I need a definitive answer please.I have a Samsung TV that has a Roku stick connected to one of the HDMI ports.  I use the Roku remotes (IR remote) to control volume on the TV now.I would like to connect a Sonos Ray soundbar to this TV via an optical connection.Can the Roku IR remote still control the volume of the Ray soundbar.  I don’t want to have to use 2 remotes.Thanks

I can’t set up Sonos Roam SL. When I go on to Sonos app, I have tried clicking both set up new system and join existing system. Both options result in dead ends.  If you pick set up new system, the app opens with Account and System greyed out and no more options you can pick, with a message saying “join nearby Sonos system Continue”. If you pick join existing system and then join that networks, it’s says there are devices in this system that use S1, and makes you go to s1 app, from which app you can’t set up new app. It’s infuriating that you even have to use an app and that the app doesn’t work. 

Thus has been happening for over two weeks, before that it was basically fine. This happens on all playlists, albums and radio stations.I have followed previous solutions which have extended the time before interruption. Re booted the WiFi, rebooted all Sonos equipment, plugged in network cable to 1 sonos item, removed the WiFi connection from the Sonos app, checked the three channels that I can use for Sonos network to get the channel with the least traffic on.Has there been an update on the Sonos 1 system or other that could be interfering with signal or the network. We have had fibre installed locally through the same underground system as the existing cable. We have not yet gone with fibre yet but have noticed disruption in our broadband. Where the signal blips out for a short-time. We have also had some high winds over the last couple of weeks.Any ideas how resolve this?Thanks

I’m deciding how to link my turntable into my Sonos system. I have two options, I can either link directly into my Era 100s via RCA and Analog to digital converter, or I can connect to the RCA imput into my Sonos Amps.  Will connecting directly to the Sonos amp have a higher quality analog to digital conversion than the ADC connector to the Era 100s? 

Using Sonos app on iOS. Everything is update. I have activated Amazon Alexa and can successfully play music from that source using the Sonos app. Sounds great, BTW.What’s not working is voice control of any kind. Microphone switch at lower rear is ON and showing green stripe. When I press the voice control button on the top of the speaker, the accompanying white LED blinks about five time and then turns off. Pressing voice services on the iOS app is non-responsive, which probably make sense since the speaker isn’t accepting input.Any thoughts? I've run through the usual reboot thing to no avail.Many thanks and best wishes for a great holiday.

Hi all! I’m using the S2 iOS app on an iPad. I have searched for radio stations and I click on one and the select Add to My Radio Stations. I’ve done this with a handful of stations, but then I can’t find My Radio Stations in the app, to see them.This is different than the Stations list on the main page. Those radio stations are already there, but mixed in with a ton of SiriusXM channels, so they are hard to find and you can’t reorder them. When I saw the different option to Add to My Radio Stations, I thought it was what I needed to keep radio separate from other streaming options. It lets me add them, but now where are they?Thanks in advance for any insight. I’ve dug around for a while…

Are the basses from the sonos move 2 ( once the equalizer is put on maximum with low frequences on the sonos app ) equal or better than the ones from the sonos five ( with equalizer maxed on low frequences too ) ?

Hi I've  got a sonos 1 . I have tried repeatedly to update it and it keeps showing error code 30. I've removed the sonos 2 app from my phone  and  factory reset the sonos 1 and still get the same error. Any help would be appreciated  before  I just walk away, it just shouldn't be this difficult.   Thanks

Hi..I will try my best to explain my setup and my issue . English is not my first language .Just to rule out Wi-Fi problems I will tell you download speed tested near the speakers. in living room tested 95 mbps. Dining room 77 mbps. Kitchen 93 mbps. All speakers are up to date. Spotify are up to date. I have 2 sonos play5 gen.2 Paired in stereo and sub gen. 3 in the living room. It have been playing whiteout issues. Now I have added a sonos move and a Sonos one Sl, to supplement sound in the dining room and in the kitchen. I mainly use Spotify for music streaming. My problem is, when I play a song on Spotify, it takes 25-30 seconds before all speakers starts playing. It doesn’t matter if I use Spotify or the Sonos app to start playing the music. After 30 seconds all speakers play in sync fine. But the real problem is, when I skip to next number the sound disappears in the kitchen and the dining room and it takes 30 seconds before all speakers play again. From my perspective it’s a soft

I have a BR100 bridge and the power light is not coming on.I have checked power source and all good.it has a uk three pin plug on the power cable and looks like it is none repairable, I can’t change the fuse.any ideas?

So I have 2 Sonos SLs + Sub + Arc connected to my Samsung Frame TV but only the ARC works with the TV...but all works together when playing music.  I have them grouped to a designated room.  Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong please?

I have connected my turntable to my Sonos Connect S15 via line-in and can see it recognized in my Sonos app. I do not have any Sonos speakers and want the audio to play on my Alexa echo dots and/or my echo shows via WiFi. I have the Sonos skill enabled in Alexa; however, I am struggling to set up to hear my parents old vinyls. Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Hey. I have a question about connecting Samsung Premiere LSP7T remote control to Sonos. I have connected my Beam (gen2) with my samsung projector via hdmi arc and have also checked that the cec is enabled for remote control. Also I found this article: https://support.sonos.com/en/article/use-a-samsung-one-remote-with-sonos-home-theater-speakers that suggest to set up universal remote, but differently from the samsung tv-s, the projector dosn’t seem to have that option.  While trying to set up the remote under Sonos App, I get to the step where I need to press the volume up button. If I press the button, I notice that the white light on the beam2 will blink lighter, then I press the button on the remote, but the setup in the app will time out and therefor fail.  Is there a solution how to set this particular remote control to work with Sonos?  Thank you,Elvar

HiI’m a long-time user of a connect:amp with my streaming account of Deezer. I got a Roam for Xmas, but I discovered this all thing with S1/S2 non compatibility.. what will be the best configuration to use my two systems on Deezer (as long as Deezer doesn’t allow a direct connection to Sonos…)?thank you in advance for your help

I have a sonos Era300 which I have been using for Spotify, which is working great as usual. Recenty I also started using Airplay, and found I have quite a delay in audio when using airplay from my Macbook M2. The Macbook is wired to the access point and the Era 300 is placed 2 meters from the access point.I am using a google Wifi Pro setup, with all 3 access points wired to the main one. When i check the Sonos app and the Google home app, both are reporting that the Era300 is using 5GHz.Question 1Is Era300 not capable of using the 6GHz band or am I mistaken by my lack of knowledge about wifi 6e? If so, is there anything I can do to make it use this band? Question 2If it is even possible to get it running on 6GHz, would that possibly solve my issue, or is the delay just a normal artifact of using Airplay?Let me know if more information is needed.Thanks in advance.

I have my beam gen 2 connected to my Samsung TV TU 7000 via EArc. Audio on tv is set to pass through.i am using the beam with 2x play onesIn the Sonos app it says the audio is Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1i have tried Prime Video and Netflix, still no ATMOS. I’m using a Firecube 4k Ultra . Any help greatly appreciated.

I have some older S1 sonos gear and recently got a couple of S2-only speakers. I want to set up a separate S2 system which is supposed to be possible.When I open my S2 app, it says it recognizes that I have an S1 system and I have two options: to just open the S1 controller or set up a new system. But the buttons only show “Open S1” or “More options”. None of the “More options” involve setting up a new system. I’m a bit lost as to how to proceed. Why don’t the buttons mirror the choices I’ve been given?I previously had started setting up my roam, but after I thought I finished it told me that in fact someone else had started setting it up already and I need to factory reset it to use it. So I factory reset it and now I just see this screen. I’m not sure why this is so difficult?! 

Please can someone explain what I doing wrong.  I bought a sonos amp and set it up in my UK setup then took it to our house abroad.  It asked to update to the new wifi network which it did but then it insisted on updating all the UK ones to the spain wifi.  I have read various guides and forum posts but none seem to do anything.  Surely this shold be as easy as clicking a button saying “add new home” or something.Anyway now back in the UK I had to setup the UK ones with the UK wifi and now it wants to move the amp on to that wifi.How the heck do I setup a second home????

Last night Sonos was working fine. I made no changes. When I woke up this morning, Sonos appeared unable to find my music files. If I browse my music by album, genre, or whatever, the UI says “no selections are available.” When I try to play a specific item from a playlist, I get an error saying that the file cannot be found. It lists a path to my NAS. It’s the correct path, and I am able to browse to that path from the File Explorer on Windows. The files is not missing. It really is there.I tried:Check for software updates. Result: an update was indeed available. I allowed it to install. No change to observed behavior. Rebooted the Sonos Connect device. Result: no change to observed behavior. Checked the Synology NAS where my music library lives to ensure that SMB 2/3 was still turned on. It was.I have a Connect in one room and two Play:1’s in another. I run the controller both as a Windows desktop app and on two iOS devices. Same symptoms in both places. All the Sonos devices run S2.

Hi there, I’ve just received a B&O Beolit 20 and already own two IKEA Symfonisk and am wondering if there is any way to connect these products? I wanted to get a Sonos bluetooth product to be able to connect everything to my Samsung Freestyle but got gifted a Beolit (which is incredible but not sure about the connectivity 😅)!  Thanks for any help, Roxane

I’ve acquired a Sonos ARC and Sub, but since I don’t have a iOS device, I was waiting for a acquaintance with an iPhone Xs to come by to help me calibrate it using TRUEPLAY. After installing the Sonos app (not Sonos S1 … by the way its very confusing reading Sonos website refering to Sonos S2 when it is not call that), going to Settings > System, and selecting my only configured room/device there is no “Trueplay” related option in any section. Can someone explain how to get it to appear?
