe. But not seeing any new units to purchase. Is there a replacement for the Connect?Brad 

The response that the SL speakers can be set up on a split system, if you have S1 compatible speakers as the rest of your system is unsatisfactory if we don’t want a split system.  We just bought an SL and it won’t play with the rest of our system.  We have two connect amps, one connect and one play 5 speaker.  We wanted a small speaker to add to the kitchen in the house but to run off the same system/controller.  Do you make any products that we can add to this system?  

Hi , I tried to connect Era 100 speaker to a LG TV webOS 5.50.15 without results. Both TVs ( I tried in two different ones) recognize it as a Bluetooth device and connect with it, but no sound results are  in the speaker when I select the Sonos. In the Sonos app I tried to figure out and it recognized the TV connection . Every forum chat is about ARC and HDMI or optical connections. Not my case . I tried to test the Sonos Bluetooth connection with my telephone and worked. I get sound Thanks for your help !  

Hi I ordered a pair of sonos speakers (https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/two-room-set-era-100)Both speakers were delivered in a single box. One of them was defective and I wasn’t happy with the sound of the other. So, I decided to return both. I generated RMA but I see separate RMA for each speaker. Am I expected to ship speaker separately? can I just put both speakers in the box it came with and send it as one shipment?

I currently have my Play:1 assigned to a specific room. I now want to assign that to a new, previously undefined room. There doesn’t seem to be any way to create a new room, or move the speaker that I want to move. The speaker remains stubbornly assigned to its original room.I have tried both the desktop app and the ipad/iphone apps.I have read various posts, but none of the suggestions there seem to work. I am currently using the S1 app as I have some devices which are not compatible with the S2 app.Is there a way to remove the speaker from the system so that I can make a fresh connection to my system, or is there a way to create a new room/move the existing speaker to a new room? 

Hi evryone, got the Sonos era 300, and tried to connect with my tv Lg oled55b9pua, via Bluetooth, once successfully connected, sound does not come up, nothing. looks like the sound is muted, and I tried to volume up, but nothing, the sound remains muted, i tried almost evrything, if you have some recommendations or advices if would be nice, I think that could be a compatibily issues. I have the latest SW update on my tv and my sonos APP, up to date.I tried connecting my iphone via bluetooth to sonos era 300 and worked with any issues. 

I setup my new roam and everything seems to work but no music plays. I see volume change on phone when I use controls on roam. Phone and roam are talking to each other. I have tried Spotify and Apple services. No sound volume on speaker and phone is up. No volume limit.

Every time except for one Artist I get the error message when trying to play music. Unable to play xxxxxxx cannot connect to \\xxxxxxxx because the server cannot be found.My WIFI is 1GB and having no other issues. Thanks, Brad

Hello and good morning.i have recently purchased  Samsung S95C to go with my Sonos Gen 2 Sound bar.i have set it up and tested it running Atmos Movie and it works well.The problem I’m having is when I seem to watch a standard channel on sky or a recording on sky the audio on the beam 2 drops out for a few moments then resumes.  There doesn’t seem to be any pattern sometimes it’s a few times then it’s fine for a while then it drops out again?
