Hey there.
I’ve got a Sonos setup including an AMP, an ERA 300, a sonos move and a roam.
I can easily group and degroup all of those, connect my TV through HDMI to the AMP.
I just got a Project turntable that I’m connecting to the Amp with RCA cables.
The Amp detects the audio in, but it seems that the sound is really really low, and I can’t get it to be of good sound level.
Any idea what might be the issue?

The Amp needs a line level input. You probably need a preamp (either external or built in in the turntable and turned on).
hey 106rallye, thanks this is what I’m now thinling… I admit for a newbie it’s a bit counterintuitive that something called an Amp would need something to make the signal stronger beforehand… not sur what’s the purpose of the Amp then instead of the Port for example…

Turntables are famous for being such old technology that they have a special input on most receivers, labeled ‘Phono’ which includes a pre-amp. All other inputs on a receiver are line level inputs. Here is a good reference between Phono and Line levels. Sonos chose not two have two separate inputs, one Phono level, and one for every other device out there (tape, CD, DVD, etc).
