I have multiple Sonos products and have recently moved back from the US to UK. I have been using the Sonos One’s without problem with my Tidal subscription. I have just connected the Sonos Play 5 Gen 2. When pairing the Play 5 with a Sonos One that is already playing Tidal there is no issue. However when I try to select songs from tidal on just the Play 5 speaker I get the message “You have no active subscriptions” and to go to My.Tidal.COM to manage my account.Any ideas would be appreciated.

On Sonos, I am unable to view my LivePhish playlists.  I have deleted the app many times too.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi , I have a pair of FIVE speakers wired into a new turntable which works brilliantly. I want to operate a CD player alongside, can I do this without unplugging the turntable every time?

Hello  Bit of a novice here. I currently have a Sonos amp with a pair of passive speakers wired up, a turntable, two Sonos ones and a five. I'm thinking of adding a CD player into the mix. Would I just need an RCA switch to link it up to the amp so I can just switch between the turntable and CD player? I've tried an old CD player but the sound is distorted as hell but I'm thinking that's just because it's been stored in the loft for about 7 years and probably faulty😬.  Thanks in advance

If I run an e-arc HDMI cable from the projector ( it has regular HDMI and e-arc HDMI ) to the e-arc HDMI of the Sonos Arc how  and where do I then connect the APPLE TV player so I can watch shows on the projector getting e-arc sound from the ARC? I don’t have a television. I don’t want to have to mirror shows from the Apple because it doesn’t work well with the Sonos ARC.Can I run the e-arc HDMI from projector to input of the Fury Arcana and then run an HDMI output from the fury arcana to the apple HDMI and then an e-arc output from the Fury to the Sonos ARC? 

I want to do something as simple as use a recently purchased Sonos Roam as a speaker for an Amazon Dot for my wife who has poor sight.  I just want to connect to to Alexa via Bluetooth and then automatically play whatever Alexa is playing with no further speech or manual intervention . Is this possible, or have I bought something that is significantly over-specified? Johm

Igot my new Roam today and cannot get it to connect using the awful Sonos 2 app. The instructions state that when I turn the Roam on it should chime, and when selecting the bluetooth function it should chime twice. Mine does nothing depite turn up the volume. I does not even chime when it is turned off. Do you think the item is faulty, and thus causing the problems to connect?

I am trying to stream Audible and Sonos won’t get past ~4:16 when I’ll get the error message ‘Unable to play ‘Audible’ access denied’. I will then restart Audible, it will play another 4:16 second and repeat the error, over and over.I called the Sonos 1-800 # and they said I was getting interference. I turned off my error network and this fixed the problem for about 24 hours. Now the issue is back.My other streaming services (Tidal, XM Radio) work fine and I’ve never had this issue. I’ve tried with a Sonos Roam in a different room and get the same problem. I’ve tried streaming Audible on my phone (not on Sonos) and I get past 4:16 easily, no problems. So, the issue has to be with Sonos. I’ve tried deleting the Audible access in the Sonos app and that didn’t solve anything.I’ve been using Sonos for 10+ years now and have never had a problem like this and am very frustrated.I’m using this with Alexa but the same problem happens when I use the S2 remote app.  

I have disabled Dolby Atmos in Amazon Music Unlimited but it still plays Dolby Atmos when using the Sonos app.I am not sure if this is an issue with the Sonos app not honoring the Amazon settings or if the integration with Sonos is with the Amazon development team.Either way, I would like to suggest that Sonos or Amazon exclude Dolby Atmos when it is not enabled in the Amazon music settings.Thanks,Wazza

Hey my friends. Inquiring on some settings help. My setup is currently an LG TV with a Firestick 4K (using YouTube tv/Netflix/etc.) I have a Beam (gen 2) with 2 One SL’s as my surround. ARC is established. My questions are on both the tv and Firestick settings:  everything connected via HDMI  LG TV Settings:Sound Out: HDMI ARCQuestion 1: Digital Sound Out…..options are Auto, PCM, or Auto??Question 2: HDMI Input Audio Format (HDMI 1 = Firestick). Bitstream or PCM?Question 3: HDMI Input Audio Format (HDMI 2 = Beam into ARC input). I have a Sonos Boost, 4 Play1s and 1 Play3 and they are all currently connect to my wireless router.  How do I now move the Play1s and Play3 to the Boost?

I would like to be able to set my Sonos device with Google Home in Portugal, but this service is not currently available in my country. May I know why?As you know, it´s an essencial feature to spread the music through various speakers!!!

