Hi. Just installed ARC, mini sub, and 2x era 100s. I've got the Sonos app for my Pixel 8 (android), looking for an old iPhone or iPad to set up true play, and now wondering...

Can the Sonos app be installed on LG TV's (C3)?

I don't want to always have my phone with me in order to change sub settings, turn on/off night mode, etc. Would be nice if I could do that from the TV. Or... Can Google Assistant be set up to send voice commands to the Sonos?

@dalsik

No, there is no Sonos app available for any tv os.
You can find the supportes os and devices following this link…

To control your system without the controller app I recommend Sonos Voice Control.

Thanks, Schlumpf. I may keep Google Assistant on the Sonos and use the phone app widget as a quicker way to adjust a couple of settings.

Just to add… you can install GA and SVC both for parallel use on the device. The advantage of SVC is that’s from Sonos and best optimized for control of the devices and it’s installed completely on the device itself without need of a cloud service. So please try and give it a chance next to GA. 😉

Unless their docs are wrong, it's Alexa that can co-exist with SVC, not Google. (Just moved and switched from an Alexa household to Google.)

I have a Google speaker I'll leave in the TV room.

Uuups … Sorry… I forgot, it was just Alexa that can coexist with SVC at the same time. My mistake…
