J’a acheté une barre de son RAY qui est connectée à mon téléviseur Samsung (QLED 4K) via un câble optique. Je ne parviens pas à piloter le son avec la télécommande du téléviseur.
Y a t’il une solution ?

The challenge is that you need to change the remote from a ‘smart’ connection to a IR connection, so the Sonos Ray can ‘see it’. Using the HDMI ARC to optical adapter doesn’t change the fact that volume control isn’t sent across optical. If there isn’t any instructions on how to do that in the TV’s manual, and the link I provided earlier to the FAQ by Sonos doesn’t help, I’d suggest that you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.
When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Contrary to the information provided in the FAQ, it seems to me that I need to invest in a Sonos HDMI 2-1/optical adapter cable?

As I like to understand, this means that the optical link alone only transmits the signals in one direction?

Are we talking about connecting the Sonos Ray to the Samsung, or are we talking about just controlling the volume on the Ray?
Optical is indeed a one way transmission, so the Sonos Ray is unable to report any information back to the TV set. It also is relatively small in bandwidth, so no volume commands are sent across it. It also is limited to Dolby Digital, as any Atmos signal is too much data to pass through the available bandwidth. This often means setting up things on the TV set, and anything passing a signal to the TV set to restrict it to Dolby Digital.
Many TVs already have an optical out port. The Ray normally connects directly to that. If your TV does not have such a port, I believe the Ray ships with an adapter, or you can purchase one that allows you to convert from HDMI ARC (CEC) to optical.

My problem is only the sound control. , using the TV remote control.
The Ray is connected to the optical output of the TV.
The Ray works normally in manual mode and with the iPhone.
But I would like to use the TV remote control to control the sound, that would save me from using my iPhone.
All my attempts at adjustment and configuration have been unsuccessful.
Before buying a Sonos HDMI/Toslink adapter, I would like to be sure that it will work.
