Hi!After a year with the sonos beam i finally got a sub gen 3, love it so far but after reading i see they recommend the arc with sub.  My question is how loud could i try this without get distortion or risk of damaging the speakers, the tv sound dosnt show sound level but only a plus and minus when i turn the sound up and down. Wonder if the system is set with a factory limit, that protect the speakers so one really cant play too loud? Example lets say the kids is home and decide to go all out with it, if they could turn it too high or isnt it possible?  Best Regards Pieter :-)

Hi therei have a new Samsung 55 inch QLED (Q60B) and I can’t connect to my new gen 2 beam. It consistently says the message “your audio device is connects to a port that does not support ARC, please connect your device to HDMI (2) ARC port.” I have connected the HDMI cable to the rear of the tv in the ARC connection just above the audio out. what am I doing wrong? ThanksJoe

My sonos play 1 will not connect to the system as a surround despite connecting via ethernet and doing factory reset? Any suggestions welcome...

Hello!I've reset all of my speakers due to intermittent connectivity issues.3 of 6 speakers won't connect to Sonos 1 app  - Play 5 and 2, Play 1s.Each speaker plays the chime and  each speaker flashes orange.Suggestions of how to resolve this would be very welcome.Thank you    

I recently bought 2 Sonos One SLs. I was able to set the system up and my phone was able to connect to them. However, every subsequent time I try to open the app it continues to load and then has me go through the whole setup process again. I am on the same WIFI network so do not understand why it does not connect automatically. It takes about 10 minutes to go through the connect process of finding the speakers, reentering the WIFI password, etc. I have deleted the app and then reinstalled it several times. I have gone through this process several times and it is making me rethink the purchase.My wife does not have the same issue and is able to connect automatically.  Given the price, it is extremely frustrating that these speakers do not connect automatically to the app when I open it. 

I recently purchased the Arc to replace my original sound bar, in my original set up I had a sub and two play1’ in my surround system. I upgraded the bar to arc as I was moving house. I am using new spectrum router and modem. The arc is working and I also somehow managed to get the sun connected to the arc.I am having multiple issues, 1) my new network doesn’t recognize my play1s,2) the app also doesn’t show my current network in the settings, system, network, section.  

Hi allive had this problem for a while now, tried all settings etc.I have a LG C2 connected to Sonos arc via earc/arc port. 2 ones for surround and sub.no problems whatsoever when toggled to arc, plays perfectly,no issues.as soon as earc is toggled on , every few minutes a slight glitch/drop in sound occurs, only brief, but noticeable. TV problem or Sonos problem?

Something is occasionally blocking my Wifi which only seems to happen when I play my music through my two Sonos One SL speakers. Has this already been reported?

Ahoj dá se vypnout Arc při poslechu muziky a poslouchat jen zadní One SL a používat pro ovládání Alexu? Opačně to jde ale chtěl bych to zkusit i naopak.Vim že když jsou použity One SL jako zadní prostorové repro mají vypnuty mikrofony a vše řídí Arc.V aplikaci je položka vypnutí prostorových reproduktorů a vypnutí Arc a poslech prostorových repro nevidím.Chtěl bych slyšet co dokážou bez pomoci Arc.

I used the Arcana Fury work around for the Sky Q lip sync issues and it has worked ok, pity about the extra cost. Now looking at moving from Sky Q to Sky Stream (Puck). So the question is does the Sonos Arc work seamlessly with the Sky stream or is there any work around required. Basically does the Stream eliminate lip sync issues?  Anyone gone down this road yet? Thanks

How can I connect my new play:1 into Sonos OS S1 with my old Play : 5 & OneI cannot update the OS because this will disconnect the old Play:5Help !

One of the most useless and terrible system i have ever bought.Sinds day one it had been a struggle to connect this pice of crap to my network.Some day's it connect with no  problem en most of the time it won't. Sonos S1 can't find any of my devices and Sonos 2s finds them but say's they are incompatible. Terrible and a wast of money!

2 days ago all three of our Alexa enabled devices stopped responding to the wake word (2x One's and 1x Arc). Since then I've tried removing and re-enabling the skill, and the usual resets etc. I left it for 24 hours to see if it would just clear itself to no avail.Today I tried to remove the voice assistant and re-add it on one of the devices and after logging into the Amazon account the Sonos app errors saying there was a problem (helpful error codes there Devs). Has anyone experienced similar or could suggest a way to resolve it?

