I have a beam gen 2 and sub gen 2. I am wanting to connect some 3rd party ceiling speakers for surround sound. Is this possible using a connect:amp s2?

Yes, the Connect Amp can be bonded to the Beam/Sub to use the connected ceiling speakers as the TV rear HT surround audio speakers… This Sonos support document provides the requirements and information needed for the setup:
