Overnight, my Sonos ARC stopped working properly with my LG Oled CX. I tried changing the HDMI cable, reset the TV and unplugged all other devices. When the audio output is set to CEC with eARC enabled on the tv, audio output works. When eARC is disabled, audio output does not work. CEC volume control does not work anymore, and the Sonos app says ‘ARC Mode not connected’ when doing a tv setup. Already tried setting up universal control again to no avail. This issue seemingly happened overnight, probably due to a software update? Diagnostics 1479171840

I just added a Sonos Boost and everything works great (all speakers are showing WM: 0). My question is, the speakers are also still showing connected to my WiFi network in my router app, so can I just remove my WiFi network from the Sonos app list, or does it still need that in order to work properly?

Hi, I have reset my Android phone (Samsung S10+ with Android 12) and now Play store tells me my phone is not compatible with the S1 app. Yet it was working fine before I reset my phone.App store allows me to download S2 without problems but tells me my network needs S1 (as expected). It then takes me to Play store where it tells me about the app issues.If I search Play store directly, only S2 shows.Any thoughts The only difference now is that I have Google family link running so my daughter can have the phone. Remember the S2 app can be found and downloaded without issues.

I have a Vizio TV with Sonos Amp connected to ARC port and fire tv stick connected to another HDMI port.  All is functioning well, except randomly, a stream will pause OR stop and go out to the main fire stick menu or even the main smart tv menu.  Any troubleshooting suggestions?TV is updated to latest firmware - though it is a few years old and there hasn’t been an update in a while.

Hi all, I hope for someone who can help me about a clarification:for Home theatre is possible use ARC and AMP with passive subwoofer? eventually I can add also 2 rear speakers?  to listen a vinyl I connect a turntable in AMP form Line-in but I can use the same configuration up of home theatre?In this case the HDMI ARC cable from tv must be connected in AMP or in ARC? Thanks

Hi,I have 2 rooms in the Sonos app: Sonos arc full system (surrounds and sub) and another room with roam. when trying to airplay from any of my Apple device (including Apple TV) I'm unable to do so to the Arc only. When trying to airplay to my roam it works 100%. tried removing the Sonos arc accessory from HomeKit but when trying to re add it it says the same issue again “unable to airplay to..." appreciate any help!

I have three Sonos One Speakers with Alexa installed I have been using all three for over 3 years they were doing very well happy with sound and quality of the system About 6 months ago the speakers all were updated with the latest firmware and know They will not work correctly. Ask Alexa to play music (Pandora, Xm Radio or Amazon) plays one song and then stops Alexa will not stop playing xm radio shows once it starts playing This has become frustrating and a problem with meIS THERE A FIX FOR THIS AS THIS IS ISSUE…….  

I just bought Sonos ARC and thought I was going to be blown away. The sound does not fill the room Instead the volume is very low and not very involving. I have to turn it up a lot to make it better than the TV. I have a Sony Bravia A80J. For example, if I keep it at 30 on the TV, on the soundbar I have to bring it to 45-50 to have the same sensations. I tried all kinds of settings.. I raised the highs and lows even from the Sonos APP. Has anyone else had the same experience? How did he solve the problem?I haven't used trueplay yet

Which is a better option and why HDMI or Optical , Coz we don't have an HDMI option in Ray Mini SoundBar , is it ok to not have HDMI port in Ray soundbar.  

Hi, I’m sure this question might have been asked before but trying to figure out how to best to do this.  I have a playbar, sonos sub, 2x sonos 1 speakers and just got an amp + 2 ceiling speakers.  I was thinking of using playbar + sub + amp (and 2 ceiling speakers) for a 5.1 surround set up (or a 3.1.2 set up if I understand the nomenclature correctly). Can I do this? Which device would I connect to my TV (the amp or the playbar)?  Could I do a 7.1 set up if I used the Sonos 1 speakers as well? (Or 5.1.2 if I understand)  

How can you connect sonos play one to HomeKit?

Is it possible to connect to a move thru bluetooth without setting up a wifi network? I am a college student on campus and we have a wap2 network with a username and password which is not supported by sonos. I want to just connect to my device through bluetooth but it is not working 

Hi,I am trying to connect a Gen 1 Beam to an older style display monitor that has analog RCA out (and no HDMI ARC), to an Analog to Digital Converter to the small digital audio TOSlink/HDMI adapter (that comes with the Beam) to HDMI cable into the Beam. Display RCA Out => ADC convertor => Beam digital audio/HDMI adapter cable => HDMI cable => BeamNo success.I definitely have an RCA out signal from the display. I have tested this by connecting directly to an old Receiver.The Beam setup does not find the signal.Has anyone successfully used this configuration? There are no success (or unsuccessful stories) I can find online.I can’t understand why it wouldn’t work (however messy it may seem).  The older style display monitor is of excellent quality and is a shame I can’t use my Beam with it for some decent sound.  I use an Amazon Firestick in the Display to stream Netflix, Prime, Spotify and the local terrestrial TV channels that are available via each station’s App installed t

I would like my Sonos One and new Sonos Five to play the same thing at the same time but the Sonos iOS app only recognises one product at a time.Spotify and other services recognise both and at the same time.They’re both using the same single WiFi network. There are no extenders and no mesh.There has only ever been one household and they’ve never been paired (because that’s not possible).How do I get it to work? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Hi!Not without problems, I’ve finally paired new Apple TV Remote with my 1st gen. Beam. The only problem left is that volume down button is increasing the volume. When paired with different remote everything is fine. Also old Siri Remote worked fine. Please help! Surely someone had the same problem!

Hi,I bought a Marantz amp pm7000n. The intention was to connect my turntable to the phono input, connect my marantz cd player. I want to use my current pair of Play 5s. I have a Sonos port. I am unsure how to connect the Sonos port to the marantz amp so the sound from the turntable and the CD player comes out on the Play5s. Thank you. 

Hello everyone and thanks for all the great information on here.I’ve been using Sonos for many years so I’m using a Bridge, 2 x Connect:Amp, and a Play:1.My space and my home theatre set up are unique.I’m using Sonos for music playback (Tidal, Spotify) as well as my little home theatre with a big screen. The theatre space is built in the corner of a 25’ x 35’ shop with 16’ . We have a loft in one end, below which is 8’ open joist ceiling. The remote will adjust the volume when watching TV or listening to music when the TV is off. Is there any way to pause music with the remote when the TV is off?

Have recently changed wifi routers. Followed the reinstall recs and seemed to have navigated that successfully…. except: When streaming from my Apple Music account (only), I seem to get sporadic skipping and ultimately an error message concerning the strength of my wifi. I do not have issues with Sirius, Sonos radio or streaming via a Bluetooth connection to my equipment. Thoughts? 

Hi everybody,so I just got 3 Sonos One speakers last week and overall im quite happy, but one major issue is that AirPlay doesn’t work as its supposed to. Connecting via AirPlay works well in most cases, but disconnecting from one or more rooms/speakers is not possible. It just keeps playing, loads for a long time (see screenshot) and then nothing happens. The only fix I found is to restart my iPhone (13 Pro). Never had to restart it before, now I’m constantly turning it on and off.Does anybody else have the same issue? Any tips on a fix?Thanks for the help!  

I have no option in the s2 app to connect my Sonos boost. Can anyone help?

Hi,I can no longer get Sonos to re-index my music library. I use a Samsung SSD plugged in by USB into my TP -link router. I can play music from it as usual but as soon as I try to get the Sonos app to re-index it, it tells me 'Music Files Not Available' The rest of the message tells me  (IP address of the device) is no longer available. But I have just tried playing a song that is stored on that device using Sonos and it has worked fine again.  Any recommendations?
