So, I’ve run across a number of topics regarding the Sonos Arc dropping audio, but none seem to be quite what we’re encountering, so I hope someone might have some insight here.As background, we’re dealing with a system with a Sonos Arc with two One SL satellites and the sub in the den, an Era 100 in the living room and a Beam in the master bedroom, all are connected via wifi and showing “excellent” connection statuses.Now for the issue. This recently started and is driving me crazy. When we start a playlist from the Sonos app, everything works very well like it should for 15-20 minutes, maybe even a while longer, but eventually the Sonos Arc stops. No error message in the app or any notification there's an issue, the app shows it still playing, but no sound.Sometimes stopping and restarting the playlist is enough to get everything working again for a while. Other times, I have to unplug the Arc, then resume the playlist. Any suggestions?

I have a Sonos Connect (Gen 1) with two speakers connected.  The Sonos on my PC can see them, but it does not show up on my Android (12) phone.  It was visible previously but no longer is.  I tried restarting my phone which did not help.  Also, I tried cycling power to the Sonos Connect, which did not help either.What can I do to get my phone to recognize this device?

This auto-play feature is making me crazy. Please let me toggle it off!We spent more time at home over the holidays & myself, my wife & my kids all resented this feature more & more every day we were home. When I use voice to request a track, I NEVER want another track to auto-play afterwards. No no no.There isn’t a single music service on the planet that knows how to auto-recommend songs without absolutely destroying the vibe after 2-3 suggested tracks. Apple Music ruins it in 1 song almost every time! Genius, you are not, Siri. Maybe if Pandora worked in Canada & I could use voice to like & dislike songs, this wouldn’t be so egregious. But in no way to I want my 10,000+$ worth of smart speakers blasting Maroon Five in my house without my permission. Nope nope nope no thank you.  PLEASE let me toggle back to the way this used to work. I understand people have been begging for Spotify-like auto-play. But it’s terrible. I hate it. Recently installed a Beam 2. Paired with a couple of Ones for home theater. Realized Samsung TV no longer displays closed captions.  I use a Firestick for streaming. Closed captions are enabled on both TV and Firestick. Any ideas if this is a Beam issue?Thanks.Larry Silvey

I am thinking of upgrading my old S1 system components and have the following upgrade discounts registered:One (Gen 1) 15% discount registered Play:1 15% discount registered Play:5 (Gen 1) 30% discount registeredUpgrading the Play:5 to a Five would use my 30% discount, no problems. But last week I would have been able to use the 15% upgrades on, say Era 100s - this now seems to be unavailable. Consequently I can’t see any way to use my 15% upgrades.Anyone else having this issue?

Question as subject line.  I have a Windows 11 desktop in the basement that acts as a fileshare for my mp3s.  I believe things are working because other devices in the house (including a Macbook Pro) can see the share and play the songs. But Sonos cannot.  I get the standard error message we’ve all seen, but I don’t know what my next steps are here. How can I find out what’s failing so I can fix it?(Sonos S1 controller, if that helps)

I dont know if anyone has ever asked this question here, but i want to know if you can connect a sonos connect gen 2 to studio monitors can you then interact with them in the sonos app that they can stream sound via wlan?I also want my studio monitors stay connected as my PC Output.Is it then possible to stream the sound Output of my PC to my different sonos products?like in both directions?The studio monitors go in an amp and then in my audio interface and i would connect the sonos in between those devices 

I have an existing S1 System with several speakers, Play 5/3 and 1I have a new Play 1 (set up on S2) and want to add it to my existing System (S1), and need to downgrade I have followed all the steps.. uploaded the S2 Controller, opted for ‘downgrade’… etc.. and it fails to complete the downgrade.. Have tried several times with no luck All advice welcome…  

I am a complete Sonos novice, so I don’t even know if this question makes sense.  My current old school setup is a Yamaha stereo receiver connected to a Bose accoustimas subwoofer, with two Bose 301 connected to the subwoofer.  The 301s need to be retired.  Can I connect 100s to my receiver using the inline adaptor connected to the cd out on my Yamaha receiver, but still keep the Bose subwoofer connected to the receiver to get more bass or would the 100s and the Bose subwoofer be out of synch? Just trying to avoid getting the Sonos mini subwoofer right away.  My primary use will be to listen to vinyl through my Fluance turntable that is connected to my Yamaha receiver.  I’ll grow my Sonos system over time.

A bit of background  Received our Arc March 2023. Setup is Arc, Play 1’s surround, gen1 sub, Samsung OLED 77 A2PUA. Arc connected to Ethernet. Current gen Firestick for content (dislike Samsung native). System worked/sounded great, no issues. 8 months.  Following the November 16 15.10 update I started getting very loud over-driven-speaker sound blasts. Not “pops” that this update was supposed to fix. Plus garbled, echoey, reverb-like audio from the surrounds.  Came here to the forum and posted this very loud blast of sound when TV turne on (not having completed any research 🧐). Followed advice given, contacted Sonos support and opened a ticket. The tech looked at the diagnostic, told me “it’s a known issue” and initiated the return process. Hi, I’ve just purchased beam gen 2 and 2x era 100. I can set up the beam to my tv no problem and the 2 era 100’s not the same network 2.4ghz. Whenever I try to set the era 100’s as surrounds I can’t get them to connect. The app just says trying to connect and won’t connect?

