Beam 2 and Closed Captions

Recently installed a Beam 2. Paired with a couple of Ones for home theater. Realized Samsung TV no longer displays closed captions.  I use a Firestick for streaming. Closed captions are enabled on both TV and Firestick. Any ideas if this is a Beam issue?

The Beam should have no affect on the TV or Fire TV Stick’s ability to display CC. Unplug the TV and Fire TV Stick from power for a couple of minutes and test again.
