All ot the sudden.  One of my Sonos one devices no longer plays music when I ask it to on the Google Assistant. It says I must tell it what device to play it on. It never did this before and it's obviously kind of stupid since it is obviously the device I want to play it on. I thought the fix would be to pair the Sonos one as its own speaker but I can't find that option in Google home. I can for other rooms where I have legacy Sonos devices paired with Google home devices. But when it's all integrated in one thing I can't seem to figure out how to make it default to playing on itself anymore?

I added google assistant as voice control in sonos and this works fine. I added Apple Music as music service in sonos and that works fine selecting music through the sonos app.I set Apple Music as preferred music service in google assistant.I get an error when asking music through voice control. First there is confirmation of the command to play the song through Apple Music but then it states that this is not supported.this Sames a pretty basic action, why is this not working?

the sound is delayed compared to the TV, how can I fix that ?

I had to update my router the other day. All IP addresses were 10.0.0.-. Now they are 192. But the IP addresses in my Sonos app differ from the IP Addresses in my router. Is that right?

I have a Gen 1 Play:5, been working great on the S1 Sonos App.  I also have several other Sonos products on the Sonos App, two seperate systems.I need to re-add the Play:5 to multiple iPhones and iPads. I have successfully factory reset the Play:5 and added to one iPhone, BUT, when I attempt to add it to other iPhone and iPad devices the S1 Sonos App cannot find the Play:5.  It continues to find the other Sonos devices and wants to connect to those.Any tricks I have missed in getting the Play:5 added to my other iPhones and iPads.  Again, I have the Play:5 successfully added to one iPhone, just cannot get S1 Sonos App on the other devices to find the Play:5.Oh, let me add that I’m on a Unify network.  I know there are quirks with Sonos and Unify, or at least there were...

Hello everyone, new here, I’m a bit of a technophobe where it comes to these systems, so please be gentle lol.I was initially sold a system with a connect and a bridge but updated to a boost a few years later as it stopped working due to becoming obsolete but recently had problems with connections and found out the connect has become obsolete too. So I am going to buy a port. My question is, I wonder do you have to put the boost a certain distance away from the router and the port? And also with the new port does that need to be a certain distance away from the boost and the router to avoid any interference.Thank you in advance 

I know this topic has been posted a few times, but I have not seen a recommendation that works for me. For years, I’ve stored an iTunes music library on my QNAP NAS, and accessed it as my Music Library via Sonos through this path: //[NAS IP]/homes/music/iTunes Media/Music A couple months ago, it stopped working.  I removed and re-added my library, but still nothing.  I found a thread about SMB and confirmed that I have S2 and SMB2 on the NAS.  I tried changing the path to have no space between “iTunes” and “Media.”  No change. Interestingly, although none of my library shows up in Sonos searches in the app my NAS shows up in Browse (perhaps as a Media Server?), and even shows content.  But none of the tracks will play (throwing an error). The only other thing I can think of is the way Sonos logs into my NAS.  I enabled 2FA on my NAS about 6 months ago, requiring a Google Authenticator code.  Obviously, Sonos can’t enter that.  So perhaps Sonos can’t properly login?  How does one work a

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Sonos App and even reauthorizing access.  It says “no selections available” and it seems like other may have had similar issues.  Nothing works.  Is there a mis-compatibility with YouTube music and Sonos?

Calm radio stopped working on my sonos. I have tried reinstalling it and it has not made any difference. Any ideas?

hi all i cannot connect wirelesly anymore on my sonos play 5, it works fine wired into router but is across the other side of living room so no good, i believe i have tried everything!