Purchased 2 ERA300s, how to activate 3 month free apple music ?  It gives error when i try to connect Apple Music using Sonos Services “we've run into a problem”. Any solutions for this problem?  Thank you in advance

I searched the forum before posting here and there are similar queries but nothing that answers my question. I have a samsung tv, 3 years old, i have a sonos arc and a sub gen 3. 3 times now in 6 months we turn the tv off at night and when we get up the next morning and turn the tv on, the hdmi-earc doesnt come on the TV speaker does. The only solution we have found is to unplug the tv and unplug the arc and start over which is a pain. So my question is why is this doing this. The first time it happened everyone said it was a bad HDMI cable so we listened and bought a new cable well it obviously isnt the issue. It is so frustrating and inconvenient to keep having this happen. I am hoping someone can give me some insight. Is it the TV is it the arc itself, what causes this issue.

Hi,Can anyone advise whether it’s possible to use a pair of Playbases  as a “conventional” Sonos stereo pair?Im asking as this would be the ideal solution for sound in my kitchen. The only real space I have is on top of tall units and a gap of about 4 inches - which a Playbase will fit into. I can easily get power to them and also an Ethernet cable, so the optical input won’t be used. The only real issue I have is how I’d configure them, ideally as a stereo pair, if that’s even possible. Any comments welcomed. Thanks - Rob

I am currently using Beam + 2x Sonos One + Sub with my TV.My computer desk is located behind my couch, so my 2x Sonos One are actually placed where one typically would locate PC speakers.If I were to upgrade my 2x Sonos One to 2x Era 100, would it be possible to switch between PC and TV?I have from the information online found out that this could be tricky.

Hi,we are facing this particular situation now for some months.We get a considerable amount of “unable to add tracks to the queue” kind of messages or the Sonos S1 app that just doesn’t want to play any songs. Immediately after this happens, I go to Spotify, play the very same song and select the same Sonos speakers. The song is directly played through the selected Sonos speakers in their respective rooms. Can anyone explain to me why the Sonos app can not play songs from its own environment and Spotify can? What are the possible reasons for this behavior and what are the solutions?Apparently it is not a network issue as via Spotify the Sonos speakers work instantly and stable. Thanks!

I had an 8 hour power outage night before last. When the power came back on my Sonos setup was scrammbled. Anyway, I was able it get it back accept for one A300. It connects to router (I can see the mac on the router) and the Sonos app, but the A300 refuses to register. So I cannot use it. I checked my Sonos account online and the device’s mac/serial number is registered. Things I have tried to get the A300 to register wth Sonos:turn A300 off and on moved A300 2 feet from router turn Orbi 960 mesh router off and on tried factory reset on A300Nothing worked. I do not know what to do. I hope the A300 is not damaged. It use to work great.My system:Arc, Gen 3 sub, and 2 A300s, Router is a Netgear Obri 960 (no satellite).  connect to SSID with combo 2.4 and 5 GHz, no 6GHz) ISP is Xfinity/ComcastThanks.

Everytime I turn on my TV I get the following popup message “Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC. The screen may flicker as the audio settings are changed.”I think this only happens with Sonos Soundbars when connected with eARC. I suppose it is because the soundbar HDMI-port gets in some sort of sleep mode when TV is off. Is it possible to fix this so we don’t get this message everytime?As a note I also want to add that sporadically I get disconnects during this handshake. I get following messages:Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC… Audio device disconnected from HDMI-eARC… Audio device connected via HDMI-eARC…This causes the HDMI port to flash number of times each time I turn on the TV.I think this should be low hanging fruit for Sonos to fix for Samsung TV users.When using HDMI-ARC (no eARC) I get no popups whatsoever. This only applies for eARC.For reference I have a Samsung Q90R from 2019.Hope anyone from Sonos can help!

I am upgrading my TV to ATMOS (LGC3) and need to be sure of compatibility. The retailer have suggested I bring my Sonos to store to check with their demo TV. Will I be able to this on a different TV ?

From 1 month ago, when i ask to my sonos (google assistant):“Can you put the radio franceinfo” , it take the swindon 105.5 US radio on tunein, not the french national radio.I have added france info to my favourites, but without succes.Can you fix it pls ?Thanks

I have an existing set up of play:1,3, and one and symfonik. I got the symfonik so that I could use airplay with it and through the symfonik stream to the other Sonos throughout the house.  now I have a xgimi home projector that supports sound through Bluetooth. What is the best way to stream to these other Sonos devices?
