Sony PS-LX310BT Not playing sound through Sonos Play 5

Hi, I’ve connected my Sony Turntable to my Play:5, however no audio is playing. I’ve made sure line in was selected, and it even registers it as selected. I’ve tried with the Phono Preamp on, and with line out. Bluetooth connection didn’t work either. Any help is appreciated!

Bluetooth won‘t work anyway, because no Play5 or Five model supports BT.
Do you use a P5 Gen1 on S1 or a Gen2 on S2?

Make sure the phono output is set to preamped line out and that the level for line in audio on Sonos room settings of the P5 is set high enough. About level 2-4 should work at all.
Instead of choosing the input manually you can also set autoplay on.
Just to ask… when you select the input as source the P5 itself is selected as active room? Just to be sure theres no network issue.
Did you try to use a different cable?

Make sure you have the 3.5 mm connector fully seated, not just to the first click.

You could try using another source like a CD or DVD player to confirm the cable and settings are correct.