I wheel my Arc on a TV cart to a closet when not in use - when my Arc is unplugged I would like to use my surrounds for music but the app will not let me without the Arc plugged in - anything I can do?

Hi, I am hoping to get some assistance with a problem that seems to be occurring once or twice a week and usually involves spending upwards of 30 minutes trying to resolve.I have had a Sonos system since 2014. Currently the system is comprised of a Move, Roam, an IKEA Symfonisk Lamp (Gen 1), a Beam (Gen 2) and a Sub (Gen 3).All of the products are connected via a Wi-Fi network. I do not have the Sonos Boost box.It seems that occasionally (perhaps 1-2 times per a week on average), I lose Wi-Fi connectivity in the house. Usually this is resolved without any intervention from myself and the Move, Roam and Lamp all seem to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network by themselves and don’t cause any issues.With regards the Beam / Sub, one of two things can happen:Beam still shows up in the Sonos App but with a “?” next to it, implying that the Sub is missing. Powering off the Sub at the wall and rebooting does not fix the issue. If I want to add the Sub back to the system I have to power off at the wal

just got off the phone with support, they had me to do what I had already done, the long &  short, it looks like the join button no longer works…..  anyone else experience this? any fixes?

Wondering how to switch my Sonos Roam to a different wifi network while it can still pick up the original wifi signal which the other 4 permanent speakers use. I don't wish the Roam to be part of a speaker network, but to remain independent. Currently it's set up in the bedroom and is linked to the other house speakers. Problem is that the wifi signal is too weak in the bedroom and the signal keeps dropping out. I know want it to work independently on through the wifi from a wifi extender plugged into a socket just outside the bedroom. Would appreciate any help. Thanks. 

I recently purchased a Samsung Q60BA    I connected my Sonos Amp via hdmi arc. I am running the audio through my analog out speakers.  I have the delay set at 2000.  I turned off all processing on the tv audio and I still have a slight delay.  I also grouped my beam to use as a center speaker. Even when the beam is turned all the way down I notice a small delay through the analog connected speakers.  Any suggestions?

I have a Sonos Roam SL. For some reason, it fails to connect to my Wifi. When I switch it on, it just flashes the orange light forever. I tried fixing the connection with the Sonos app, but it tells me to switch the device off and then back on. The problem is, it won't switch off: The advice is to press the power button for 5+ seconds, but nothing happens even if I press it for 20 seconds. At some point, the orange light sort of burns evenly for a couple of seconds, but then it just starts flashing again. What's happening here? The device basically isn't responding to anything I do.

hi therei can stream music from my macbook pro to my sonos amp via itunes without a problem, but when i stream the audio from a film (or any video) to the amp, it often hiccups and/or cuts out. toggling the audio output off and back on or unplugging and replugging the amp sometimes works, at least for a while. but the whole thing is finicky and weird. notably, we have no problems streaming audio from video via an ipad or iphone. sonos software is all up to date as far as i can tell and it’s a 2017 macbook pro running 12.6.2. there is a projector involved, but i can’t see how that would make a difference in the laptop/sonos connection (and we use the projector with the ipad as well, with no audio issues). has anyone experienced anything like this? i haven’t found anything online about this specific issue. 

I have an iPod Touch running iOS12.5.6 which is supposed to be in the supported versions for TruePlaybut I am receiving a message stating that my operating system is no longer supported.Is there a glitch or what am I missing. Thanks In Advance 

Sonos tech couldn’t help- working from a MacBook!!! I know! SMB1 enabled and Ntmlv1! There is no browse on add music library which is stored on the NAS drive! The network path I have typed gets me to password etc then as it try’s to add I get error code 1001- currently doing my nut in!

I have just added an 8th speaker, and in the controller on desktop Mac changing volume reveals a list of speakers but the 8th volume slider falls off the bottom of the list.  I don’t see a scroll bar or any way to adjust the volume of the 8th speaker.  Solution, anyone?

I’m considering purchasing a RAY Soundbar. I have a Sky Q remote which i currently use to control the TV volume. The remote doesn’t work on IR, I believe it works on Bluetooth (like a firestick).  Is it possible for this Sky remote to control the volume of the RAY?   

Unable to see the Spotify icon on add music services. Can see the others including Deezer. Unable to link my Spotify to my Sonos speaker.
