Sonos Beam (Gen 2) & Optima Cinemax D2 projector e-arc

I have connected Beam to the HDMI provided and then to the HDMI e-arc on my Cinemax D2 projector when I go to app it is saying no arc detected why is this? Checked all connections and fine is beam not compatible?

Sometimes, you have to turn on ARC/eARC on the creating device. Have you done so in the settings on this projector?

Did you add the Beam using the app?  You can't just connect via HDMI-ARC, you need to add it to the system also.

Solution - Thanks went in to Audio on projector and it allowed me to select SPDIF/e-ARC setting which solved problem as although detecting speaker was resetting as soon as any other input eg ps5 was plugged in.