According to TCL, their 2022 Series 5 TVs support atmos. I’m considering buying one and connecting my system (Beam 2, sub, and Ones surround speakers). Does anyone here run atmos on such a system with the TCL 5? Just wondering of it works. Thanks,Brian

Hi, I’m new to Sonos and have just bought my first product, a Sonos Arc. It seems that, in order to use it, I have to connect via your app. I have downloaded this and tried to set it up/register an account. I can see and log in to my new account online but the app is stuck on the ‘verify email address’ screen so I can’t use the app until I verify my email. I haven’t received your email with a link to verify my email!

Just after some product advice please. I am due to receive a sonos beam gen 2 next week. I am an iPhone user therefore will be looking to do the sound test where you move your phone to different parts of the room for the best sound. I just need advice with regards to my living room to provide me the best sound.  To describe the room - it is one large room - that used to be 2 rooms. We sit in the first half of the room, but it is also opened up to the second part of the room. When doing the sounding test.  Should I move my phone into the extended part of the living room too up into the top corners? Your advice is greatly appreciated. Regards Lee Whitfield  

I own 2 x Arcs.I was watching walking dead on one of them at nearly 50 % volume which is what I would expect.I then watched a movie in the living room and volume was super loud even at about 10 - 15% volume.Because of this the loudness eq makes the bass so loud and over emphasised as it is adaptive at lower volume,The the only way we could watch the movie was with night mode on in order to hear the dialogue without being blown out of the sofa (Terminator 2 on ATV for info)I tried walking dead in the living room this am and again this could only be played at a very low volume.The only difference in the 2 systems is I have a sub mini on the living room system.Could that be causing the huge volume variation between the 2 systems???

Any reason I can’t shuffle ‘all songs’ on iTunes via Sonos iOS app? Seems like basic functionality  UPDATE this functionality on Sonos exists with Sonos iTunes integration and works with playlists, just not ‘all songs’ like it does on iTunes app

My Sonos Roam will not work.When plugged in with USB-C, the orange light comes on and stays on but cannot operate the Roam.When unplugged, no lights, cannot turn on at all. Can anybody help me??!

EDIT: Was able to fix myself. Hi everyone. I just set up two of my Sonos One speakers. I am able to play a lot of my music using my device (Samsung Note 10, Samsung music App). It seems to be able to detect a lot of my playlists. However I added some new music, and the Sonos app cannot detect the playlist. I also took a closer look and there are a few other playlists it cannot detect. A few times now I have  done the “Update Music Index Now” feature and it seems to do nothing. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate the help, Thank you

I’ve had an ARC for a while, but finally got a TV with an eARC port. When playing movies I occasionally hear static coming from the ARC. This seems to happen more often during bass heavy scenes, but that is not always the case. Sometimes it happens when people are just talking. The static seems to be coming from the ARC, and not the surrounds. This happens regardless of what streaming service I use (Netflix, HBO Max, Plex, etc.) I have the following setup:ARC+Sub+RS+LSApple TV 4KSamsung UN75AU8000 I’ve seen others with this issue and have tried the following:Replaced HDMI Cables going to ATV and ARC with higher speed cables (HDMI 2.1) Set eARC output on TV to Pass through, Auto, PCM, etc.  Reset audio/video settings on ATV and started over.  Rebooted the Sonos Updated the Sonos FirmwareIs there anyone who has had this issue occurring with this setup? There is a 25 second delay when I skip to a new song, or fast forward. Also when I decide to add an existing speaker to start playing.  Any idea on how to fix this? It always will start paying on just my Sonos One. 25 seconds later, the other speakers will start playing. 

Hello people,So I jumped on the Sonos wagon last year and things were fine until about a month ago when the speaker keeps disconnecting from the network. Today’s episode is the worst yet and I’m right considering selling the damn thing and getting another brand. I’ve spent at least 5 hours today trying everything listed on the support site but nothing works. I’ve reset the speaker over 7 times and also deleted and reinstalled the app, plus unplugging my router uncountable times today.  I’ll appreciate if anyone has a once and for all solution for this.  thank you Kingsley

 I have heard that sonos cannot handle 24bits stream music. Since tidal and deezer stream 24 bits music i think that is the reason why sonos always unsync problems and lags if not all ethernet wired. I also read that Qobuz is the first music streaming service that is able to play 24-bit high-resolution audio on Sonos speakers. See the link: https://www.gearpatrol.com/tech/audio/a35924794/how-to-stream-high-resolution-audio-sonos-speakers/ ...But Qobuz is not available in my country Canada.  Any update on this issue, if one day i will be able to play loseless 24 bits music and peacefully enjoy my sonos devices?