 I am really hoping someone can help me because I am at my wits end in trying to make the Sonos Beam and Sonos Roam work with Alexa household account, when you try and change account it get “ sorry I’m not able to switch account at the moment”.  I have one 1x Sonos Move, 2 Sonos Beams, 1 Sonos Roam, 2x Sonos one. The Sonos One was set up with the Alexa voice assistant in line with best practices and with our household account, set up with linked profiles so that we can link to Spotify accounts, this works perfectly fine in saying Alexa switch account.  Both the Sonos ones work absolutely fine, the Sonos move also works absolutely fine, however tI hav  two Sonos Beams and the Sonos Roam whenever you ask it to change account it says ‘sorry im not able to switch account at the moment”.   Before I get the standard cut and paste of disabling skill, relinking ect, I have spent the best part of three days getting right down to packet level inspections, every speaker has been deleted off both

I’ve been having problems with the Sub (Gen 3) for some time now. I have the Arc/Sub Gen 3/One SL in a home theatre with the Sony XR-83A90J. There’s this faint sound the subwoofer makes everytime the TV is turned on, it didn’t happen in the beginning. I’m not sure why it happens now. When watching a movie the impression is that the subwoofer is not there sometimes while other times it’s like it’s just making this loud one-note bass sound that is too much and very annoying. I tried playing a Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 test tone and while all channels sound as they should from the other speakers, the subwoofer channel is not heard from the Sub but the Arc.I use this file here https://www.demolandia.net/downloads.html?id=2259505.The system is tuned with Trueplay with no further adjustments.Any ideas? My Arc was replaced recently because of some issues with the sound from the whole system, I’m wondering if the Sub needs to be replaced as well.

Hi!I'm having issues playing my Spotify through Sonos Beam. Has been working with no issue for a couple of weeks and today nothing. Tried uninstalling everything from my phone and reinstalling. Any suggestions?Thanks,Terri

Hi All,The SUB in my Arc+LS+RS+Sub setup says it’s connected but I am no longer getting any sound out of it despite restarting the router and Sonos system several times, as suggested in a similar post.You can see from the screenshots it is connected; you can see the status of Atmos sound hitting the Arc; you can even see that I have turned the sub volume up to max! Nothing! I have the volume limiter set to 50% but not sure why that would affected the sub. Please help!  

My Sonos Playbar has a virus. The router I use is picking up fedapush spam traffic coming from that device. (See attachment.)I have tried to do a factory reset (holding play/pause/mute) while connecting the cable. This reset the settings for the device’s connection to the network, but did not stop the spam.How can I do a full reset of my device? Or is there another way to remove this virus?

I have a number of older components grouped into various rooms and as I understand it , none of these components support airplay.  From reading community responses it looks like I would have to upgrade only one component in each room in order to use airplay in that room. Is that correct? (e.g., playbar, sub, and two play ones in room….I would replace a single play one with Sonos one and then entire room would be enabled….is that correct?)

Have four ports. Three ports suddenly indicate disconnected, and one port indicates connected. Sound only comes from the port which says connected. I have not physically touched any of the four ports. 

I have bought the Connect:Amp a few years back and, after a short lived connection success, I have not been able to connect anymore despite numerous factory resets of the Connect:Amp, and re-installs of the IOS App.Any clue? Can the Connect:Amp be connected only via mobile phone? Is there any alternative, independent controller that can be shared by the family?Thank you.

 Hi all!After several weeks of testing and investigating, I eventually decided to involve you. Hope you can help me to bring some light into this topic. It is weird and not easy to describe. I do my best!Products:Beam2 2* Sonos One SL SubMiniFirmware of all devices is updated. So are the Apps on all mobile phones / tablets / computers.Beam2 is the main device. It is attached to the LG TV eArc.So far so good, it works. The iOS app as well as the MacOS app have issues to „connect“ to the system. The connection itself works. I can send commands to the system. Volume changes, play music … whatever. It all works, basically.However, the app(s) do not show the current status. When I open the app, the volume is zero, the music which is played is not displayed in the app. It looks like it is not connected. Screenshot attached - it was playing music while I made it. What I did so far.Plugged an ethernet cable into the Beam2. It is now connected via cable, the other speakers use the Sonos network
